I'm so sorry for being inactive like.. 99% of the time, but senior year is really kicking my butt!
I know this isn't the animatic that I previewed but this is definitely an animatic that I have been dying to finish and finally got around to it (explaining the sudden changes of style hopping around at the end of the video haha,,)
I'm so sorry that my Hamilton videos got taken down, I'll definitely try to re-upload them soon!!
In the meantime have this kinda messy and kinda fluid (and complete!! yay!!) visual of the squip.
note: I know that Jeremy doesn't actually get the squip from Rich, but I really wanted to show him becoming really enticed by the idea of it! Plus it's not the real squip, it's actually just another illusion portrayed all over the animatic.
I drew a whole lot of inspiration from Aladdin's "Friend Like Me" because the song really gave me that feeling of showing an entirely new world of riches (hehe, rich) and luxury.
Hopefully CZcams is nice enough to me and let's me keep this video up, this is a really long description hUFF!!

I was thinking in something: Rich repeating 'then' in this song suggests that Rich was actually trying to stop himself from speaking but couldn't because the Squip made him do it. Also, in 'Upgrade' the 'now now now' bit actually starts off as 'no no no' so it's like the Squip is changing his thoughts in his head

THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG AND NOW THIS IS MY FAVORITE ANIMATIC. I love how intense it feels with Rich looming and all of the other voices coming through more that you actually animated them. The blue fire was nice as a small blip of a foreshadow for Rich Set A Fire. Rich looks so powerful and it's fun to watch. Rich is my favorite character btw and you did an awesome job. Now escuse me while I go watch this repeatedly for the next hour. I LOVE IT

This is incredible!! The poses and emotions are so well done. It's fluid and the use of colour is just AHHH!! This is by far the best squip animatics I've ever seen!! I really love the angles used with Rich in the more scary(IDK how to describe it) moments. In conclusion, THIS IS GREAT OMG I LOVE IT!!

I love the parts where you can see that Rich is being controlled by the squip (his eyes flashing blue, etc). It’s just so subtly terrifying and a reminder that this isn’t actually Rich and it’s an evil computer.
