Gta 5 was great, amd the map was huge and varied but it felt a bit empty to me. Rdr2's is filled to the brim with side quests, secrets, random encounters, activities and just felt a whole lot more engaging for me. One of the most alive open worlds ever, period.
I played GTAV for the first time a few months ago and after 100% RDR2 three times and one of them I got all trophies in single player something I never do, it’s hands down my favorite game of all time. Than playing GTAV after RDR2 I was expecting to be surprised but I quickly got bored of the city. Also the collectibles aren’t fun there is way to many of each type and the reward is useless. While I finished GTA’s story and all of the stranger missions compared to RDR2 a world packed to the brim I will not return to GTAV boring empty grind fest of a world.
Annie's Ranch is in Durango,Mexico, which is supposed to be like US-Mexico border in Arizona. Annesburg is in New Hanover,USA,which is supposed to be like Northeast Arkansas. So technically it would be from southern Arizona to northeast Arkansas.
I love how rdr2 remastered all of rdr1 map (besides Mexico) while still adding a another huge portion of the map that’s like 10 bigger. It was very awesome and nostalgic seeing locations again that I saw years ago in rdr1,
SmallOwl870 appearently there are textures and buildings constructed in Mexico when people glitch their way there so maybe Rockstar was thinking about including Mexico but then scrapped it
J4msless Yes I’m aware of that, Mexico would be an awesome new DLC! Besides they already have some models for it and Mexico already has the same exact terrain as rdr1 They definitely had something planned but scrapped it
Now that the ps5 is coming out and Rockstar already confirmed that GTA v is coming out for ps5,that gives me hope that they're gonna make red dead redemption remake
when u go glitch into mexico, Mexican music will start to play , Mexican trumpets , mysterious dog barks , also some locations that look like the rdr1 mexico
Thomas Philipa apparently it takes ten years before red dead revolver but also had John marston, which is immediately bullshit considering he’s 26 in 1899 so I wouldn’t worry about it
From Red Dead Revolver to Red Dead Redemption was definitely the most significant and revolutionary change, not only in the map but in all possible aspects. It’s truly amazing the difference between the two. I loved the first one but I was blown away by Redemption
Man in RDR2 you forgot Guarma, Nuevo Paraìso, Guarma, The unused landmass at west above the ocean of Guarma and the temporary map during the mission "Outlaws from the west"
@@mollym9012 I think he might've meant the next mission after that where you save John from the wolves you get to ride past the maps boundaries for that mission. Other than that not sure what he's talking about if that's not it
Dylan Rich I didnt meant that, I meant that during the first cutscene of the game if you go freecam (with mods) you can see that the area changes completely being more detailed
I heard that red dead 2 is supposed to be a mashed version of the entire U.S...but I noticed it portrays mainly the south since its east part of the map is Louisiana and Armidillo and stuff is supposed to be texas I believe... but then again there is also locations in game that represent parts of the U.S in totally different areas
It's not a mashed version of the entire USA. The game doesn't portray any land east of the Mississippi. The game is a mashup of all the western states (Like Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Texas, Nevada, Nebraska, Kansas, Louisiana, Washington, and Oregon).
im gonna love to see rdr3 about a member of dutch vandelinde gang and Who gonna die in blackwater massacre and then we play as arthur morgan in the end
I think they should really make a game/DLC where you play as Dutch after Arthur's death. It would be really interesting since it would show us how he was coping with the fact that because of a rat he trusted his gang fell apart and how did he end up teaming with Micah again at the end of RDR2. I find it interesting because we can see that at the end of RDR2 he wasn't really there for the Blackwater money but to get revenge on Micah. And if all this is a standalone game and not DLC then it should not be called Red Dead Redemption 3 since it isn't really a redemption arc, but revenge. Maybe Red Dead Revenge? Who knows.. this is just my idea. :)
I still think red dead 3 should have you play as a young Arthur or young John and you get to watch the gang grow and you add new members as the game goes on and you end it at the black water ferry mission
If they make a RDR3 and if they set it before the events of RDR2 I think they’ll show what’s west of New Austin. To me it’s make sense if they make a big map in the west, have new Austin and Black water but cut the new area of RDR2s map because that’d just be too big of a map, let’s be real. I mean there isn’t much to do in new Austin in RDR2 but it’s cool to have.
So recently I started playing rdr1 and seeing the difference from rdr2 is crazy because last time I played rdr1 I thought it was so realistic and I was so in love with it I played it all the time everyday after school and would even sometimes try to sneak on it at night when I was 8 or 7 😂 I played it all the way to 10 and I stopped and then find out rdr2 was coming and I couldn’t get it till like a year or two later but going back to rdr1 again was so crazy because now I think to yourself that the graphics are actually not great at all tbh and what we see now is how we seen games then. 😂 at least for me!
