@38:00 the Pico is like an Arduino board, Pi Zero is a smaller single core Pi. What you're looking for is the Pi Compute Module that is thinner, but would have required a second board to interface with that for a garage project would have likely been thicker than the standard Pi

lol. Linux lover, but very true. It's the nature of such a fragmented system. Very hard to push something "mainstream" that is not completely centralized.
honestly the new thumbnails are great simple and helpful design that have a clear identity too
also the dude saying that people got bud lights audience wrong is incorrect, lots of people drink bud light, its a very corporate brand but a bunch of basic-ass social conservatives and generally anti trans people shat the collective bed. any notions that are to the contrary are wrong, Budwiser knows how to market and knows its a weak drink for corporate events and the general public and not the chosen one beer by MAGA freaks and angry psychopaths.
I'm pleased someone else is actually sticking up for hibernation! Those who deem it unnecessary have probably not experienced a power outage where the UPS will provide just enough power to hibernate, or running low on juice with a laptop. KDE session save/restore is great but it doesn't put you exactly where you left off and, on spinning rust, resume is probably quicker than a clean boot & reloading everything.
I like the new thumbs too.
I will say the federation aspect makes mis/dis info moderation less of a concern.
No idea what the fuss is about flatpak OBS not working on hyprland.
Just tested it to see what is going on, works fine here.
Perhaps you had a portal mismatch or something, these things are quite annoying to deal with, but it definitely does work.
I used the hyprland portal. But who knows
@@TheLinuxCast You might have had multiple instances (e.g. something like gnome portal and hyprland portal on the same aystem) which can crash the portal.

im pretty much over social media only reason i got a mastodon is to keep up with ya'll on fosstodon, i dont' get on there but once in awhile to look at it, other then that i don't care about it, the only reason i checked it out is cause its not a mainstream thing and its got some kinda moderation,
