Being one of the original members, and him actually playing and performing in the original recordings he has all the rights to perform them!! He's not a copy cat, if he's a true original!! He's 1/4 of the the GREATEST band ever!! GREAT VIDEO!!
@@EWormMusic That's true. Wolfgang is a bit stuck in nostalgia. But he made peace with Florian, which is great. That said, his solo music releases are interesting. Very different from Kraftwerk, but enjoyable.
Good to see Flur still jamming. This is what life should be, creating, performing your art even after the original Band changed hands. I am reading Bartos book and one of the reasons he said he left was because he felt Kraftwerk as a group, weren't producing songs as often as he would like to in the studio. I think that was a bad trend with mega stars like Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones. Too much wasted time between releasing new albums. Even worse, Prince- whom has music never released, locked up in a vault somewhere.
Nachdem Wolfgang Flür Kraftwerk verlassen hatte, kam von KRAFTWERK nicht innovatives mehr. Kraftwerk beschränkte sich darauf Ihr Image zu pflegen und Konzerte mit Videos zu untermalen. Diese sind allerdings schon sehr gut gemacht. Wolfgang darf meine ich alle Kraftwerk Stücke spielen, an die er mitgewirkt hatte. Innovativ waren sein Drums, die er damals mit Stricknadeln gespielt hatte. Wer sich einmal das Buch: "Ich war ein Roboter" durchliest, der mag danach Kraftwerk nicht mehr.
Weird to see Wolfgang (and Karl also) playing karaoke songs of KW. They left the band a long time ago now and they did not renew.Wolfgang wrote a critical book about KW and lost a case against Ralf & Florian. It seems bizarre to see him moving and dancing to KW sounds.
I mean, I can understand what you are saying. But at least Wolfgang is happy with what music he has composed and is inspired by the late Kraftwerk sounds 😀

Kind of like Paul McCartney after the Beatles broke up. He still sang some Beatle songs, on tour, as well as creating his own brand with Wings..
