Sardines has more nutrients, protein AND omega 3s than tuna. So if someone trying to get swole in prison and keep that ticker mad strong with the omega 3s than they should be eating that more than tuna. Also sardines has little to no Mercury. So unlike tuna you can literally eat it every day. So if i was trying to get swole in prison i would be eating at least 2 to 3 cans of sardines 3 days a week and the rest i would eat tuna.
This had crossed my mind as well. I would expect the workout junkies would hit this item hard.
At least get the one's in some kind of sauce tomato mustard or something

Hey Joe I have only recently started watching your videos and I just wanted to say from convict to convict I'm very proud of you and you show alot of people that convicts go threw alot and some people will never be able to comprehend what happens up the road how convicts are treated and what we go threw even after we serve our time for the mistakes we have made in our past so to a certain degree I have to thank CRC in orient Ohio for making me the man I am today and I am proud of what has happened in my life and you help me never forget where I can end up if I fall back to the old me which is very easy so I want to thank you and you have my support and respect keep up the amazing work brother

I've never done real time so this is just me thinking about it, but some of those items I can think of a use for. The tidy whities, I've heard people getting them in the federal system just for the elastic waste band. They unravel it and make a rope out of it. They then use them to pass kites and smaller objects under their cell doors to other inmates. The dentures glue, if I was locked up I would definitely buy a tube. Growing up my mom had dentures and I saw personally how strong this stuff if. It could definitely be useful just as a glue. Imnalmost certain it will stick to the cell walls. U can hang anything you want. U could also use it to secure a shank or something to the backside of a out of site of everyone. U could also use it to wrick things to your body. Remmeber jts designed to work in ur mouth at 98.6 degrees and it's designed to stick to skin. U could stick all sorts of contraband to your body with it under your clothes. Ans unlike toothpaste, it doesnt smell

In the city jail,in my neck of the woods they have joint issue “deodorant” and they sell it on commissary called dawn mist.And we can’t buy actual scented deodorant in the city jails.Can only have proper deodorant in the pen here.The dawn mist makes ur Pitts stink almost instantly.I just smush up the shit in a plastic bag,put a few drops of Herbal Essence or Zest body wash,pour it back in the deodorant container and in a few hours it hardens back to its original form.Actually gives it a pretty fresh scent!

We had deodorant in commissary that was called “maximum security” and it was a liquid roll on.didnt work great so you wound up putting it on like ten times a day.

At the county jail I was at a hand full of times... It was discovered that if you use the commissary deodorant, and a little bit of the CLEAR toothpaste the state gives you, and rub it under your arm pits, and then rub baby powder over it you stay dry and won't stink even after rec. Keep in mind this is in Florida during the summer. So it works pretty well.
But... Also, if you put a glob of the clear toothpaste on/in something exposed to the air, and let it sit for a few days it will turn to tacky glue. We used it to hang pictures, drawings, etc... Obviously this means it can't be very good for you. But it actually doesn't irritate your skin or anything.
So if you use it as part of your deodorant routine... You better be showering every day (So you don't clog your pores). Which you should be doing anyway. But some bitches are nasty as fuck in jail.
Edit: By the way the commissary deodorant/ the one in the hygiene package you bought wasn't any better than the state deodorant. They were basically the same thing with a different label.

Sardines? in a can? ok part of that could be Made into a weapon if wanted you see i'm a crafty person the pull top of the Sardine Can has sharp or serrated edges and if used properly and is in the right shape could be used to make a Weapon and the key with it could be used to some sort of Lock Pick

Now that you are living life on the straight and narrow do you ever find yourself feeling trapped in the grind, leading to depression. Been rocking with after prison since before Dave w and a even on the show. Been trying to keep myself good and clean but the boredom and grind have started to make me feel like I'm dying inside. I'd love to see you do a cooking video making prison type dishes but using higher end instant noodles from around the world. There are so many different delicious instant noodles that aren't just Top Ramen. I think it would be interesting to see you use some of them. You can find many of them at your local Asian grocery store.
Sardines could actually be useful in prison cooking. All that salt is like having a whole salt shaker in a can. They don’t taste bad if you like fish, there really salty and hey you could do some kind of seafood stew. High in protein. idk I’m kinda on the sardines’ side.
I like sardine's straight from the can ... I like them on pizza and with hot source, pepper, in sandwiches etc.

We had two brands of ramen. The cup and package type with about five kinds for each. Yet we didn’t have hot water, nor cold in fact, straight like warm water, no microwave it sucked. Because when I’ve been locked up other places you got like a microwave or at least hot water. Most people just ate it “prison popcorn” style. Breaking the ramens in small chunks and sprinkling the seasonings over top. It’s kinda pointless. Get something else if you aren’t going to let the inmates actually cook them. And you can still make burritos and stuff, but I mean it just doesn’t taste the same room temperature or colder.

Dunno man, think you underestimating Sardines. 1. Cheaper than Tuna (prolly guess by a dollar) 2. More fat, calories, D and E ,Omega oils and almost as much protein as Tuna with no mercury. 3. Great for Keeto and working out 4. They are gutted and do not have heads ( at least the ones I get from Aldis don't) 5. While never been in prison, often eat them for a quick meal since they are filling right out the can..heck even mixed em into Ramen 6. They can come in hot sauce or mustard etc....btw nobody should be cooking sardines ...Don't hate on the Sardines man.
