Hey dude people rode those forever all over the country all over the world they did just fine then they had to go computerized everything I can't do any tuning or anything on my 2016 Dyna wide glide too many sensors that's why I love my old shovel heads
Dude, get used to dealers, and even some small shops tell you, that they can't work on your "old" bike. Some just won't work on them due to the fact they know next to nothing about cool bikes like Pan's, Shovelheads, and really don't like Iron heads, which I like a lot. I just learn it, and build my own bikes. Just finished my 73 Elvira, which I just profiled on my channel. Your stuff is awesome!!
Yeah thats the uaual dealership BS. I had a 07 with the factory extended warranty and the local dealership wouldnt work on it. Now I ride a 1988 and good luck finding anyone to work on it.
@tobinlakeguideservices I think the 96 has a different two tone pinstripe then the 98. 98 had gold and purple and 96 had gold and red. Just something to keep in mind

I know this video is a year old. Did you paint that black Fat boy tank. Would you sell that tank ? Where are you located
Are you talking about the gas tanks on the shelf or the black fat boy from the other videos?
@@braydonhopper The black fatboy tank that was on the bike. The paint looked pretty good.
@@tobinlakeguideservices that tank is still on the bike
@@braydonhopper Ok. I thought you mentioned painting it so I thought I’d see if you would part with it. I am looking for a 1996 tank with that paint.

They make special bolts for mounting drag pipes Taiwan Ted
Muffler t bolt set a lot cheaper then. A new exhaust
I know. I put new ones in before, but the slot is so wore out, I keep losing em.
carriage bolts work real good on exhaust
The thumbnail says shovelhead runs again. That's a evo in your video
Apparently you didn't watch the whole thing...
Blue loctite and safety glasses are your friend.
Fair enough lol
No they won’t work on your old bike , but they will sell you a 2010 or newer one.
Found that out the hard way lol
