I think they've all had that feeling. Isaiah lost a game 7 finals in '88 (and after that terrible call in game 6) so he knows. Shaq for swept in a finals and lost to my favorite team ever the 2004 Pistons in a "5 game sweep" so he knows it. Dennis Scott lost in the finals with Shaq and McHale lost in the finals. So I think they all feel it and empathize with Chuck because he never won one.

The real Bulls, and any true basketball head that saw the dynasty in real time knows that team always fell back and relied on its defense which at times was so suffocating, that teams had a rough time just getting the ball over half court. Magic won as a rookie. Bird won in 81 so his 2nd or 3rd year. People forget mj it took awhile to win b/c the east was so tough. Celtics pistons & 76ers in the 80s. The Knicks sadly Ewing & mj were the same age so they had such a great rivalry but mj of course was better & Ewing really never had much help esp in his younger years. The best he had were 2 cba guys in starks & Mason so those were guys the Knicks didn't draft or trade for. They were Cinderella stories. I honestly believe pat Riley screwed up badly when the Knicks team of 92 took the bulls to 7 Jordan said that was the one time he called his dad nervous. That Knicks team should have stayed together. How do u get rid of a young mark jackson a ny native & the team leader & the x man who if u watch in 92 was killing the bulls. Riley I get felt he needed to add something to beat the bulls but I think being it was only his first year w/ that group keep em together for the next year & see if the chemistry gets even better. Instead he fell for Charles Smith & sadly that was a bust. So he let x man walk as a free agent & traded 25 year old mark Jackson for Smith & a past his prime doc rivers. Worst mistake. Plus I liked starks coming off the bench b/c he was so streaky it was maddening. He was brilliant or horrendous from game to game half to half at times. Gerald Wilkins wasn't his brother but having starks as ur only 2 guard really showed in the finals. Brilliant in game 6 single handedly almost winning the title than game 7 , 2 for 18. I was shocked Riley didn't tell him to stop shooting. Like the rockets actually were laying off him in the 4th & all just waiting for the rebound.

As a *HUGE* fan of the Barkley Era Sun's it really makes me feel better knowing that Finals loss was his worst moment..
    Not the girl spitting thing...
That loss haunts me so much because Charles health really declined after that and they never got back. Plus he was known to be Loof and not work hard.. He is the only one up there (of the 90s all stars) not to play in his prime with another Hall of Famer (Horry is going and Drex is there already) so then that winning a title is understandable but it still bugs the hell out of me. The sons were absolutely dismal on defense preferring to just simply outscored their opponents instead of actually Manning up but they had a fun style of play and that other gear they had that they could just turn up was absolutely amazing. I don't know it's weird but it really makes me feel good that it's still bugs Barclays to this day. Absolutely excellent excellent show this is. And I agree with Barkley wholeheartedly :I would love to hear the private conversations that they have about their careers.
