Absolutely love the blue (sure, I suggested pink for shits and giggles, but the blue is fantastic) and the detail you did and the color really bring out the beauty of the casting as well.

Lee did a set of three of these recently, in a variety of colours, and I think you've surpassed even his fine work. Get some more Matchboxes done - you're rather good at it !! 😁 The advantage of using the more common castings is, surely nobody is going to moan about it not being a "proper" restoration. Here in the UK, Matchbox was king when I was growing up. You've done a great job on that early Superfast
here in germany "Matchbox" became a synonymous for thise little die-casts no matter what the actual brand is... that's how King they really were.
