Just like all old bikes, Yamaha Rx 100 also has a prob of headlight not being powerful. this video is about how i modified my headlight to solve this prob.

I am big fan of RX100
I am of the opinion that RX100 is best in it's stock condition.
I have a 1995 RX100.
I am trying to keep it in as original condition as possible.
U are a genuine knowledged person ,I have met till date about RX100 bike.
Pls help me to get good acceleration and torque in my RX100.
I am not a top speed Rider.
Also please guide me about drive and driven sprockets changing number of teeth to get better torque and acceleration.

+Humanoid if you want better torque and acceleration the go for bigger rear sprocket ....keep the driving sprocket ( small ) same ....change the rear one.

the h4 bulb connector ....that is the only thing you need to change in case of wiring.

you don't need to use avangers headlight you can simply replace the beam of the stock headlight to Mazda beam 146mm from autpal then you can add h4 LED if you have 5amp battery or just install h4 halogen bulb problem solve no need to buy full headlight.

Sorry Brother, I am a noob and I don't understand a few things in this video.
1. Is the battery 6v or 12v?
2. At 1:14, you mentioned 'drill and tap'. Why do we need to do that? Aren't there existing holes?
3. In some 2 stroke bike threads, I read that we may have to wind the coil. Is it necessary to achieve what we want?
1) battery is 12v
2) there are existing holes there, but they are of small diameter than required for M8*1.25 bolt.
3) can you send me link about this. ill go through it once, so that i can tell you my opinion.

back to the point, if you already changed bulb then it'll be most probably one of two reasons
1) your neutral switch is defective and not working
2) wiring problem ( broken wire)
to check if your switch is faulty or not, check continuity between wire going to neutral switch (sky blue colour) and ground while bike is in neutral. if you get continuity then switch is ok and if not, this is your culprit.
Why you can't use RD headlight it's good for night ride
coz, once you convert the bulb type to h4 ....you have hell lot of options to choose from (in bulbs led, halogen, HID )
the rd 350 headlight is not H4 type ....thats y

you can fit any tire on which is fits on 18 inches rim. but broad tires hits under the seat on speed breakers, more weight or else.
Broad tires will hit the swingarm ....just don't go for a tyre with taller side wall .....coz then you'll not be able to get it on main stand
