I love how every version of this, and every Kraftwerk song, sounds different, depending on who is performing it. So open to interpertation, little tweaks, different takes. Beautiful.
As Kraftwerk fan i confess, this sounds really cool...with Wolfgang it sounds quite like in the seventies and i love that, nice video...wish there were more to find...or even an album of that cooperation ;)
by rights there could now be four versions of Kraftwerk criss crossing the world on permanent tours using identical equipment playing identical material. That way they could keep up with demand. It would be cool if you didn't know which original member was involved at any time.
Mabe, mabe not but Wolfgang still invented the electro-drumminstrument (or somekind of other drumminstrument, im not 100% sure but i think it´s the instrument he plays here)
@MrKraftwerk1 That was my sophmore year in High School. I'm a senior now. I wish I still had German. The class got rid off since all these budget cuts started happening in Florida. Sad right?
@t0rment2004 Im 47 , I always grew up thinking DEVO copied Kraftwerk when I was a teenager. and of course back then I had no internet to research, so later I figured out that DEVO without knowledge of Kraftwerk: especially in consideration of the fact that DEVO started as an art collective in 1972! However I do have to sAy, Im practically positive DEVO's look by the time of Freedom of Coice was totally plagerized off of Man Machine
Wolfgang on electronic drum??? Ahh the old days are back!
