This machine is NSR500 final version for Daijiro Kato.
ツインリンクもてぎで行われた走行確認テストの模様です。
NSR500最終型。この年はMotoGPマシンと並走なのに，敢えて新型を開発・投入したHRC。
勝つことはできませんでしたが，2ストローク500ccの終焉を手を抜かずにと戦ってくれたことに
胸が熱くなります。

Wonderful, no anti-wheelie, just the rider, his right wrist, his talent and a screaming two-stroke maniac 180 horsepower engine, a thing of beauty is a joy to behold.

the irony is Honda never wanted to built a 2 stroke, the company is against 2 stroke development.... so they go and built the most dominating GP bike of all time, as a 2 stroke

Where can I buy those green and white Honda caps/hats that mechanics wear? Seems like factory mechanics wear them on pretty much any Honda Collection Hall video and numerous factory assembly videos.

Ok, i do ride an cbr 600rr and it`s fun but i also had to save one of my 2t bikes and that is an suzuki rg250. I don`t find the right word about the 2T. To those who drive those 4T and never tried 250-500 2T,you really have to try,listen and feel what this is. I can agree that it`s better to ride a 4T on long trips but never forget that motorbike should also be fun, so why care about that 2stroke use much gas,oil,change parts more often. remember fun cost money and now as they don`t pruduce this T rockets any more, the value just raise. 2T 4ever
nah man 2 strokes are the way to go. especially with modern direct injection, 2 strokes power to weight ratio is far superior to the 4 strokes.
最終型って、90度等爆かなあ？180度の2気筒同爆かなあ？この音からだけじゃわからないです。

@@Deckay_Fさん。ビッグバンでないことだけはわかりますが、2気筒ずつの同爆かは朴にはわかりません。いずれにしても、ドゥーハンから始まったビッグバン全盛期を、ドゥーハン自身が等漠に回帰して終わらせたのが面白いですね。今もドゥカティはビッグバンみたいですけどね。

They are allowed to race. They stopped sing them in GP racing because they were superceeded by 4-Stroke technology so there was no point. They had reached the limits of what a 2-Stroke engine was capable of so they changed the rules to allow 4-Strokes which were largly undeveloped at the time compared to todays standards.
not quite right. 4-stroke tech couldn't compete on equal terms so they gave the 4 strokes a huge advantage of being double the engine capacity. At that point there was no chance for a 185hp 500cc to compete with a 210hp 990cc..

2 stroke is the perfect race engine and the state of evolution had nothing to do with their demise, it was environmental, commercial and philosophy reasons from the big manufacturers.2strokes are terrible for street going vehicles of any kind.

Japanese make super duper engineered engine perfection BUT a racing thourabred 2 stroke engine like this absolutely CANNOT be driven like some 2015 CBR1000 offt he show room floor -has to be ridden on the DIAL constantly BAR NONE flat slide carbon fiber reed valves pegged perfectly one the tip of the POWERBAND like KENNY ROBERTS did and Freddie Spencer no other way on GOD's Earth to ride one of these except flat out balls to the wall ...I rode 1993 YZR-500 once dialed in like riding a stinger missle makes brand new 2015 R1 easy --that sucker weigh 360 lbs and put out 130 HP back then and came up in all 4 gears!
