    Thank you for this recipe! It's so beautifully done. I made it, it's so delicious and refreshing. I used condensed milk as the sweetener for a creamier taste :)

      Hi HappyRaccoon, Yes sure is! We source direct from farms in Nishio, Japan and get our matcha packaged and ready to ship to customers as soon as it is produced - so it's very very fresh!

      Awesome - I like to blend matcha drinks with Ice - stevia is a good option, but easier to work with than honey. Hope you enjoyed it :)

      +The Foodie Duos - Christila U HI! Thanks for the kind words - hope your BF enjoys it :) The background music I beleive was from the video editing software, I think Final Cut Pro. My friend filmed it but he can't remember the name either :(
      I've heard it on a few videos lately, so it must be one of the popular editing programs!

    How much hot water do I put in? And about how hot should the water be?

    • @KenkoteaAu
      @KenkoteaAu  Před 8 lety

      +Sophiazhang18
      HI Sophia - This must be the worlds slowest reply - but 80-90c is recommended for matcha. You can boil the water (100c) and leave it sit for 5 minutes before using to acheive this without a thermometer.
      For a matcha latte I use as least water as possible, so it doesn't take away from the milky / creamyness.
      You can also just mix it in a shaker bottle or blender without water too, this way you won't dilute it with any water :)

    I have a question, can you add milk too green tea?

    • @KenkoteaAu
      @KenkoteaAu  Před 8 lety +1

      +Tiana Ngo HI Tiana - Do you mean regular green tea? I guess you could - but most people drink green tea bags without milk.
      If you mean matcha or green tea powder, then yes you absolutely can - green tea latte's are extremely popular these days :)

    Does this taste like the starbucks one?

    • @KenkoteaAu
      @KenkoteaAu  Před 9 lety +1

      Hi Smuttana17 - It does taste similar, the Starbucks one has ALOT more sugar and syrup. So if you like it sweeter like the Starbucks Green Tea Latte you could add more sugar or sweeteners. Hope that helps !

      If you want a simpler way - just put the matcha, ice and milk in a shaker bottle and shake it until it's blended - or add everything to a Food Processor to mix it :D

      My question is how much of the hot water do you add per teaspoon? This video just says add hot water. But how much? I don't want to do too little or too much. That being the case, how much hot water should I add per teaspoon of matcha?
