Here's the long-promised first episode on how to build your own state-of-the-art virtual pinball game. In this ep, I build the main cabinet out of wood from Lowe's.
JDV this is even better than your non-4k build a few yeas ago. Very detailed step by step directions with all the measurements and tools used. A masterpiece course in building your own cabinet. Can't wait for further journeys into this Series 😎😎
Hey Hollywood, it's been a minute! Good to see you again - and thanks for the kind words! Making how-to videos is still a challenge for me (esp in a build like this, where I'm making it up as I go along), so I'm pleased to hear that you think I'm getting better at it!
Oh my goodness!!!!! So excited!!!!! Will be following every update.
Hey, thanks for everything Mark! You're support means a lot to me! Hopefully you were digging the first ep...
I really appreciate this content as an owner of two ALP's this is an impressive build. I will be following this closely!
Hey Carl, what's up? I have to admit, I don't play my ALP too much since I finished up my 4K table. But I still like those Gottlieb tables a lot on the ALP... Hoping to get a review unit for the 4K version.
Your videos deserve way more views!
Well thank you Freiteez, and thanks for watching! Spread the word where you can I guess....
Fantastic job! this is just what I want to build. Thank you.
Having played this in real life, I can confirm it is AMAZING. Excellent job as always JDV. I can't wait to build my own!
Thank you brother! I'll be sure to help however I can!
Awesome job JDV, I'll absolutely be following your build!
Hey Jon, thanks for the kind words! Means a lot coming from you! If you guys haven't already, check out Jon's incredible website for the home arcade: wagnerstechtalk.com/
I like the laid back approach you have to this build. It does not have to be perfect - the graphics will cover it up!! I am building a cabinet myself right now and I am a perfection nut and I drive myself crazy sometimes with all the details..😜
Hey Tom, thanks for checking out the video! The way I figure it, it's an arcade machine. And arcade machines are only ever mint for one day - then they get beat on, kicked, spilled on, pushed/shoved, and otherwise abused. And these machines only ever get played on at night at my house, so some evils are covered by darkness too! Everyone's who's seen/played it seems to love it, so that's good enough for me. Good luck with your build!
@@evilgeniusentertainment Thanks man. I love your channel!!! Keep 'em coming buddy! At the end of the day it's all about the game play - (and yours looks really good BTW) - not anything else!!! Take care...- Tom
Thanks Tom, for real. And she might not look like much, but she has it where it counts....
Great Project!
Thank you Roger!
Can you create a PLAYLIST that contains just your (growing) list of videos related to Virtual Pinball? Or perhaps a Playlist that contains videos related to all things Pinball (Virtual & Real)?
Scott - funny you say that, 'cause that's my job for the day: czcams.com/play/PLK42onFAODr1meZUARi2IQ_WlrqQ_OPbA.html
Awesome video. I did see the graphics card you used. However, I might have missed it, but what motherboard and cpu did you use? I look forward to more of your videos.
All that info's coming soon in a new ep! Thanks for watching!
Can you add a tactile/hepatic vibration motor to give it more feel?
im so furious after watching this, you strip screws more than diddy strips interns
They all get covered by vinyl if that helps the rage any....
using drywall screws for a wood project...
Let me tell you: It plays as good as it looks. It's an absolute scream.
What's crazy is that even though there's a "real" pinball game in the shack, we almost always end up on the new vpin. It's a carnival in a box.
Hello Sir! Is the TV playfield at 0 degrees or does it have a slight slope? Thanks and nice work!
Well thanks! It does have a slope, something like 15 degrees. I may actually rise it up a couple of more degrees, but only a couple. Just uploaded the newest vpin build video BTW!
@@evilgeniusentertainment thanks for answer. Could you post a video how to mount the backglass and DMD? I saw a lot of videos about this but I think you did this very simple. Regards
Oh for sure, next 2 videos are on the playfield and backbox - but it's essentially just a game room solutions back box with a few mods: gameroomsolutions.com/shop/43-vitural-pinball-cabinet/
Great video, and not to difficult explanations. One comment: please give measurements in cm/meters also. That way the other 95% of the world can enjoy the building of a pinball machine.
Ben heck lost some weight....
