I'm glad these guys are getting newfound love again after so long! This truly was the year of both Tails -& Knuckles-
Tails is a character that I feel deserves a spotlight. I really love the friendship between him and sonic. And he’s had 3 of his own games. Tails adventure tails skypatrol and tails and the music maker for the sega pico. I played tails adventure on my Sega genesis. So yeah, I wish you a happy birthday tails.

@@kingjamesc1156 I mean unless there is fan port to the Megadrive out there can't you possible have played it on the Genesis as Tails Adventure(s) was a GameGear exclusive title. And unlike the SNES with its Super Gameboy had the Megadrive/Genesis no way of playing Gamegear games over it.
Tails is amazing next to Luigi & this was a cute story. And by the way, the Classic-Modern division is finally ending, both timelines are being merged back into one and it is possible that “Classic-exclusive” characters will finally have their chance to co-exist with the Modern cast at some point. Time will tell, I think the future of Sonic is looking very bright right now.
Guess Sega realised how stupid the idea was in the first place and the only instance where it was properly acknowledged was in Forces with Classic Sonic said to be from another universe. We’ll just chalk it up to the Phantom Ruby screwing with the characters’ perception of reality since they never explained what it can or can’t do.
Honestly, the "classic exclusive" mandates felt very limiting.
It could also ruin the possibility of rebooting their personalities for the modern games ala Vector, Episo and Charmy from Chaotix to Sonic Heroes.
I'm glad to hear the news that the mandates are slowly getting lifted, but it a slightly hard to rub off the feeling with how Sonic was treated as a punching bag in the 2010's.
@Golden bones Speaking of Chaotix, we still haven't gotten their Classic selves show up in any media since the Archie Comics.
I had to learn that when Flynn makes writes Sonic Anniversary single specials, the story is very basic and simple. No subplots.
This story felt like an standard episode for a Saturday morning cartoon.
It was a fun read, and I enjoyed it for what it is.
Makes me wonder if we’ll see the battle birds next time the comics take us to the classic world.

By the way, sorry to point this out but in Rusty Ruin Zone is fog what surrounds Carrottia and not smoke made by her carrot missiles (6:04 and 6:23).
The fog is a natural element of the zone in the game, at least in the Saturn version, which is surely Tails' idea to use it and the Flickies to distract Carrottia, enough to sabotage her vehicle and to position her at the edge of the pit for her to fall.

Also I forgot to say another reason why the Sonic Legacy team is bad people is because they aslo team up with a disgusting guy who love jack it to underage sonic characters and being racist one of them name Captain awf adult on witter and I know I already stated I'll let you believe what you believe and I'm not trying to change minds here but I forgot to add that very important detail so yea bra total f***** up people if you got to hang out with a guy like that and there's a lot of proof literally I can send you my emails of screenshots when I have a conversation with this prick but yeah anyway that's all I got to say

actually Amy's anniversary has already been due to appearing in the sonic manga first, believe she even predates tails and sally.

Well Amy made her debut in Sonic CD and canonically CD is set after the first game and before Sonic the hedgehog 2 although SatAM came out before and Sonic CD and Sonic 2.
@@deniseg9210 she didn't, she appeared first in the sonic the hedgehog manga which was 1992, it's where tail's lotus 7 from that one screen in sonic cd coems from

Its unbelievable A Comic that is entirely good no problems what so ever.
Characterization is on point.
The elements from the games that are taken are used well
The art is spectacular as always
Like if I was forced to name a nitpick that maybe that I'm not the biggest fan of Witchcard taken after Gruntilda but that is stretching it.
The only way this could have been better would have been if it came with a free download code for 3D Blasts sound track to go along with the visuals.

if amy is the next character to get a 30th Aniversary, there should be a story with metal sonic since it would be his 30th anniversary as well and there was an eggman sotry in sonic's Aniversary

Not gonna lie, I really hope SEGA takes advantage of the fact it's the classic universe and celebrates arguably some of Sonic's oldest buddies, That being Mighty and Ray. Since the 30th anniversary of when the Sega Sonic arcade game was released is coming up around June 1st. I know it's unlikely, but still. These two were possibly the first sonic characters to get voices in the games, and predates all Knuckles, Amy AND Metal Sonic. Not to mention they're fan favourites!
Even if they can't get an anniversary comic all to themselves for whatever reason, they could easily share it with Amy, since they did team up with her in the 30th anniversary comic and CD was released just a few months after Sega Sonic. Again, I know it's unlikely, but I'd love to see these two get some attention.

I hope IDW makes a Satam mini series for next year but i think they won't because Sega of Japan hates the american Sonic lore.
Japan does it really hate the American lore anymore since they made Sonic's spinball Canon. Tho that idea is never going to happen the satam Cast is beyond dead💀

If they can come back despite being less known than Big, then there’s no reason for them to not acknowledge the Satam and those characters does have a big part in Sonic’s US history even though they only appeared in one game with their appearances being in the Archie comics.
Heck, some people thought Vintage style He-Man figures wouldn’t sell today beyond the nostalgic fans years ago but Motu Origins says otherwise and Transformers just gave us a Marvel G2 Jhixus who only comic fans would know. The Satam cast has enough going for them to be merchandisable just like the main cast.
@s Sega definitely knows how to lower expectations and dose any momentum they get with Sonic. Like Forces halting the success gained off from Mania.
