Im 54 years old now , played RDR back in the day , and I have played RDR2 since its beta launch almost everyday . I love it , love helping new players , etc . Its like therapy for me , its so immersive and calming , and I will be playing it until I cant hold a controller anymore. Great video man , thanks

I still wonder to this day how RDR2 was even possible on the PS4 and XBOX ONE! Truly an amazing experience and my hope is that Rockstar ports it over to current gen with even better graphics and performance. What a treat would that be!

It'd be even better if Rockstar ported the game, and made it where you can explore outside the main map. I heard those areas, especially Ambarino, are very detailed.

I still think Red Dead Revolver's multiplayer was the most fun out of all of em. All those different characters each with their own unique abilities, and the creative game modes with all the different powerups you get from the playing cards dropped by your enemies, it was fun and frantic and any time I brought my system with the multitap to a friends we always had a blast. I always loved playing as Mr Black, the coffin he carried on his back was bulletproof, and he could activate his special to plop it on the ground and pop a gatling gun out of it.

Honestly, just the fact that rockstar is gonna continue milking gta 5 and the disaster of the definitive collection i won't hold my breath on it.
Red dead redemption 2 was already in a long production before gta 5 and i guess they realized it was too expensive to let go so they finished it.
We'll be lucky to get any new games at this point as long as people keep shilling money to gta 5.

I was obsessed with red dead revolver as a teen. Great game well ahead of its time. It’s been cool to see how it’s evolved since then. I still remember being scared hiding from Pig Josh because he was so fast and intimidating with his dynamite. 😅

What a phenomenal series! To go from being a slightly under-par third person shooter, to (at least in my opinion) the greatest game series of all time. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the greatest achievement in videogame history, and reaches levels of immersion that no other game has.

Now, there's two HIDEOUSLY UNDERRATED Western games that I feel also deserve a remake or at best a new game period.

@@lilglowstick4512 I know right. There's some forerunners towards the Red Dead series as a whole. Such as Colton's Quickdraw=Dead Eye.
The hunting in that game was wasteful, however. The open world was amazing, however, for the timeframe that it was made, it was TOO small.
Such a classic with an awesome voice cast, a little tweaks, updated graphics, a more expansive open world, and maybe borrow some elements from Red Dead; a Gun remake would be awesome.

I loved Red Dead so much but the thing that was the only disappointment to me is that you couldn't actually rob the trains in the first one. So I tried to make both trains collide with one another. The train went through the other stopped engine and immediately I was wanted I was like what?
Damn! Can't believe Red dead Revolver developed so much into RDR2, it's been like 11 or 12 years ago I played red dead Revolver for the first time, and I'm in love with it ever since. Damn I felt so old now😂
I got red dead revolver for my 16th birthday in July and even though I like old games it does have some flaws though it is pretty enjoyable

Always liked Red Harlow a lot more than John and Arthur, they are all amazing characters though. Something a lot of people don’t know is John was supposed to be red’s son in the beta of rdr1 but decided to not go with that idea. Hope they remaster red dead revolver someday, red deserves some more recognition

I've never played a better more fulfilling game than RDR &RDR2, I must admit that l did not enjoy the Zombie Red Dead game as much as iam not a Zombie fan, unless you want to chat about Silent Hill now that's a Zombie game, l &my wife are both in our 70s and have played all of manner of games since PS1 console was let loose on the the world, games like Solid Snake, Syphon Filter just to name 2 of the best graphically for the time even including multi player to boot. There isn't a better Western pair of games made in our opinion than these, we sincerely hope that we have not upset anyone if we have TOUGH.

Red dead redemption 2 is amazing but Rockstar has givin up on the online portion of the game and it's unfair for not getting anymore updates for the online and of you go look at a youtuber called "The Professional" he covers so much red dead online content, he's the go to person for great content for online but he's even covered all the bs Rockstar has done to the online including not making anymore updates for the online and its upset so many people and now the whole red dead community is trying to get Rockstar to do what they need to do to bring the game back to life and make it an even better game than before becuase its so beautiful and gorgeous and so worth playing but we can't do anything more but wait and see and keep hitting Rockstar where it hurts for our own sake #savereddeadonline
