Problem isn’t the listening to the mind,the issue resides in the ignorance that veils the true position of the mind and it’s nature.The mind is a optimal servant but a wicked master..
It depends where the “inner voice is coming from” I.e. from our mind? From our intelligence? Or from Paramatma…until we don’t have direct connection and relationship with Krsna, best to follow the words of Guru, acharyas and Vedic scriptures. One can continue to follow these three even while in direct communication with paramatma because they ALL align.

That is a fact. He has given me great hope for the continuance of Real Krishna Consciousness. Godhead is light and Maya is darkness so Maharaja is giving that light as a dedicated servant of Srila Prabhupada. Very Glorious in this horrible age of Kali where everything gets degraded and spoiled by it's influence. Hare Krishna.

My inner voice manifested as a Shukadev green and yellow parrot in a palm tree at an ISCKON temple. Seemingly no one else saw or heard this bird but me. I thought it was an escaped pet, but I'm not sure. This is California

My inner voice gave me many valuable and sensible advices . I won't listen it and end up in problems troubles and regrets
