Kenny & Trace Vlog - Travelling to Alleppey & Kodai for Birthdays [4K]

- It's been years since I have put out such a vlog. The previous vlogs were either part of a large project like (Breezer Vivid with Abish or The US Vlog for America Tourism) and not super personal.
What's changed is that I am married and grown a lot from my previous vlogs. So I was excited to show you how my life has changed with Trace while also expressing my love for Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Alleppey is super special to me cause my aunt stays there. She is a person I have always looked up to cause she is wise beyond her years and a mother figure to my dad. Celebrating Tracys birthday as she also met her for the first time was important to me and made documenting it seem super vital.
Cut to my dad making an impromptu plan to chill at Kodai for his birthday made it serendipitous. The vlog was coming together so naturally! How about we combine the april born babies into one video.
I have put a lot of love and care into this, It revitalised a lot of things I have always felt a deep connection with.
Shooting, editing, storytelling, family, home and sharing it with my audience in a special way.

I love how you captured the mundane things like your Aunt making tea, that celebration on the street, you going grocery shopping, the horse riding on the street and combined with some really soulful music. This is such an authentic representation of India that shows bits of our daily life, culture and the nature. Would love to see some more such vlogs Kenny! 🥰
So I got to learn : life after you marriage doesn't have to be over exciting, the more simple, easy going it is, the more comfortable it is, it's just you two and your understanding, then it doesn't make you feel awkward even when with each other's family.
Liked the slow pacing of the vlog, very rare to see these days, gives the feeling of the place you're visiting and enjoying. Lovely to see you with your family. ❤️

Gosh. This almost brings tears to my eyes. Sometimes I forget how much I miss Kerala. It's funny how it's the little things that make you feel like it's home. The carvings on the door. The steel pathrams in the kitchen. The cozy quarters. I miss it all so much. I miss the pace of life the most. Thanks for doing Kerala justice in this video and giving me a small piece of home.

Kenny this vlog is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while. Every single scene brought memories back. The streets, the rain your aunt making tea reminded me of my grandmother and all my relatives in kerala that I haven't seen in 3 years and kodaikanal and alleppey were places where my family had gone for family vacations and we haven't been on one for so so long.
I was sobbing remembering all this. Thank you for making me feel like i was in kerala today
