A blackberry lemonade you say....interesting. I like it. That'll be interesting to try. I've not yet tried a flavored whiskey in a slushy mix. Let me know what you think of the palate on a that. I may need to do a video of that recipe if you like it alot. Let me know!

Love your videos!!! I have a Vevor machine. I just bought it on sale! Do you have any latte, coffee or mocha granita recipes? No alcohol. Thank you sooo much!!!

I thought the same thing, Jim. I too was surprised to see they were American. Not sure where Canadian came from but I had the same logic as you. Thanks for the kind words! Cheers to ya.

Hey Charlie great videos I have just a single 3L machine so would I just reduce the recipe ingredients by 75% for one mix and by 50% if wanted to make up 2 mixes ?

Hey there, Ed! Thanks for watching and for your question. You're spot on with reducing the ingredients by 25% for your 3L machine. As for combining two mixes, that's a creative idea! If you're mixing two flavors in one tank, you would indeed use half of each Margarita Man bottle. However, you should still adjust the water and alcohol proportionally by 25% less for each mix to maintain the right consistency and taste. This way, you'll get the most out of your slushy machine whether you're making one flavor or experimenting with combinations. Cheers!

@@MultiCasking Hey Charlie so I ordered some mix from margarita man I followed the recipe and reduced it by 25% as I'm using a VEVOR 3L machine I started with the hurricane it taste great but it doesn't get as thick as the ones I see you make it's slushes but still kinda watery machine goes down to -4 do you have any ideas how to adjust or add something to make it thicker?

@@MultiCasking This is what my mix was 2 cups margarita mix,10 cup water,2 cups alcohol

@@edmitchell9182 Hey Ed, Thanks for the update! Glad to hear you enjoyed the Hurricane mix. The issue with your slush being a bit watery is likely because -4 isn't cold enough. I always recommend starting with -7.1 for the best consistency.
Since you're using Margarita Man mix (a wise choice) let's take a closer look at your recipe. Your mix includes 2 cups of Margarita Man mix, 10 cups of water, and 2 cups of alcohol. Margarita Man mix is designed to have the right sugar content for slush machines, but when diluted, the overall sugar content can drop below the necessary level for proper slush. You can always use a refractometer to take guess work out of it. Here is the one we use:amzn.to/3z9uRV7
Here’s the breakdown: The Margarita Man mix is typically concentrated with a high sugar content. When you mix 2 cups of this with 10 cups of water and 2 cups of alcohol, the dilution might reduce the effective sugar concentration. To ensure you meet the 13% sugar requirement, you might need to adjust your ratios slightly.
First, try reducing the amount of water slightly. For instance, instead of 10 cups of water, try 8 cups. This should help maintain the necessary sugar concentration. So, your new mix would be 2 cups Margarita Man mix, 8 cups water, and 2 cups alcohol.
Give these adjustments a try, and you should see an improvement in your slush consistency. With al of the said, how did you like the flavor of the Hurricane?
      Cheers,
      Charlie

@@MultiCasking I like it the flavor of the hurricane it's different from what I'm used to, I do have a refractometer and the box was at 13% but I think the problem is my machine will only chill down to -4 I when I max it out, maybe because it's a smaller cheaper machine I don't see any other settings or a way to make it any colder I will probably end up having to make the slush then add the alcohol a cup at a time after dispensing thanks for the help and suggestions

How big are your tanks? Mine are 3gal each and that recipe is too large for each tank .

Hey there, Randy. First, welcome to the Slushy Family! Here is our machine: s.vevor.com/bfQdWs Each tank holds 4 gallons. So, for your machine, you would just reduce the amount by 25%! Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
