General Cinemas Feature Presentation Trailer

- As a youth, no movie was complete without the familiar swish of the jazz brushes from the General Cinemas "Feature Presentation" trailer.
I found the audio online and cleaned it up, then recreated the logo and animation.

Thanks so much posting this! I just found your video via another of the same and I feel so happy to know there are at least two of these out there now. The good old days, when something this simple was still so effective at conjuring up excitement and anticipation!!! It still DOES too, even without a movie after it!

Kari - Kari's Line Dancing this is the one I remember when I was a kid. Seeing and hearing this before the movie started was part of the magic of the experience of watching a movie in my mind. I can remember walking home from school and singing the harpsichord and hi hat parts, remember what a great time it was going to the movies.

I seem to remember there was one version where the projectors would turn into dots and feed out to the right like the lettering?

This kinda looks like a fake remake. If this is the real thing, you did an outstanding job with the restoration and remastering.
Matthew Weatherford No. The video was new - made from scratch along with me remastering the audio best I could get it.
@@kknopp01 Ah man! Well, at least the original isn't missing, it's just unrestored.
Audio is leading the video, less than other CZcams versions, but still here by 8-12 frames.
