I rode it today, it was indescribable. Everyone needs to experience the flight of passage at least once in life.
Scottie2950 i went on it yesterday im afraid of hights but SCREW HIGHTS the ride was the most spectacular thing ive ever seen
Scottie2950 the ride needs to be longer
was it scary?? or is it more like Soarin? Im so scared to do it!
aliyaah85 it’s more like simulator where it dives and sprays you with water
Bryce Wakefield ok thank you! I'm just scared that it might be too scary cause some simulators are very scary, while others like Soarin are fine for me so I dont know
This is by far the best ride I’ve ever been on. I didn’t expect it to be my favorite ride out of all of the park either. Truly an amazing experience like no other
As someone who has ridden the ride myself I can tell you it is a beyond breathtaking experience. The seat even simulates the breathing of the banshee by slightly compressing your legs every now and then.
This looks incredible, the amount of detail inside the entire area is beautiful and very impressive
it’s really fun i went on it yesterday
Yeah I’ve don’t it like 7 times
Yeah it is really fun
Don’t listen to them as they say “it’s really fun” lol. That ride was absolutely mesmerizing. It’s the best ride I have ever been on in my entire life! I was in tears throughout the ride. It Was amazing.
Is it scary? Or have any drops?
The queue is so intricately themed! I cant wait to see it for myself and go on the ride! Disney hit a home run!
By buster Posey on a full count in the 9th inning for the giants
I have not watched Avatar, but these previews of the land and ride queue look very good. Pretty sure that having an inside queue will be nice during the hot days.
Only pretty sure?
Ok but this is amazing! The queue outside was absolutely beautiful, the tress roots wrapping around the bridges and walkways and the inside was awesome as well! This seems like a queue that I wouldn't mind waiting in for a while. There's some rides that don't have anything to look at but this one! Whoa!! Can't wait to go some time in the future!
Christopher Lara Yeah, Disney's queues are traditionally the best and a big part of the experience. It seems like Universal understands this and catching up with the Harry Potter queues.
Christopher Lara I agree, but Disney dosen't quite catch up on the level of Universal when it comes to the ride or coaster itself...
I think Disney pays more attention to details on a ride and the concepts of ride than putting screens in every single one of their rides like universal. I love Disney and I've only been to universal studios Hollywood but i loved it. They both are really good companies and do what they do amazingly.
Christopher Lara Universal is phasing away from screens with Nintendo Land.
Disney is utilizing screens for all of their rides too
Christopher Lara Disney's next big attractions are going to have screens. unfortunately that is the future. its cheaper and easier. Disney downsized mine train multiple times before it opened. that ride was supposed to be three times longer. so no, Disney doesn't typically use screens but they downsize and cheap out on attractions. radiator springs racers is probably the last great ride Disney will ever make, especially in the US.
i went here two years ago bruh i literally screamed so loud
Same. I took my VR glasses off sooo many times 😭 i thought it was real! I even felt water!!!!
I went when I was like 8 I thought if I got off the bike I would die because it felt like I was actually in the air
me too 😭😭😭 it was me seeing the other people that got me
same but yesterday 😭🤌
I was there last year and I was in the queue for about two hours.
It was worth every single second! What a sick experience!
This looks incredible! It always baffles and frustrates me to see people staring down at their phones the whole time. It would be like going to Hawaii and choosing to stay at the airport watching the TV on the wall the whole time you were there
Squid SQuiddly but these aren't people. these are the theme park blogger elite. they live their lives for page views and "likes" and in return they get invited to the previews.
Robert Joyce I see. That makes sense
Or you know, they want to record the moment they were the first to be on flight of passage, a revolutionary ride for the future of Disney. But no, let's just call them assholes for recording something important to them.
@@Jonkeeb I think she meant people in general who use their phones texting people because they are bored in such amazing queues not the ones recording... dont get so triggered.
@@uncommongaming1490 Let's say you were in this queue, you would be stuck in the same spot for about 10 minutes of the same thing, of course you would get bored, and play on your phone. No matter what a queue will get boring after a few minutes
I've always dreamed of visiting Pandora ever since the movie came out. Now I can and that's pretty cool
It's 2021 and I still come back to this video. This ride truly is unlike anything you've ever experienced. From the details in the lineup to the ride itself, it's all crafted so beautifully. I waited over two hours in line to experience it and it was 100% worth it.
What's amazing is that by the actual year 2150s, all of this tech is going to look exactly like how we view 1950s science fiction technology today. It's going to look completely different than anything we could've imagined.
Crazy.
Yeah, we think it's cool right now, and our great grandchildren will look back at these movies and be like "Wait, what, they seriously thought that THAT would be a thing?"
1950s sci fiction became 2001 science fact.
You know how the future is gonna be? Dumbass.
Samuel Chung that made no sense whatsoever
...sitting here patiently waiting for a ride pov... waiting...
Alexandra Paige lol we probably won't get one until it opens to the public and someone does it against the rules
Rory The Boss true. I'll be waiting tho...
Alexandra Paige same. I was really excited when I finally found one for race through New York
Alexandra Paige it's not possible. When you ride u need to it everything in a storage bin
Benjamen Drummond anything is possible if you believe hard enough
It’s amazing! I went the day after the opening and the queues were incredible too long but that worth it, really! The most incredible 3D simulator, even much more than Harry Potter’s or Transformers’ in Universal. You really feel like you are flying riding on the that creature over the Pandora world. I loved it!!! ❤️
The ocean line of Pandora is beautiful and wondrous. We'll be seeing that in the next movie soon if you have seen the teaser trailer.
The ride is absolutely incredible, breathtaking, I don't know how they do it, I can't stress enough that you MUST go on this ride!!!
This ride is simply awesome!!! The process of getting to the actual ride was a little long, but trust me it's well worth the wait. It was an experience that I will never forget. It gives the very real sensation of flight through avatar land, with all the unimaginable scenery and sensations. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! To ride this ride is worth the price of admission alone.
yes they added single Rider line to this ride I'm so happy
but itll probably still be 45 min wait😂
chrisgoes bleh Still better than 3 hours lol
gissneric you can get fast passes just have to wait until opening, you won't be able to make dinner reservations at the restaurants or fastpasses in pandora until 12am opening day
Dirt to Sky Films - Aaron Gordon We made reservations early about In April and the ride would not open till the 27th
6 hours? thats ridiculous. i might as well bring a tent and survival kit in line.
That queue looks absolutely immesive and incredible. The few tweets I've read thus far, suggest the ride is awesome. :-)
thedrumman64 I just read the Disney is expecting the queue to be 6 hour long.... f**k!
Ricky Marasigan Not a big deal man if you're at the front. :-)
Automatically get the fast pass for this.
hi this looks cool
LMAO THEY JUST CUT HIM OFF LIKE ITS ALL GOOD 10:08
Me and my daughter waited for 2 hrs to get into the ride but totally worth it!! Undoubtedly the best ride.. I feel like going everyday!!
even though this ride doesn’t move a ton, you still get hella g’s cause it tricks your mind. you get those butterfly feelings!
The line is really long but, on the Disney app they have a game for you too play while there, you look for stuff in your area, it is super cool (it is also in magic kingdom) pretty much works for every long ride
A couldn't even begin to imagine how badass a tron world would have been
OH HELL yes! I'd love to see a TRON coaster in the states at least... but likely never happen.
Tron coaster confirmed in tommorrow land in magic kingdom
Too bad they basically killed it... I love Tron and I was at Walt Disney and Disneyland right after Legacy came out. Everything was Tron themed in California Adventure and they had performances with lasers and a huge dance party and a whole ride. It was incredible and the Tron universe was so interesting, I really hope they bring it all back someday. They could do so many insanely cool things.
Very soon in Walt Disney world
imtigger2 Huh?? How you feel about this comment now you little bitch?
i went on this ride this weekend and all i have to say is, wow. best ride i have ever been on. in the end that wall in front of the bike looking things comes up, and its a huge screen and its the craziest thing you will ever do. believe me. that is incredible
I went on that ride and it was the BEST ride I've ever went on. I SO recommend this ride. Even though the line is like 2 hours. It's worth it
I think it may be the best ride I have ever been on at a theme park. It was so incredibly imersive. I was speachless after going on that ride. You literally feel like you are riding throuhg pandora. And there are 4d effects that go with it too. Absolutly amazing😍
i just went on this ride last saturday. i can’t even explain to you guys how this virtual ride plays with your mind. everything feels so real you can feel the dips. i really recommend this ride to anyone who goes to animal kingdom
My mom kept saying for 5 years we needed to go on the Banshee ride at the Animal Kingdom. We were on it yesterday!
I just rode this today, best ride I have ever been on. NOTHING compares to it. You can feel the banshee breathing as you fly, the wind on your face and the mist from the water. It truly feels like your flying and it's so smooth. I was blown away, what an amazing ride, definitely check it out if you can!
The line for this ride looks amazing. Very detailed
This ride is one of the best than others I've ever been on! Flying on a banshee is truly fun and amazing! When lean forward in the recliner and your DNA is connected with a Na'vi avatar of your own you'll feel it tickling against your stomach till the scanning is complete. Then the fun begins. I loved it as I went on the ride yesterday afternoon.
The way Disney has changed and improved is insane
"Improved" meaning no more mechanical rides. And super freaking expensive... not making it worth the trip?
Yea, Definitely changed.
I’m 55 and have been to many theme parks and ridden many rides over the years and this is probably the best ride I’ve ever done.
I may not like avatar but holy shit this is. Unbelievable.
Me too!
Miranda Cancelosi we've come a long way from it's a small world :)
Miranda Cancelosi Yeah! I think Disney really outdid this one! And did you see it at night? Absolutely gorgeous! :D
I know right..
Miranda Cancelosi right? I'm not a big fan of avatar either but this looks outstanding
As someone who has been on this...can confirm the experience it is lit as hell
ikr
"And, supervise your children" cracked me up. How would they advise that when people are in a VR experience?
Raesling Undomiel this is not VR.
What is it then?
It's actually a simulator plus thrill ride combo. If you don't like the turns and drops of a roller coaster, don't go this ride. If you like the feeling of flight and the thrill, this is for you.
Raesling Undomiel
Like Soarin'Around The World but MUCH more immersive...
So you can watch the others during the ride?
it’s so awesome how they make the waiting lines so detailed. it feels just like the movie, like you’re going from the beautiful nature in the avatar world, to the science lab! and i absolutely love how they make the guides to the rides a storyline. disney world is the best.
thats a really long queue
Dankrupt But the entire thing looks pretty damn cool.
just like the movie hahaha
it needs one this ride seems like it will have twice as long of a line as soaring
hi
Orcamato lol that tripped me out!!
The ride is definitely the best ride in the USA! Unbelievable... have to experience it yourself
I rode this ride 2 times because of the amount of detail they put in. It felt like you were really a avatar and you were flying. My friend rode it at the last minute and she told us that if she hadn't rode this she would have regreted it so much.
I only rode it once I regret it I was just here yesterday
Same I rode it two times!!! I just got out of Animal Kingdom just now. Totally worth it for just that ride!!!
This ride is full immersion. I stopped thinking how the ride worked and just enjoyed it. It brought tears to my eyes during the ride and at the end when you suddenly wake up...and I don’t cry ever.
This ride was honestly the best ride i have ever went on in my whole life, However the line was very long! But it was worth the wait, It is basically a simulator ride, Your on a chair, And the the screen is moving and it really feels like your riding a dragon, Like when it drops, Your seat Tilts and there’s a fan, I want to go back on it again, I was watching this video while waiting in line btw 😂
waited 4 hours in line to ride this and it was time well spent the line itself is amazing and breathtaking, i was obsessed with avatar when i was younger made me feel like i was in the movie riding one absolutely amazing
5:15 Holy crap, i cant be the only one tripping out about that
Is it cgi or a animatronic
IM BLUE its practical effects
When I seen it irl I was freaked too lmao
мιитєє lєαfєє o
мιитєє lєαfєє same
This ride was indescribable. I loved it so much and I am for sure going back. Love you disney❤️
This has quickly become one of my favorite Disney rides. It is just what they needed to keep up with the newer, more innovative Universal rides. I can hardly wait to experience it again.
Hi
I love that you slow down and we see everything not just for a second but a moment to remember and in great detail well done
I typically hate interactive lines, and this isnt one, but I think it's a super cool and immersive line.
I like them better than normal lines as they often have AC or fan and misters and they give you something to do when your phone dies. I do prefer getting on the damn ride asap though XD
Riding this was the best thing ever, I rode it about 4 months ago, but it was the best ride, it was beautiful and almost felt like you were actually there.
Who watched this while in the lines of this ride to see what it is like?
I went on this ride June 9th. We had to wake up at 6;30 and wait for the actual park to open. There were HUNDREDS of people already lined up. Luckily when the guards lead us the way, I maneuvered to the front of the line, my family behind me. We were on the first ride. It's truly amazing. Especially because you can feel the banshee breathing as the ride goes on.
Dear God, it's beautiful.
This ride was so worth the 2 hour wait! I can’t wait to go back! Love Disney ❤️
I remember going on this ride 2 years ago and it was amazing! I’ve seen any of these movies before so I had no idea what would happen and my parents and I waited 2 hours for it and it was so worth it! This was definitely one of the best rides because it feels like you actually in it and I screamed a lot because of that, it was so good and I loved, I definitely recommend to anyone who is going to Walt Disney World! :)
The Pandora in the Disney theme park is incredible
I went on that ride and I had a fast pass and it was my favorite ride I had ever been on!
it’s absolutely amazing. like when your on the bike, they make it to where your feeling the dragon “breathe”, and you smell the ocean and a lot more. it’s so cool
I just got back from Disney World and I can easily say that this is the best ride at DW. You ARE in Pandora.
I love the beginning. It made me scared the first time I went on the ride, all of the air in my face, and when I started out on the chairs, I was sooooooo scared, I cried because my mother wasn’t next to me, but now I am planning on going on it as much as I can.
The Avatar animatronic looks incredible! I'm really looking forward to this!
BEST RIDE EVER!!!!! We waited abt 2 hours but it was 100% worth the wait!! My 6 year old brother rode it and loved it!!! It feels like u r flying. Definitely recommend going on it. You’ll have no regrets
I went on this ride without taking a pill, I hated it! It was my fault that I didnt bring pills, but it was also kinda fun! If u get sick on these types of rides make sure to take a pill to help you with it! ❤️🙏🏻✨
Yesss! 🙏 Always be prepared and have them xanys
Pills for what? Sorry im confused 😅
totally worth the wait. the queue decorations are so cool too. epic ride and would not recommend missing it.
As a laboratory technician I love seeing how entertainment interprets what they think we do.
I thought the same thing. LOL
I once went on this ride it was the best experience you can feel the breathing on you’re legs of the dragon and me and my dad loved it I would love to go in this ride again
same here one of the best rides at Disney
I just rode this one today lol, it was beautiful 😍
The wait time for this is insane but it was so good and amazing, watching this made me cry. I really miss this experience 😢💖
Is it just me or does it seem like the ambient sounds are loud as hell in every single Avatar attraction?
When there are hundreds of people that wait in line talking, it won't feel as loud
This is so true. For some reason the lines that have these ambient sounds playing, people seem to actually shut the fuck up so they can listen to the sounds.
coastertron in the "woods" area they had some speakers with some LOUD ASS crickets or whatever omg
coastertron is it me or is this land like 10 years irrelevant
@@TheDesmo54 no 5 more avatar movies are coming
Most underrrated ride of all time
I hope somebody will be able to film the actual ride as I will never experience it myself, but I'm curious.
TheStone once it opens to the public, there will be pov if the ride
I did this ride 2 weeks ago on our visit from UK, by far the best ride ever!
This looks incredible I need to go to this asap
the ride was terrifying but the part before u go on is so detailed and I liked how it would spray like air on u and stuff
When you're so early the HD hasn't loaded yet...
Part of this ride as with all Disney rides is the story and immersion. Yes the Que is long but I have been there first hand with my family to check it out. The line area is amazing and you get lost in the items around you. When ever a ride first opens you are guaranteed there is going to be a wait. But the ride is only part of the thrill with this amount of visuals and hands on areas throughout the que to the ride.
omg omg omg can't wait!!!! thanks guys!!!!
My friend and I waited 180 minutes to ride this ride and it was TOTALLY worth it! The ride is so unbelievably amazing, I can't even put into words how much I loved it. The scents it released and the graphics they displayed were incredible.
LOL! The preshow video restarted halfway through! Guess that's why they have these previews. 😂
I think they switched it to a slightly altered version of it to test it out
It seems like the second version, when they "restarted" the room, is meant to be a faster version of the pre-show. My guess is that the first longer version is meant for busy times, so that they can pass a bit more time while guests are waiting to board. The second version is probably for slow times, like if there's a parade or River of Lights is running, because you always have some guests who take advantage of the parades and shows as an opportunity to get on the popular rides, and they can get those guests on the ride faster.
potterfandf I think it would be the other way around
Luke P the video restarted because new people where coming in.
I went there with fast passes and it was the best thing ever. It was beautiful and fun, it was so fun, we went there 3 extra times. Best ride ever...
I love it but I have to admit I was disappointed that you don't actually sit on a banshee!!!
Disney Diva you and me both!
Disney Diva if only
NuHorizons no but the build up for this ride has always been riding an actual banshee and feeling it breathe while you were on it. the ride has devolved since it was announced, and it wouldn't be so upsetting if that wasn't exactly what they did with mine train. it got reduced in size like 4 times and it ended up being a fraction of what it was supposed to be.
Rode this today during an Annual Passholder preview. The grips around your legs move back and forth as if you are on an animal that is breathing. Not the focal point of the ride by any means but it was a nice added feature.
Gosh it's like you were expecting to feel a creature breathing beneath you or someth- oh wait...
i waited 2 hours for this ride, but i didnt regret it AT ALL. It felt so real!! It was beautifully made, even the line made us excited to go on. Everyone needs to try this ATLEAST once in there life.
Complicated..but hopefully it will flow smoothly.
I went here last year!! It was the best ride ever! The line was extremely long and took about 3 hours for me but hey it’s worth the wait!
this seems like such an amazing ride and I would so go on it but I’m not waiting 6 hours 💀💀
That's why I'm never going to Disney. Admissions, souvenirs, and food prices are double most theme parks, wait times are usually triple or quadruple most parks, and the crowds are enormous and an excellent breeding ground for viruses and nasty germs. No thanks. Some of the rides are cool but they're not worth dealing with all of that IMO.
Went this weekend and i must say, this is the best ride out of all the parks. Well worth the wait!
Random question are the seats real tight/ do the accommodate larger people? Or will this be like Harry Potter?
JediKris2 sadly they will not accommodate larger people. that's what the boat ride is for. these are similar vehicles to the tron ride in Shanghai Disneyland.
JediKris2 they accommodate large people if you had looked closely at the video you would have seen the blonde lady who was large
JediKris2 - during cast member previews some people couldn't ride bc of the chair backs not clicking into place bc of weight around the middle
Oh man. Harry Potter was intense. I’ve lost 100 pounds since I went last August but on Forbidden Journey I had to sit in outer seats and Gringotts (rows 3 and 6 are for taller folks) on the back row. I was still really uncomfortable but wasn’t about to miss those rides. Disney is usually better about generous seating but I’m curious about how this will ride when I go in a couple weeks.
Went today with my family and we were blown away. Like I seriously can’t describe the experience I felt. What a breathtaking ride. Then to actually smell the scents of the ocean and grass!! It was beautiful. Like I wanted to cry after riding it. 😂
In June the line length got up to 6 HOURS.
Glad i j u st went it is 3 hours
Had a 7:45 - 8:45pm fast pass for tonight (August 17) for Flight of Passage. Got to our fast pass around 8:12p. Standby line was still crazy long, but we got on in less than 10 minutes. All I have to say is WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! It's worth the trip back to Disney for that alone.
REALLY wish you would stop playing music over the audio of your videos. We'd all like to hear the sounds of the park!
amazing ride, way worth the wait. it is a very long queue but it’s worth waiting for. even my mum who has motion sickness and is sick on every ride loved it.
Here's something that didn't hit me until just now:
Isn't Pandora's atmosphere poisonous to humans? Is there some explanation as to how guests can "breath in Pandora's atmosphere", because it's a bit of a major detail to overlook.
@TIG5574 whos cameron is it disneys girlfriend
There are hundreds of "plants" - ask a random cast member in the area, they were trained to be "tour guides" - that are in the entire land, that absorb the toxic atmosphere and spit back out what humans can breathe, making it acceptable for the humans to walk around. It was NOT overlooked, don't you worry.
I absolutely love Avatar! Pandora is so magic & has become my most favorite land of Animal Kingdom! I do have to say though, I went to Epcot today & that is my favorite theme park of Disney so far, it’s so educational. I hope you have a fun time experiencing all of these magic rides of Disney!
This certainly looks like a better simulator ride than that disaster Race through New York *cringe*
They're both technically the same ride although I can tell that this will be hell of a lot better. Race through New York is a CZcams Poop put in a ride, no even CZcams Poops are funnier than that!
Flop? Lol this is a pretty new and unique ride system.
Exactly, similar technology in Race through New York is used in Busch Gardens and that ride opened years before Fallon
Stay stroking your wand, Universal fanboi
I've been seeing reviews on Twitter, almost nothing but positive things.
The line went really fast waited 2.5 hours and didn't seem but like 1.5. Wasn't a lot of standing still, the line moved quickly. The ride itself was one of the coolest things I have done ever. I was nearly speachless after.
To make it more immersive they should pump the exhibit full of nitrogen and hydrogen and other toxic gasses so the people have to wear the same mask like they do in the movie..don't remove that mask little johnny
Alexander Walker lmao
This is actually funny, but, Pandora's atmosphere DOES have oxygen, so they wouldn't need to pump out the oxygen.
(Alright, bring out the pitchforks!)
potterfandf did you watch the movie at all???
Yes, it's stated that Pandora's atmosphere is merely TOXIC to humans. Toxic air doesn't mean no oxygen. If you watched the movie, you would see that Jake crawls around towards the end for a good minute before he falls unconscious when he's exposed to Pandora's atmosphere without a mask. Hell, Quaritch storms outside without a mask to shoot at 'the gang' when they're escaping the main compound, and he was fine. If there was no oxygen on Pandora, Quaritch and Jake both should of fell unconscious within mere seconds, but when Quaritch is exposed to Pandora's atmosphere for nearly 40 seconds, he remains not only conscious but on edge, and likely could of gone a bit longer without a mask.
Alexander Walker they will never do that you can kill someone like that duh
This is honestly the most immersed I have ever felt on a ride. It might've been that it was two am and I was tired but I really felt like I was there. The wind. The water. The smells the movement. The breathing. The stunning visuals. Seriously even if you don't like avatar give this a go. It's so worth the wait
Don't the leak photos show the rider on the back of an animatronic banshee?
Apparently they were an early concept idea and weren't the real ride vehicle
Maria Fernanda They determined the banshee couldn't hold up enough weight and it was inefficient
Indeed they do to our disappointment you don't
The line was absolute HELL, but honestly? Worth it for that incredible ride.
how did everyone get access to this ride so early?
Alanka they had random drawings for passholders to enter
WOW!!!! the ride system looks impressive. Also the screens are AMAZING. good job!!!!!!
