I made these. They were so good. Amazing flavor and not dry. I have made many different cornbread recipes but nnothing as good as these. This recipe is a keeper.
Thank you for the tip about mixing the dry ingredients well enough as to not over mix when combined with the wet. Also, I'm told that a little sour cream can also keep the batter moist.
Mines came out more soupy then anything Side note : added a lil bit more flower and instead of honey in the batter I used Agave nectar (not a lot) and they came out perfect

Hi Tobias, I tried your recipe and it was great, I only had one problem and that was my muffins sunk in the middle. I'm wondering if it was because the recipe called for baking soda and it should have been baking powder?? Other wise they were good, and I will make them again, with baking powder this time!! I think you are spot on. Mine sunk in the middle also...And HE SAID 1/3 cup of mazola. Way way to much. Threw them in the garbage.
I had the same exact problem. I think it should have been baking powder.
He says baking soda but he wrote Baking Powder over that part of the video because I think he realized his mistake after he had made the video.
