Than you so very much you just helped to help my Dad from throwing a tantrum at spoiling out last minute trip plans coming up & saved us money. Seriously Idk you, but if I did I’d give you a big high five & a hug of appreciation & gratitude. My Dad is the grumpiest of grumpy old men seriously saved this entire weeks trip & plans & me the headache of dealing w/a very angry perturbed grumpy old man. ❤😊
Hey thanks for watching. I’m very happy to hear my video helped you out so much and kept your trip on schedule it definitely motivates me to keep making content. Hope you sub to the channel!
@@ucanfixit1 I have a 2006 Honda Accord which the panel & the direction it seems that the brake pad thingy was parallel as popes to vertical like on your 2007 which was really the only difference, but I also saved my Dad from being a complete idk how else to put it nicely but he reminds me of a baboon when he gets upset & it’s just annoying. So yeah keep it up always interested in learning ways of keeping up on my vehicles operating properly especially b/c I’m passing it onto my son who is only 11 but I’m teaching him how to be responsible & taking him to learn how to drive now so it gives him initiative to continue being a good person & a successful happy responsible man who can maintain his personal affairs & make me feel better about him growing up going out on his own w/o me one day. So think about it that way what your doing isn’t just about the vehicles it’s about the ppl & if it makes you feel good & this is what you enjoy & want to share w/ppl I have no doubts you’ll be successful too. Don’t doubt in yourself cause the Good Lord Above He doesn’t doubt in you! Thank Him too! God Bless!
@@audrtuviashartel8291 thank you very much I really appreciate it and your starting your kids off great they will forever remember how you gave them the confidence and showed them how to work on their own stuff. I thought this was gone be a big problem, thought I was gone have to disconnect my battery every time I get out my car so my car won’t go dead! But then I seen this video, and this literally took me 5 mins and only cost 11.00! Great job in explaining and demonstrating 🙌🏾

You saved me. A neighbor told me about my brake lights being on after 9pm. I scrambled to look this problem up and found your and other videos on the issue but yours was the most helpful. My Honda Accord is 2006 and I had a devil of a time getting under the plastic cover. I rushed to the auto parts store before they closed. I was able to get the part & install it after I goofed my 1st attempt. Kudos to you for making this video for us.
Hey thanks for watching! I’m always happy to hear my video helped. Comments like these are why I keep making these kind of videos. Hope you sub to the channel.
I had to wait 5 days for this to be fixed before I saw this video. If I could drop a million likes I would💯

Thank you! Your title is perfect too, it's what I put into YT to try to figure out what was going on with my car after I replaced the battery and realized my lights were still on. My part arrives tomorrow. I really appreciate you making this video.
Hey thanks for watching. I’m very happy to hear my video helped you. I couldn’t find a video that explained how to fix the issue when I typed it into CZcams so I decided to make one. Glad I did because it’s helping alot of people and it definitely inspires me to make more tutorials. Hope you’ll sub to the channel.
One little tidbit I learned after doing this and my skill set is beginner... I had trouble installing the aftermarket part (you make it look so easy, lol), so I ordered (Genuine Honda OEM 46505-SA5-000). I had an easier time snapping that in under my brake. Also, for manual cars there are 2 of these in the clutch, so one could need up to 3 of these. Out of the white and black parts the only one I could get in was the black one and it seems to be a different material/design than the original, so I fixed it temporarily until the Honda part arrived. Thanks again! 💚
@@chrissym4745 well thank you for the tips it’s very much appreciated, and yes it can be a little difficult getting that stopper in. Glad you got it fixed. Definitely good to know the original Honda part is easier to get in very helpful.
Worked like a charm. My 2004 accord was a set up a little different but your video gave the jist and was super helpful. Keep up the good work.
Hey thanks for watching. Very happy to hear my video helped I hope you’ll sub to the channel.
I’m waiting of the plastic part from Autozone but thanks to this video and a plastic water bottle cap 😂 I’m able to temporarily turn the lights off so it doesn’t drain my battery. As someone who sucks with cars your video perfectly helped me take everything off and show me exactly how to get this done. You have a sub from me and a very thankful person!
Hey thanks for watching and subbing to the channel I really appreciate it. Happy to hear my video was easy to follow. Smart thinking with the bottle cap you can also go to Home Depot and buy a nut and bolt to slap in there. It’ll probably last longer 😂
Thank you so much, I saw your video screen shot the part went to advance and back home. I followed your video and my brake lights are back to normal. Thank you again. You help me fix this in under 30 minutes.

THANK YOU!!! This was the first video I clicked on and it is exactly what's wrong. Bumper has disappeared.
Also, gotta love that clear coat defect on our year and model haha. I always know an '07 when I see it because it's got matte stripes on the hood and roof.
Hey thanks for watching. Very happy to hear my video helped. Yea that clear coat is the worst on the 07 other than that it’s a great little car.
Appreciate you, just saved me from waiting 2 weeks and having the mechanic charge me for it 😊
Edit: definitely subbing
Hey thanks for watching. Always happy to hear my video is helping and saving people money. Thanks for the sub I really appreciate it! 💪🏽
Thank you so much. We just realized the brake lights have been on for several hours. Everything is closed, but I will certainly take care of it tomorrow. You are an angel.

Thanks for the info. The brake lights on my 1999 Accord Coupe won't turn off. It just started today. Then when you showed the plastic bumper I realized that I saw a broken black bumper piece on my carpet under the steering wheel. I didn't know what it was. Thought it was just a piece of trash that got stuck under my shoe while walking on dirt.
Going to fix it now.
Thanks !

I thought of donating my 98 Honda Civic when I saw the brake lights constantly ON causing battery to die not knowing where the problem is. I saw this video and repaired it with Honda part 46505-SA5-000. Now it is working fine. Thank you bunch for saving money as mechanics would charge minimum $100 to touch a car for diagnostics.

I wish i could hug you! I finally leave work, & during my drive home, something keeps rolling under the heel of my foot. Get to a light & am finally able to reach down there real quick & grab this odd looking, small thing with a little spike end...put it in my door, because i have an '07 Honda...this isn't the 1st time I've found what ends up being a piece to a car part under my feet. 🤦🏻♀️ Last time though, it was for my clutch & I had to have the car towed & wait a week or so before it was fixed. Not again! I started searching online & found your video! 2am & I'm armed with a flashlight, towel, Phillips, flathead & your video. Sure enough, that's exactly what it was! I was able to put the broken piece in, so my lights would finally turn off & I'm having my son swing by our local auto parts store to grab that on the way home today. Thanks to your video, I'll have it fixed in less than 24 hours! Bless you!!

Thanks for the clear instructions. Replaced the bumper with a M6 bolt from harbor freight. Why they make they bumper out of plastic! And seemingly redundant since the distance of the switch is adjustable.
