There was one thing it seems you missed the with "Aberdeen Pig Farm" EE. After you make your way back to their house after being drugged and put into a hole. Kill the dude if you want. 😂 But you can tie the woman up with a lasso and if you pick her up, take her to the hole where they took Arthur she starts freaking out, crying and apologising to their dead parents because they killed them.
If your sneak back in the house if you don't go in the first time for food you hear the guy admit to killing them for what they did and is writing a journal. I spared them as Arthur because I felt bad. Then they try the same scam on Jon if you pass by later
I never realized the Rhodes gunsmith had such a tragic reason for why he kidnapped the guy. I knew his son was dead, but never knew how until I saw this video.
You can tell they're off right from the start though, the only reason you'd stay and have the meal with them is just to see what weird shit happens lol.
I teared up a bit with "Graves of old friends" it's been years since I played this game, but each character's personalities have always stuck with me. Seeing Arthur's grave rushed in a wave of memories of that reminded me how great this game is.
I find it funny how Arthur exclaims in absolute disgust when the doctor cuts off that dude's arm but reacts to the mutilated corpses in the meteor house as if he found Uncle passed out drunk with vomit on the floor or something.
FYI: if you get your money taken from you at the pig farm as Arthur and then continue into chapter 7 without retrieving it, you can collect the money Arthur lost as John, and therefore bypass losing all your money at the end of chapter 6
"The Moon will shine on in the Darkness" Always took that to mean Herbert Moon thriving while the town is stricken by disease and such. A nod to him making a deal with The Strange Man (which is also what the "I offered you happiness or two generations, you made your choice" [loose paraphrasing] you find in the cabin is also talking about).

The one about Gray's Secret is fairly interesting. I am surprised the RDR2 team dwelled into such deep history they brought the Jacobite Uprising up. There is a few songs about it and one I recommend is Johnny Cope sung by Planxty.
the developers actually contracted a regional prison to obtain between 25-30 recently deceased inmates (who didn’t have families of course) during production just to make sure it was accurate
If Arthur dies with low honor, you should be able to loot his grave that would be cool. It would be like digging up Brad in GTA when he was a skeleton but you get the key Abigail gave him
13:46 I’m pretty sure this refers to Arthur giving John the choice. Arthur helped him escape and in the end when Sadie found Micah, he had the choice to leave it be and enjoy happiness with his family, or go down the path that would end in John being found by the pinkertons, and his family ending in two generations, with him and Jack.
The moment you realize the robot had to kill his own father because he told him about his plan of world domination, On that point the robot had more humanity than his father did.
Man. More open-world games ought to really put more stuff like this in games. Gives it more of a immersive feel to it. Now a lot of games don’t and feel empty
This. video. is. absolutely. insane. The amount of work and time spent to capture each of these moments is something to behold. Amazing game, amazing video.
Just imagine the hard work that went into creating these fucking awesome unique moments that are also optional and hard to find. So basically, 90 % percent of the people playing don't even get to see these things... That is mind-bogling.

Much appreciated!
In that little stranger encounter with the "rhino horn" salesman, if you mislead the guy after you find him, he'll thank you but slip in the latrine as he's trying to climb out and die. So either way he was destined to meet his end that day lol
The bear jumpscare got me really good the first time. I didn’t know anything about that house, even that Dutch’s pipe was in there. I was just exploring and went to check out the house out of curiosity
Same, was playing with a friend watching the whole thing. Walked into the house, shit myself, died, and spent 20 minutes burning the house to make sure the bear is a 1 time thing.
I happened to be behind the house as I was approaching it and the bear just simply walked out and attacked me. I never realized there was a cutscene of the jumpscare haha.
This was such an awesome video! Great job!! There’s so many of these Easter eggs I never found in my first play through. Probably about 75% I never found 😂
2 things only I have seemed to notice in RDR2. The mission in guarma where you take down the boat. After you finish and you walk slowly as Arthur, 2 little birds fly down on the wall next to Arthur then fly forward (going past Arthur, kind of a destination to go forward) this is clearly Hosea and Lenny as animals. Then the eagle that flies away from Arthur’s grave is in the mission American venom leading John towards Micah.
appreciate the tedious task this mustve been and the great editing and formatting that went into it. very cool seeing stuff that even after a hundred hours id never even heard of.
At 0:46:26 you can see that the Chelonians will in the desert had a divining rod with them, implying that they trusted its ability to find water in the desert, but died of dehydration searching.
1:36:43 Arthur: “Hey neat a broken pirate sword!” Arthur: *casually walks over to gator* Gator: “Hey that’s a cool looking sword….what are you….” Arthur: *starts hitting gator with the broken sword* Gator: “Hey! stop that! It hurts!” *rips away sword and chops down on Arthur* Arthur: “I regret nothing!”
When I got to Beaver Hollow I fell into the cave from that back entrance on the hill, and as soon as John faceplanted into the ground I heard an echo of Dutch's voice go "I had a goddamn plan!"
The guy who had his arm cut off, I felt, was the most rewarding encounter. I was still new to the game. When the guy approached me, I managed to get him to the doctor in time. When the doctor took him to the back room, the game gives you no indication that you can go back and watch the ordeal. I almost walked out thinking the door would just seal shut like with previous Rockstar games that stop you from going through certain doors but then decided to see if was able to go through the door. I got to watch the hole grueling experience and that’s when I fell i realized how special this game was. The bear in Vetter’s Echo was another one. It’s been like 3 years since I started playing this game and I’m still obsessed.
"The water is black with venom" reminds me of the final mission "American Venom" and Blackwater for some reason. Maybe saying how the gang is poisoned by Micah.
22:41 has to be the saddest thing a person can go through because those used to be John’a homes and hearing Sean sing broke my heart tbh and hearing Arthur speak to John…sad girl hours
In the strange man house it said bucks and eagles are on the painting with low honor and vulture and coyotes with high honor. Did you mean the opposite
I think it's worth pointing out that "His final toll will sound my greatest coming" (during the Time traveler segment at 7:00) is perhaps not about John Marston, but rather Micah, whose last name is Bell. Dutch's over-reliance on Micah despite his continued untrustworthiness spells a ton of trouble for the gang in the end, and Dutch must set the record straight and stop the Bell from "tolling".
I think we can stretch the interpretation a little further. The cabin belongs to the stranger generally agreed to be a personification of death. The bell tolls for Arthur, Arthur is the final person Micah will kill, and this is death’s greatest coming since Arthur is the protagonist. Thus Micah is a mere hand of death and he kills the greatest of men. The phrase ‘for whom the bell tolls’ is from a poem by John Dunne, and it is about the interconnectedness of humanity, also originating the line ‘No man is an island’, which all seems very pertinent to the story of Arthur, whose group attempts to live as an island but fails, and who personally dies in attempting to be free of the group. Furthermore Arthur’s positive honour arc consists entirely of him begrudgingly learning to show more respect for his fellow man as opposed to committing wanton and selfish violence. The poem ends on the line ‘send(ask) not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee’; ‘thee’ will be Arthur since the sentence in the cabin is carved in the future tense so you should be playing as Arthur when reading the insinuated line. This also explains why death appears in the mirror behind Arthur, because death hangs over him due to tuberculosis and his destiny with Micah (though of course it works for John as well given how RDR1 ends).
Ask not for whom the Bell tolls, for it tolls for thee. This is even more fitting when you realize that it's ultimately Micah that leads to Arthur dying, and we play as Arthur.
The cabin with the dead children legitimately made me jump because I don't notice then immediately and just looted everything thinking it had been abandoned. Until I put down the story book, turned and saw the dead boy with his eyes wide open.
12:03 I love that it even shows where Francis has time traveled to but it’s weird that he hasn’t traveled wayyyy into the future you can see he went to ancient Egypt and was able to go to 1899 but doesn’t go even further into the future
Awesome video! It woulda been great though, to get a peek at the map location right before or after showing each of these... (easy enough to look up where these spots are located- but woulda been nice having it all in one video).
Agnes Dowd has one of the saddest stories in the game. The actress who did her voice work did an excellent job in humanizing her suffering. If I had to list the three saddest stories in the entire game, it would be Agnes Dowd, then the little Braithwaite girl stuck in the outhouse, then Arthur Morgan himself. Honorable mention goes to the old hunter/trapper man who gave his horse to Arthur.
Why did the poster shot the Braithwaite girl and what was that about? Was there no way to get her out? Also what about that injured man who had his arm get cut off and was hung for a supposed murder did he really do it?
10:38 Geology for Beginners II is actually a reference to Grand Theft Auto V Epsilon Program because of their fictional website saying that a person with a birthmark on their face (looking extremely like Francis Sinclair) is a "Descendant" of Kraff (the Cult's God) and it makes more sense because the Epsilon is about Scientology.

@@Bated. yep it’s definitely connect to the Epsilon. Maybe more will be revealed in the next GTA or maybe more will be discovered in red dead. People are still uncovering things so who knows lol
I could also count this as an easter egg. When you are playing as John in the epilogue, you can go revisit the old camp sites where Arthur, Dutch and the gang stayed at and if you hang around for a few minutes, you can hear the voices of your former gang members, even though there is nobody at those camp sites.
I haven't had any of that dialogue happen. I went to visit some of the Graves of the gang. Went back to Colter, horseshoe overlook, Clemson point, shady belle and never hear those voices. Maybe my game is broken.
@@ericdubois8029 You could also try setting up camp a little away from the spot and then sleep and come back the next morning. I'm not sure exactly what triggers it. I could be visiting the old gang camp sites durning a certain time of day like the mornings, or being in a certain spot around the site. Its kindof interesting. Like at Horseshoe overlook when I visited there as John, I heard voices of the gang partying and singing when Sean returned, even though there was nobody actually there when John visits. Or at Shady Belle, you hear a voice of Abigail, being joyful and relieved that Jack has returned after being kidnapped. I know that I did try sleeping after visiting one of those sites initially and didn't hear anything, then the next morning, I would return and be wondering around not hearing anything, then all the sudden, I would hear a voice of one of the old gang members.
@@sburton015 thank you! I'll have to go back and try what you said. I just rode to the next camp instead of coming near by and trying again. I'll definitely give it another go my friend. I appreciate it.

I teared up a bit with "Graves of old friends" it's been years since I played this game, but each character's personalities have always stuck with me. Seeing Arthur's grave rushed in a wave of memories of that reminded me how great this game is.
Fun fact at 57:24 , if you take the carbine from the frozen man there’s a special animation where Arthur has to free it from his grip
I find it funny how Arthur exclaims in absolute disgust when the doctor cuts off that dude's arm but reacts to the mutilated corpses in the meteor house as if he found Uncle passed out drunk with vomit on the floor or something.

Arthur sounded genuinely frightened there lmao
"The Moon will shine on in the Darkness" Always took that to mean Herbert Moon thriving while the town is stricken by disease and such. A nod to him making a deal with The Strange Man (which is also what the "I offered you happiness or two generations, you made your choice" [loose paraphrasing] you find in the cabin is also talking about).
Just wanted to give kudos for the way you presented this video. No stock music, no tedious intro where you talk about your upcoming video release schedule, no narration between clips that explains the clip before showing the clip, just pure gameplay footage. Wish other content creators would follow suit. Less is more, without a doubt.
@mrbossman
Especially when describing the mysterious man’s house or whatever that was
Seriously every other content creator does it and focus more on getting attention and views than actually putting quality into their videos.

The one about Gray's Secret is fairly interesting. I am surprised the RDR2 team dwelled into such deep history they brought the Jacobite Uprising up. There is a few songs about it and one I recommend is Johnny Cope sung by Planxty.
My biggest takeaway is how good this game is at displaying decomposing corpses in a realistic way. From different types of death

If Arthur dies with low honor, you should be able to loot his grave that would be cool. It would be like digging up Brad in GTA when he was a skeleton but you get the key Abigail gave him

29:20 Arthur's face always gets me😂
13:46 I’m pretty sure this refers to Arthur giving John the choice. Arthur helped him escape and in the end when Sadie found Micah, he had the choice to leave it be and enjoy happiness with his family, or go down the path that would end in John being found by the pinkertons, and his family ending in two generations, with him and Jack.
The fact that this game has so many easter eggs is amazing.
and terrifying!
And just think, there are probably tons more that aren't even on the list.
The moment you realize the robot had to kill his own father because he told him about his plan of world domination, On that point the robot had more humanity than his father did.

Gator: “Hey! stop that! It hurts!” *rips away sword and chops down on Arthur*
Arthur: “I regret nothing!”
LOL John sounded so happy when he jumped with the cult. 🤣
22:45 man the echoes are so sad..but honestly amazing that they thought of adding it. Really tugs on your emotions.
For specification
Wow the fact this video connected the two cults in GTA5 and RDR2 for me is amazing
Thank you so much. I bet this took you a while to compile.
I can't wait to be able to play this game.
I think you've got it.
This also explains why death appears in the mirror behind Arthur, because death hangs over him due to tuberculosis and his destiny with Micah (though of course it works for John as well given how RDR1 ends).
trolling*
Ask not for whom the Bell tolls, for it tolls for thee.
This is even more fitting when you realize that it's ultimately Micah that leads to Arthur dying, and we play as Arthur.
@@thomaskilroy3199 Micah kills a small girl at some point in the epilogue. And thats just one we know about.
Mr. Hamish Sinclair. A legend.
what about jack marston?
Why did the poster shot the Braithwaite girl and what was that about? Was there no way to get her out? Also what about that injured man who had his arm get cut off and was hung for a supposed murder did he really do it?
Hamish is one of my favorite side characters next to Marco Dragic
Hamish Sinclair
10:38 Geology for Beginners II is actually a reference to Grand Theft Auto V Epsilon Program because of their fictional website saying that a person with a birthmark on their face (looking extremely like Francis Sinclair) is a "Descendant" of Kraff (the Cult's God) and it makes more sense because the Epsilon is about Scientology.
I think there is still more to the Francis Sinclair mystery. Why does he need the carvings? What do they do? Why is he here?
What do you think?
@@djp3819 maybe he needs to find all the carvings to return to his original plane of existence? maybe to return back to his time period?

I could also count this as an easter egg. When you are playing as John in the epilogue, you can go revisit the old camp sites where Arthur, Dutch and the gang stayed at and if you hang around for a few minutes, you can hear the voices of your former gang members, even though there is nobody at those camp sites.
It was included in the start
