I just purchased the same machine, and I am enjoying all of your videos. They have been very helpful with getting use to the machine. Thank you for taking the time to do them.....
Very cool! A big CONGRATS to you and welcome to the club! Ya just gotta love our slushy machine. Cheers.
To get mine to freeze up faster I keep the alcohol in the freezer and put it once the base is already at a blended consistency.
That's a really smart idea, DG! I bet that does speed up the process. Cheers!
Good idea I'm going to try that, thanks
What! You guys gettin' fancy up in that bar! Such a cool rig love it!
Jean really stepped her game up with this one! Lol, I'll be shopping very intently next Christmas, lol! This will be tuff to top!
I've been looking around and debating for awhile on what machine to get and let me tell you man.... you've helped me made a choice to Start hahaha thank you for taking your time and giving us the 411 man! Greatly appreciate it I'm subscribing now 🍻
Glad I could help, Jesus, and welcome to the Slushy Family! Fair warning though...owning a slushy machine leads to facial pain due to smiling all the time lol! I just made my first ever ice cream in my vevor last night! look out for that video to come out shortly. Again, welcome to the family!
@MultiCasking thank you for the welcome! Keep the videos coming our way I'll be waiting for that ice cream video to come out... also how long did it take for the machine to arrive?
A real life FRAGILE box?!!!! 🤯😍
Indeed it was!!!
Dayum man, i love your videos 😉
Have you used any other Justin Vevor machines? Ice machines, blenders, or other size slushy machines? Thanks 😉
Thanks, Ventman! I have, yes. I have (and love) the Vevor popcorn machine! It's like having your own in-home movie theater concession stand! s.vevor.com/bfQi4e
Thank you for taking time to make theses videos! Do you wait until the hopper is completely empty to start another batch or can you add to an existing ?
Oh, I add all the time. I've found it fun to add new ingredients to it to change the flavor profile once it is low. That's how I"ve come up with some of my favorite recipes!
Very nice toy! I would play the whole day long with. :D
Us too...and we have lol.
Thanks Charlie! Mines just arrived today! After hammering at that crate for 20 minutes, I finally have it on my bar! And because the manuals didn't have anything about recipes I hit ole reliable CZcams & here your video was! I just want to confirm, you "don't" Have to order any special slushee syrups , I can just create my own mix like you did?
That's it exactly. You can buy syrups, but we just make our own. Our rule of thumb is that if it tastes good in the cup, it'll taste even better in a 4 gallon tank! So, we make a ton of different things. Cheers to ya!
@@MultiCasking Thanks you so much, hopefully I'll get a video up soon of it working! I appreciate yah!
This would be DANGEROUS in summer (and spring, and autumn or winter!)
Also, love the litttle christmas story reference!
This is soooo much fun to play around with. Out of 30 or so batches, I've only ever screwed one up and had to dump it out immediately. Jean was quick to add, "That's why I said to make a small sample before you make four gallons at once." She's rather wise lol. We've had 20 or more dynamite frozen concoctions!
I knew my bar was missing something! 😊
This is like the main roller coaster at a theme park! Soooo much fun!
What do you slush when not adding alcohol? Trying to find fun recipes to have on the weekends when
Kids are swimming
Funny you should ask...we just got a new shipment in from Margarita Man that will plan on revieing. The flavors we just got are designed to stand alone or add alcohol to. We've used their Blue Rasberry before for the kids but have never added alcohol to that one. So, it's normally Cherry, Blue Rasberry, or Coke for the kids. Or that is what they ask for most often. Here is the rasberry: amzn.to/45Y5BNt
Have you found any replacement parts online? I'm looking to get extra gaskets to have on hand but can't find them anywhere.
I haven't no. But, in my several conversations with them, I've asked that same question. They sent me 6 of each style gaskets for future repairs. But when those run out....that'll be panic time lol. You should call them and ask they do the same for you!
Does your machine cycle on and off every few minutes while doing it’s initial freezing?
If you mean the mixing arm, it does not, no. For the fan motor, I'll have to pay attention next weekend when we make our next recipe but I believe the cooling fan will kick on and it will stay on until it meets the programmed temp.
Is there a night mode function or do I just turn off the slush button but keep the mixing button on
That's a great question, Marco. No, there isn't a night mode. I just hit the "Cold Drink" button at night. Then, when I want a slushy then next day, I hit the "Slush" button and it only takes 10 minutes to be ready. It save a bit on the power bill too! Cheers to ya.
@@MultiCasking thank you so much. So I leave it on mixing and press the cold drink button
How long does it take from liquid to slushy? How many beverages can you make in one tank? Great video.
Hey there, Jerry. It all depends on the sugar content and the temperature of the ingredients you are using. If you don't have enough sugar, it won't slush. But, to answer your question, if everything is room temperature it can take anywhere from 40 mins to an hour to freeze properly. That is why I keep a bottle of rum in the freezer. If I am running late getting prepped for a gathering, I can throw my mix in at room temp and let the cold rum help speed the process along. Doing that will get me a slushy in about 30 mins. You can only make one beverage at a time in a single tank. Which is why I have a double tank machine!
Question can we use oil as lubricant for the swindles. I fell like mine are not spinning as smooth
You can but only food-grade lubricant though. There are a ton on Amazon. Here's one that Margarita Man recommends using for their machines according to their cleaning video: amzn.to/3S2LNCx
@@MultiCasking thank you
@@MultiCasking also can you put any juice in the machine. Like orange juice or mango juice I see mixed answers online
Does it make slush from carbonated soda also ? did you try or know about it. Please reply.
It does indeed, yes. We have used it to make Coke slushies.
Hey there again. I thought I'd let you know that I've recently released a few videos that show a visual answer to your question. Here is one of them for you: czcams.com/video/CodWWIhNvpo/video.htmlsi=qDE1d0WMhbpbWG8g
Just got mine, it’s single machine. However it’s not freezing the liquid , and it’s blowing cold air to the side. Any idea what can be happening ?
That's no good, Mark. Two things, one, check the vents have more than enough space to circulate the airflow. Two, when it doesn't slush properly, you may not have enough water in the mix. Water is what it freezes so when it doesn't have enough...you sometimes don't get proper slush.
How much does the unit weigh? How long does it take from pouring in liquid to being able to serve completely frozen drink?
This weighs in at 101 pounds. If I pour everything in at room temperature and turn on the "Slush" mode, we will have frozen drinks in about 35 mins. Once we make it, we turn it back to "Cold" mode overnight and when we are ready for frozen drinks the next day, we'll hit the "Slush" mode and have frozen drinks in about 10 mins. Lastly, this is $200 cheaper on Vevor's site vs. Amazon. I forgot to mention that in the video.
@@MultiCasking thanks for the reply! Very helpful.
Could you share the recipe for those? Sounds great!
Hey there, Melissa. We actually have some videos on there that will be coming out very soon. Each has the base of a gallon of County Time Lemonade, a gallon of the Kroger version of Crystal Lite's Strawberry Orange Banana, and a large 46 oz Pineapple can. For tank on the left (called Larkin's Lemonade) I add a cup (or two) of Strawberry Daiquiri mix, a 375ml bottle of 99 Bananas (any banana liqueur will work), and a 750ml bottle of Bacardi light rum. For the mango on the right (We're calling it the MultiCasking mango), we add to the base the 750ml bottle of Bacardi light rum, one gallon of tang, 375ml of Peachtree, and a 750ml bottle of Bacardi Mango Rum. The key to both is that if it is too fruity, add orange juice. This will add some citrus acid and tartness and ironically cuts down on the fruitiness. CHEERS!
@@MultiCasking this is amazing, thanks so much! I’ll definitely be looking out for more recipes.
We are looking to buy this for our girls to step up the lemonade stand game for travel soccer fundraising!

A big CONGRATS to you! Welcome to the slushy family!!!
I purchased the same machine.. Can you please tell me where you get the replacement parts? ( O Ring)
I've got you. I do need to make a video about this. I imagine you are asking about the Auger Shaft Seal since they are the most common gaskets to wear out. Here ya go: amzn.to/3w1nAFf
Just got ours yesterday it’s a little overwhelming. Where can I find recipes and to show how to actually use it step-by-step
CONGRATS, Susan! You'll enjoy the heck out of it! Actually, none exist. Or at least none that I have found after searching for many hours and days on the internet. That was actually half the reason I made this video. I wanted to see if there was an interest in it before I spent time making videos about it. We've made around 30 different concoctions so far. What type of drink are you most interested in?
@@MultiCasking I'm super interested in this type of content!! Please send me any recipes you have (: Have you tried doing Frozen Rose?
Here is a new one for you that I am making this weekend. It's an Orange Julius:
Here's the corrected recipe for a 2-gallon batch of Orange Julius slushy mix:
Ingredients:
8 cups (64 fl oz) of orange juice (freshly squeezed for best flavor)
4 cups (32 fl oz) of milk (you can use dairy or non-dairy milk like almond milk)
2 cups (16 oz) of granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
Instructions:
-In a large container or pitcher, combine the orange juice, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
-Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
-Pour the mixture into the Vevor slushy machine's mixing tank.
-Turn on the slushy machine and set it to freeze mode according to the manufacturer's instructions.
-Allow the mixture to churn and freeze until it reaches a slushy consistency.
-Once the desired consistency is reached, serve the Orange Julius slushy into cups or glasses.
-Optionally, you can garnish with a slice of orange or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
how long can you leave the frozen drink in the machine. Does it have to be cleaned out daily?
Hey there, Tim. Great question. As long as the contents stay cold or slushed, I leave the mix in the tank for no longer than 7 - 10 days. After that, if you aren't using a food-grad lubricant like this one: amzn.to/4c58Bul, than you don't want to go longer than 7 days. If you're using the oil on your gaskets, then then can take the extra days. Going beyond that can lead to torn gaskets. Best of luck on your slushies!
can you please show me how to set up a vevor slushy machine ? i just bought the VEVOR Commercial Slushy Machine, 24L/6.4Gal Two Bowls, but i dont know how to make it slushy. i use 1 cup of slush syrup strawberry and 4 cups of water and set slushy button. but it does not turn slushy, please help
Sure thing, Kim. Here are the settings that I use and what the buttons mean and do: czcams.com/video/2DWGmyxlg2Y/video.htmlsi=hBRJPUJCO1rpIsri
How many days can you leave the mix in there?
Hey, Dale. The longest we've gone is about 10 days...ish (weekend to weekend). But that is simply due to demand. These go quickly. I think you'd be just fine leaving these for 3 weeks or so though.
@@MultiCaskingdoes that mean you leave it in running or you just re freeze when you are ready
Hi. Do you have another platform where you share your recipes? I am new to this and would love to find more recipes. Thanks in advance!
Hey there, Tanya. No, but we will soon begin releasing videos of our different recipes. In fact, we will have one come out this coming Saturday. Cheers 🍻
Do you have a recipe for a Redbull/ vodka Slushy?
I don't but now I need one! 🤯
Is this good for an outside event?
We've only had it outside once, and it did exceptionally well. Vevor says this machine will struggle in anything over 100° outdoors. But I think that's an obvious temperature mark for frozen drinks to struggle to stay frozen.
Do you add water to it ??
Hey there, Randy. No, we don't add just plain water to it. For our base ingredients, the lemonade and the generic Crystal Lite both provide the mixture with two full gallons of flavored water. However, there is nothing saying you can't add water should you feel the flavor needs diluted! Or, you can always just keep one tank full with ice cold water full time.
Just got mine, but its not making slush. :( what do I do ?
I start out at -7.0 and then back it down to -6.5 once it slushes. You can try adding sugar to get to the necessary 13% content or, to jump start the process, try using ingredients that are already cold. Let us know what the solution ends up being!
According to the website, this machine can't be used with alcohol. Have you had any issues with using alcohol in it? Does it freeze very well if there is alcohol in it?
This works beautifully with alcohol. In fact, we use it for alcohol beverages 98% of the time. My go to setting for our mixed slushies is -7.1 and once it is slushed, I bump the temp up to -6.5 to keep a nice slush consistency.
@MultiCasking Thanks for the response. I wonder why they state it cannot be used with alcohol?
Thanks for sharing. I had trouble getting mine to slush and watching your videos and reading comments have helped me alot
cool
Thank ya much! We just made a new batch this afternoon in fact.
Thank you for the videos, my wife is sick of me watching them. On the base recipe…is it
1-G Country Time
1-46oz Pineapple
1-G Strawberry Orange Banana cool-Aid
And add the 1-2C Strawberry daiquiri mix for one drink
OR add
1-fifth of Peach liquor
1-G Tang?
Hey there, Brice! First, tell your wife a hearty THANK YOU from us. My base is 1-G of County Time, 1-G of Tang, 1-G of the S.O.B. Crystal Lite mix (4 packages), & 1 - 46oz Pineapple. Then you can morph the taste by going with whatever, really. I used Peach Tree and rum in one and Daquiri mix and rum in the other. Later, I added a 750ml of Baquardi Mango Rum to the slushy in the right side tank and that really cranked up the flavor! I hope this helps you out. Cheers, Brice!
What is this exact vector machine is this
This is the X-300 Vevor Slushy Machine, Isiah. s.vevor.com/bfQdWs
Any idea why VEVOR is adamant on their website the machines won't freeze with alcohol?
Great question. I believe they are speaking about putting only alcohol in the tank. I take that as they want to ensure the user realizes sugar must be present.
These Chinese machines have small compressors. Freezing any sugary liquid is a challenge to freeze. Adding alcohol makes it near impossible to bring g it to a true slushie consistency. Alcohol is an anti freeze. Even the big commercial batch freezers struggle to make adult slushies and frozen treats!
Can you do this without the margarita mix?
Certainly, Sam. You can make any drink you'd like in this provided it has 13% sugar content. Does that answer your question?
How long does it take to make a batch??
For this drink, mixing the ingredients and putting them into the tank usually takes 10 minutes or so.
@MultiCasking hmmm I wonder if I can use it to make Italian Ice. Like maybe put it in the freezer to freeze further after it comes out of the machine. . .bcz I like the consistency
how much do you charge for these?

Can you pour a 2 liter Coke in it & will it slush & taste like a slush Coke
Indeed it will, Donnie! I have done that many times. We'll I've done it as a Jack & Coke slushy. Just a quick tip, don't use Diet Coke, it won't slush.
Hey there, Donnie. I made this video for you to see how well Coke slushes:czcams.com/video/CodWWIhNvpo/video.htmlsi=zGgOdcnHe0i8HN-D
Can’t seem to get my alcohol drinks to freeze all the way. Idk how to get the measurements correct. I don’t wanna add so much water it tastes gross
If it isn't freezing for you, don't add plain water. You just need to add a cup of sugar at a time. That will bump up your sugar ratio and allow it to freeze more aptly. Adding water reduces your sugar ratio and will keep it from freezing properly. The mixture needs to be 13% sugar in order to slush properly. Just add a cup of sugar to a 1/4 gallon of water and stir it up. Then place it into the machine and wait 10-15 mins to mix thoroughly in the tank. If it is both still blinking and not freezing like you like, repeat the process until it is where you like it. Cheers, Randy!
@@MultiCasking Thank you! Our sugar percent has been about 20% so we’re trying to just find the right way to make it so it does freeze correctly.
My machine freezes up and then stops working. Is there something wrong with my mix ?
Hey there, Dilly. First, Welcome to the Slushy Family! Secondly, probably not. It's likely a combination of things. You likely just have the temp set too low. What do you have it set at? Also, make sure the vents all free from obstructions on the sides and back. Lastly, are these virgin drinks? The lack of alcohol does make slushies freeze at higher temps.
@@MultiCasking thanks for replying. I currently have it set to 7 the highest it goes up to is 15 so about mid way. It’s set up similar to yours vents free and then back to a wall and these are virgin drinks.
Is that machine reliable? Have you ran into any problems with this machine?
Hey there, Daniel. Great question. My only issue has been two gaskets tore on me. The first time it took 3 weeks for the replacement to arrive. The second time it took 5 weeks and they sent 6 back ups. Since then, I've zero issues. That was a year ago or so. So, yeah, very reliable.
@@MultiCaskingI just got mine today for my tavern. I mixed margarita mix along with water and tequila and it would not freeze. Any tips on how I can get it to freeze. I had it set to -2 degrees and it got cold it just didn’t freeze
At the end of the video we have about 13% sugar in the tank
The only thing better than a one-tank slushy machine is a two-tank slushy machines!
I followed your mango recipe and its not slushing
how can I fix it , I don't want to waste product
Hey there, Angel. Let's see if we can't get this fixed for you.
So, let's go over a few settings. Do you have it set to negative 7 (-7)? Some folks have had this issue but didn't realize the temp should be in the negatives with their Vevor machine. Secondly, if you do have the temp set correctly, it may not have enough sugar content to properly freeze. Have you tried adding an extra cup of sugar? I don't add straight sugar, but from time to time, I will throw in an extra few scoops of Countrytime to boost the sugar content. Lastly, check the vents to ensure they are not blocked and have free flowing air. Sometimes, if the vents are blocked, the chilling arm will not chill properly.
Let me know! -Charlie
@@MultiCasking appreciate your response going to try again & get back to u !
Tried again today using snappy syrups and it slushed but as soon as I added a couple cups of rum it got all watery .. for some reason my machine won’t go under -1.4
Almond Joy please.
Vodka
Chocolate sauce
Almond liqueur
Coconut Rum
Coconut milk
That's a great idea, Hue! Plus, it sounds delicious.
