- Travelling with Trace is always fun. The excitement of filming it is bringing me more joy than I could comprehend. Even though we only had two day trip at Vagamon, It felt just right cause of the wonderful things we got to experience. If you had told me that I would be shooting so many vlogs based out of Kerala, I would have found it strange but its a happy accident. Hope you enjoy it and let us know in the comments what resonated with you the most!

I have started listening to simple ken recently. I started from the 1st one so I have finished episode 11. I listen to one episode every day during my morning walk. It's a wonderful feeling... like I am walking with a friend... chit chatting... smiling and even laughing to myself sometimes. Love it... please don't ever stop it. Even if you are a 100yrs old...

I was in 4th std when I visited Vagamon in 2006. We went there with my maternal cousins. It was such a beautiful place and really peaceful since it wasn't a popular tourist spot back then. I remember having 6 icecreams one day during the trip. It was a lot of fun.

I remember going to wayanad as a kid, it was such an amazing experience, cause i realized then that my parents can also be kids cause they were as amused seeing the view as we were. It was a revelation,to know that adults have the same energy and curiosity that children possess, but they choose to hide it for some reason.Btw the vlog was like drinking cold lemon juice on a hot sunny day, so refreshing. OKay , my favourite hill station in India is Landour . I love how small and cosy it is. The food is great and the Himalayas look grand from the Char Dukan.

Takes me back to when I had visited Vagamon in 2015. There was this place called Parandupara where it was all foggy and you could see the valleys from up top, got some homemade chocolates from there which were hella tasty.
Sitting far away this pulls at the heart. What a special place Kerala is 🤗
Kenny thanks for letting me share this wonderful memory i hadwhen i hadgone in a family getaway to khilsu a hill station in uttarakhand,yesprobably people outside uttarakhand might not know but then that makes it even more precious.we had nice warm meals with family bonding in cold hidden inside the thick comforters and talking all nights. It was wonderful to me cause I got time alone to read also
Hey Kenny! Lovely video as usual and a different perspective to Vagamon from the one I've been too! One of my recent favourite trips was one with one of my best friends to this place in Japan called Okutama! It's something similar to Vagamon, a beautiful, mystical mountainous area that's not known to a lot of locals. We did a cross mountain hike (across three mountains) in a day and we came across a couple of lovely local homes situated on the sides of the steepest of valleys, had tea with them and a random conversation about the humidity xDD. It was so great hiking up, the view, the mist, the fog and the crushed lunch we carried in our bags (smashed croissants xD). Also, a heartwarming feel talking with your friend and listening to music, taking pictures of the beautiful views of the mountain ranges. Stuff like this really calms an individual from their usual daily routine, and I'd recommend everyone to go to places as these to just, like you said, recharge yourself! Cheers!!😄

Watching your vlogs just makes my heart smile...God bless you both always ❤️….So my favourite hill station memory would be the one from Shillong..I study abroad , so a part of me always thought the world outside of India is a lot more prettier and aesthetic.But then my dad got posted to the Eastern Air command in Shillong and I got to see the Chirapunjee waterfalls in all of its glory.It was just so mesmerising, I don’t think I have ever seen anything more serine and beautiful…Breathtaking views and memorable experiences.And now , I feel like I should explore my country more often because India has such gems ❤.This was my tiny hill station experience….Hope you continue to upload more vlogs with your cute wife….Touchwood ❤️
These vlogs are such a calm in the storm💚 It reminds me of the best time I had once in Saputara while boating at dusk. Everything was so serene... ropeway and hot air balloons very distant and at far ends from each other..couple of birds going back to their homes and an endless beautiful brown-orange sky with the sound of water as the oars pushed through it. This took me back to Waynad/Ooty - all drivable form Bangalore where I used to stay a while back - brings back fond memories of a nice road trip over a weekend - minimalistic, short and yet so rejuvenating. that you live a lifetime worth of hapiness in 3 days.
I really think about my memories as a kid who was so happy within nature and just hanging out with family and exploring places. When did life catch up? When did I stop appreciating beauty around me?
This video was very calming and just reminded to enjoy life as it comes.

thank you Kenny for uploading this wholesome vlog....enjoyed every bit of it. Just 3 months back me and my society freinds went to Lonavala Hillstation and that trip is something ill never forget in my life. We were just 4 of us and we travelled a few places there and had some greattttt Misal Pav and Kanda Bhajji for the first time. Ill suggest everyone to go and explore Lonavala with your closed ones.....it's a therapy.

Ohh this entire video just gave me a wholesome feeling of my childhood holidays in kerala. I used to run around touching the touch me nots (sounds wrong) 😂 and there used to be a rubber plantation near my grandparents house and the naughty kids that we were we used to overturn all the little cups collecting the rubber! I feel so bad as an adult 😅 #justkeralathings
It's Vanilla County, it's such an awesome place which you'll never forget once you have visited.
Back when i was a teenager, we went to Sikkim, which just like Vagamon is unexplored. I dont have a particular memory except for the fact that we watched a Bollywood movie , New York in Gangtok lol.
The entire trip was so beautiful. The green mountains, the clouds almost touching the tips,clean roads, the most peaceful street dogs, and most importantly, the people of Gangtok. We didnt feel like strangers in a land away from home for everyone, from the hotel staff to the taxi drivers was so kind and warm.
It’s been a decade since that trip, and i have been on many trips since then. But Sikkim never slips from my mind.

Our family of 6, including my grandparents, went to shillong for the most beautiful and calm vacation during diwali a few years back. I remember the diwali night when all of us sat on the bed together with the lights off and the curtains drawn apart watching the fireworks over a star studded hill top. It is easily one of my most favorite memories ever. ❣️
LOVE THIS ONE! But you missed the chance to put the LIRIL theme song during the waterfall bath :P
So once me and my then girlfriend went to this so called beautiful place (which it really is) called Vagamon from Kochi on a TVS Wego. We both are mallus from Mumbai staying temporarily in Kerala and our scooter was also MH. But when we asked around in hotels for a room, no one allowed us as we were 'unmarried'. One person was kind enough to explain the entire situation of how locals might call the police even if he allows us to stay and then it will be a hassle for all of us. He suggested that we go to Elapara, which is 17kms from Vagamon, where we can get couple friendly hotels.
The time was past 6 in the evening, there was fog all around and the sun had also set, though it was not dark yet. Now the 17 kms was on mountainous roads which was not that good then. It had bad patches, hairpins, narrow stretches etc. and the visibility was very less. We rode our scooter behind a car and followed its tail lights, the only thing visible in the fog and darkness. Finally after an hour or so we reached Elappara, checked into a very cosy hotel room. In comparison to the ordeal at Vagamon this hotel felt like heaven. Good staff, nice rooms and great service.
Moral of the story: If you are an unmarried couple you can't stay at Vagamon. Even the property in the video has specially mentioned that in their rules.
I just loved every second of this vlog. Kenny you're just amazing...amazing and amazing.

2 months ago, i went to Kodaikanal which is also a hill station in the Southern part of India. The traffic inside the city was a bummer as it was a long weekend so everyone was there. But except that it was lovely place, i was there with my sister and some of her friends, we went around the city, waterfalls, hills, blah blah blah. But the most fun part was the UNO and Dumb Charades we played back in the hotel room. Honestly i was stuck and i needed a break and even though it seems like a basic trip but it helped me to cry less.
I cant really pick one hill station memory so heres three :
1) rohtang pass as a child , sitting on a yak with nothing but sun , family ,snow and yak shit
2) A peaceful cottage somewhere in mukteshwar uttarkhand that we keep going to super fortunate to keep going back and seeing the himalyan ranges , the sunsets and the snow peaks while having hot chai
3) Munnar during monsoon where we took our cousins and uncle aunty from poland to the tea gardens and factories , hikes , casual walks , watching waterfalls while eating maggi and playing carrom in the resort we were staying at , one of the happiest memories we shared with them .
Can't wait to go to coonoor next year :))

For me the best hill station memory is with my lovely parents at Mahableshwar where we had a lot of fun like visiting sunset point and horse riding and of course purchased a lot of strawberries😄😄

Me and my brother were 10 and 8 respectively, on a family vacation in Manali. We both went to the hotel rooftop at night and the night sky, with the Milky Way visible, that became a core memory for us. Seeing the stars so close also ignited and encouraged the curiosity for science and the universe in both of us.
I went to Ladakh this past July, met someone I am falling for hard, it started in Merak 💕

Vagamon is tootally underated and needs to be treasured, I went with my family last year to a report there called holiday wagamon (I think) and it was an extremely wonderful time with beautiful views.
I recently visited Munnad. The stream was also there but Vagamon seems to be more quiet and less crowded.

There are many places in kerala which should be explore . Many people are not aware of it. Nice video ..
If you love hill stations you should definitely come down to chikamagaluru the next time you are in Bangalore.

My top hill station memory has to be mahabaleshwar...
That place is known for it's amazing strawberries..and I remember going to a shop where they serve you the most naturally good strawberry icecream(not the usual kind which has a lot of artificial flavor and sweetness!!!)..plus they also make the waffle cone in front of you!!...possibly the freshest ice cream I have ever had😌☺

Have been to kodai so many times, even with my ex. And I just erase gim from all my mental pictures. Love that place so much. A munnar to kodai hiking expedition has been a long time goal.
