Thanks Joshua! I really only do it that way to just try and give people an idea of how the darts grip and balance feel, I am not that bothered about hitting flashy scores as thats not really going to tell anyone anything useful, but if I hit anything good then its a bonus I guess lol

Thanks Mike, they felt good to throw, no 180's yet but my first throw yesterday with them I thought I had one, last dart was just above the wire though. Its not the kind of shape I usually like but something seems to work right with them :)

Thanks for the great review Darren. Very similar scallop placement to the Sky Pro Model 1s, but a bit more chunky and a ton more grippy. I would have gone for a pair of these if I didn't order a set of custom Sky Pro darts. Cheers 👍

I emailed Red Dragon about Peter Wrights new darts that he’s been using and they said currently they are prototypes he is trying out and they may produce them for the general public in the future. Cant wait. Hopefully they do
Yeah I hope so too, looks a very interesting dart. Problem I have seen other the years though, and probably not so much Red Dragons fault, but they often bring out a dart and then the player changes something and then they no longer make it. They did it with the first Peter Wright Pl15 I think it was, first one was shorter and was great then they brought a longer version out and the first one was discontinued. They did the same with Andrew Gildings first set and a few other players too. But I guess plenty of brands so the same thing, like Target stopped a lot of models that people were very fond of.
Glad I stumbled across this..I'm just an avg leftie Devon Super league player and had been using Jamie Lewis 23g Red Dragon darts for a few years, also with a pronounced grip but this had worn away a bit over the last couple of years. Decided I wanted a change and was using these for a few games towards the end of the season. I found my optimum grip lay between the 'scalloped' sections (not ideal) and were fairly unforgiving. Will have to change my grip/ throw just a tiny bit from what I've been used to, if I'm to continue with these tbh , but they're not far away. I also prefer ultra -short 27 mm shafts as opposed to the short 36 mm ones which prob had an effect.Certainly not gonna give up on them, but a work in practice.
The Lewis darts were always a very popular one with Darts Nutz forum members, if you like grippy darts though I think these Extreme are a nice alternative, glad the review was useful 😊👍

That's the general shape of dart that I like. You got a quite a few treble 20s with them Darren.
If you like that style and a decent grip I would say get a set, price is still fairly reasonable too compared to the way things have been increasing of late. They worked well for me, not sure why as its not normally my style of dart :)
I may return a set of darts I ordered yesterday, so I can grab there 😅 Mrs won’t be happy it’s happened again haha. Enjoyed this as always Darren 👍🏻

Suitable name for this set :) if you ignore the scallops, it's a basic torpedo shaped dart.
Great review. I like the idea of the style of these, seems like they would group well. Enjoy the slo-mo part to see them flying, interesting to see how much movement there is. Do you know of a dart you’ve reviewed that had very low movement thru the air?

I was looking for new darts & thinking about the Shot Warrior Kapenes 🤔 I’ve never thrown this style of barrel before but I think they look great 👍🏻 maybe it’s the all black colour, nice ??

Thanks Vic! I feel the grip helps me for sure, lately I seem to be getting more what I call floppy arm throws lol just feels like there is nothing there at times and then next throw I sometimes over compensate and it goes too high lol

Interesting shape (2 scallops, sharktooth grip) and a reasonable price...probably gonna pick ´em up sometime in the near future. Does anybody know what rehab clinic treats " habitual dartbuyeristis"???😁
