I think what keeps it easier for me is knowing it won't always be overwhelming too- I guess its will feel strange when we all get to the point that we just "know" we're at that perfect amount and then it will be evaluating where to go from there. Or even weirder that one day when we're panning and looking for a backup shade and realize we actually need to repurchase-lol. I think that feels like a dream that I can't wrap my brain around at the moment!

I'm so glad I came across this video of yours. I recently found out all about project pan, and i'm glad i did since I had been on a crazy spending spree for the past year, all on makeup! I went from owning just one of each: foundation, powder, and lipstick. After sparking my interest in makeup, i mindlessly bought so much of each kind of other products, usually because of the hype that comes with it. Now that i learned about project pan and watched your videos, i'm motivated to shop and rediscover my collection not only to use them up but also to get my money's worth. Every single tip you gave was useful! Now, before I buy makeup, i stop for a second and think of similar shades or products that i already have and wait for reviews. These are really good tips, I'm really similar. I need to be able to see my makeup to use it. Because I don't like clutter or my vanity covered with ALL my makeup, I end up doing weekly makeup baskets and rotating through my collection. And I make sure to keep my makeup clean, it just looks nicer all clean!
Yes! I find it is so soothing (I realize that probably sounds odd) to take the time to wipe the makeup down because its satisfying to see it look like its ready for display again. My husband jokes its like Sephora at my vanity but that really is like a candy store to us and we should love and enjoy what we've put our hard-earned money into! That's awesome that you are loving a weekly makeup basket!!!!!!

I went back through the eyeshadow looks I'd saved from various places on the internet and found that most of them I could recreate with stuff I already owned. I really hadn't thought that was the case!
I do seasonal capsule wardrobes and I'm working on planning out my winter one right now. And since I've also picked out my pan that palette for 2017 (Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons) I'm evaluating all of my new makeup purchases to make sure they are things that I'm actually going to want to wear with my capsule wardrobe and pan that palette. No sense in buying a bunch of stuff that's not going to go with what I'll be wearing for first three months of the year!
I love these tips! Especially the idea of looking to other duos & trios for inspiration. I remember several years ago watching makeupbytiffanyd do a tutorial on a Nars trio. I was not about to buy it, but I loved the look. So I used shadows that were similar colors from 3 different products to recreate her look. My views of makeup have changed so much in the last couple of years! I still love it but my buying habits have changed. I look at it all so differently. Thanks for keeping us all on track!!
I remember that video too! Its such a treat to see that we can do it too without having to spend any extra money and then someday we can pick up that NARS shadow if we feel like it! I love how we are changing to figure out exactly what we want- I'm even thinking what a joy it will be because when our daughters are going to be interested in makeup we will be well informed but have that holy grail collection to give them great jumping off points vs just feeling overwhelmed by everything!

its so easy and I now prefer the subtle look of the eyeshadow instead of trying to smudge out the pencil. I know I have a ton of colors just laying around so its very satisfying to know that I can show them some more love and attention vs accumulating more pencils like I used to! Have fun trying out your shadows on the lashline!
Great Tips Amber! Next Year I'm going on a major makeup restricted budget! But I agree with you on so many levels! I love organization but I'm like you out of sight out of mind. I have also decided to reorganize my vanity do that my blushes are more visible!

Thank you for these tips Amber. I am going to do some reorganization this weekend to remind myself what I have and check my lipsticks. A video idea for you to consider - I would love to see how you multi-task products, especially using eyeshadow for contour and highlight, do you use a larger brush in the small pans? Fingers? Small brush, then sheer it out with a large brush? I can experiment, but would like to know what works for you and other project planners who multi-task products.
You bet, Gina. I often show the multitasking in the grwm videos I have posted. I use the brush for what I'm trying to accomplish into the eyeshadow pan- so highlighting I will take my Real Techniques contour brush because its small and tapered into the eyeshadow pan and then use it to highlight cheeks, chin, center of forehead and nose. Then I'll go back with the eye brush (like MAC 217 size) that I use on my eyes and dust that highlighting shade on my cupid's bow. Contouring brushes, blush brushes I also use in the eye pans because you can press in the bristles or lightly tap/brush across the shadow before applying it to your face and you are good to go! I also have used my finger in the powder before applying if I'm going to ombre a lip or stamp something lighltly into my inner corners but I make sure my hands are clean and I spray the powder down with rubbing alcohol when I am finished with my makeup to sanitize it from anything that might have still been on my finger. Hope that helps!
thank you so much for making this video. I'm trying to clean out my collection. the struggle is real! I sucks at doing project pans. I've been trying to do them for two years now. I've never been able to stick with it. I've recently started putting 20 items in a bin and forcing myself to use them, and decided if I love it or hate.
Keep working hard at it and you are going to find your rhythm. When I first started panning in 2012 you could call it a continuous fail- I hit so many walls and got discouraged. I finally started getting hopeful as I finished eyeliner pencils I'd had for a long time and then a small travel size body spray and then the last of a buxom lip gloss and then a foundation. I kept a bath and body works bag handy to remind me of empties and I gave myself a time frame of 6mo to see what I could finish. The bag filling up kept me motivated and knowing I would be moving gave me more incentive to get through at least something. Then after I moved I set a new goal to see what I could finish in the first year of being in our home because I proved to myself that I could finish makeup. You can do this too- I know it, just keep plugging at it, stay motivated jumping into a seasonal panning challenge and you will surprise yourself when you have your "AHA" moment! Everything clicks and then starts to fall into place with more ease because you will build your confidence to take on a little more.
Great tips! I have some problem with that "What if I missed something out without having that product" and that makes me sad. From this week on I really really want to use up my "old" makeup.
You can do it, Mima! It took me a long time and a big learning curve to get to where I am now but its worth all the hard work along the way. Its going to feel weird for a bit as you go back into shopping your collection vs buying new makeup but you will feel so satisfied as you start to hit pan and finish makeup off out of the stash! Have lots of fun rediscovering those hidden gems in your collection!
Amber I could use these tips not only to control my spending on makeup but also other areas like crafting stuff and books. I forget what I have and don't take the time to organize/play with what I own. Things fall to the bottom of my stuff and I repurchase those same size knitting needles or even books that I can't find. Crazy huh?
Terri Burgess oh Terri, it happens to me too. Makeup is always a constant love for me but everything else feels like intense phases that pile up. I knit/crochet so you know the needles, patterns and skeins overtake a closet in a heartbeat! That was quite an undertaking but I've gotten it to where I want. I also had to tackle other areas of my life like the scads of clothes to get to a capsule wardrobe, the handbags to get down to only what I truly use, the cookbooks bc let's be honest life gets tough and it's easy to find great ideas online and accessories bc I certainly don't need all the excess with the capsule wardrobe. It's hard work but it's paying off now that the stress is gone.
Thank you for doing this video. i think i just needed a push to go get some variation in my makeup useup. Im quite bored and unmotivated. I will go shop my stash now and play with some of my makeup i haven't used in a long time and come back later to my project items 💪
Elisabeth Brounbjerg Christensen have fun rediscovering. I do it periodically while panning so I give some new life to the fit and it makes a big difference for me and then I get the extra push from seeing the obvious progress so it's less and less boredom the closer I get to the finish line.
Thanks for these tips. They are excellent, especially the one about cleaning & sanitizing palettes and compacts we already have. And btw, I don't watch many hauls any more because I end up feeling like cosmetics companies are just putting out the same things over and over again, only in different shiny pretty packaging.
Amber Paredes Sometimes I will get excited by a new palette, but when I go into a store to see and swatch it in person, I realize that if I'm being honest with myself, the 3-5 shades I can really use are ones I already have in 2-3 other palettes at home. not everyone is like emilynoel83, who can make any color combo look good on herself. i can really pull off about 3 combos that look good, with one really being the best, and i might be able do a few more but they are not going to he as flattering. i seriously do not need to buy any more palettes at all. period. haha
jcjccmz I don't agree with this. For me emilynoel always wears pink eyeshadow and I've stopped watching her because she still wears the same yet is recording blogs about new products that she doesn't appear to use! I applaud videos like this because Amber actually uses what she has. The consumerism of haul videos galls me! There, I'll put my soapbox away x
Val Martin Hi, I find what you are saying very interesting! I still watch Emily because she is likable and she is one of the few on youtube who reviews PR samples that are sent to her for free as if she had to pay hard-earned $ for them. But I have learned that I personally cannot use much of what she likes/recommends because our facial features and skin types are so different. That is the main point of what I meant, and she does seem to constantly talk about wearing/loving different kinds of shades when she points them out in new palettes. She has deep eye sockets with a lot of lid space and I have no crease and a tiny lid space. It would just look ridiculous if I tried to wear a lot of any color around my eyes, so my main point is that I recognize this and so i do not waste my money buying any of the pretty new eye shadow palettes that come out. It will probably take 20 years to pan just The Chocolate Bar palette that I have, let alone the 3-4 others that I own, so I am just saying "no" to buying any more palettes. And just so you know, she has recently worn a mint-green eye look, but she does wear a lot of purples on her eyes. Any way, I think we both agree that the crazy consumerism that is being pushed all over youtube is really unpleasant.
I bought lots of skincare and gifts for Christmas for the 20% sale. I've been panning/using up everything. Something that has definitely helped me with my collection is deciding to go cruelty free with all my products. I know that it's not for everyone, but it's helped me. I'm panning those non-cruelty free products and then getting excited about makeup again. Because there's the research of looking for new brand to buy from to test out, which is always the fun part. And it helps you to not to buy, because a lot of brands are not cruelty free, but you don't feel deprived. I feel like it makes it not just about myself, but that my choices are affecting something bigger, and all my purchases towards cruelty free items in the future will make me feel even better. It just makes me happy and also makes me feel that I'm not just a shopping sheep sucked into every little hype, which is why I was so knee deep in products to begin with.
That is fantastic, Lynn! I'm steadily working my way into having fewer products from non cruelty free companies as well so it gives me a lot of inspiration and motivation to see that you are well on your way to achieving it for yourself. I agree that it makes it a lot easier to not feel tempted because you know I hope that with more of us choosing to go cruelty free it will help make larger changes across the board in all brands and companies in how they conduct their research and product development!
it took me YEARS but i finlly got past the hoarding stage and now i buy and use versus buy and hoard. and i finally tossed those old cosmetics out. hard to do but gotta do it....

I live in the UK and we don't have the amount of choice instore that you folks in the US have. We also cannot return items so I am always wary of ordering online. My downfall used to be the QVC TSV kits where I would buy a kit for 1 or 2 items. I've now found a Feb group that sells off kit items and has a fair pricing policy. I do look at swatches online too to see if I have similar colours.
QVC is the ultimate master of sucking me in. They are simply brilliant with sucking us in with those product demos. I finally had to quit watching QVC because it was too easy to instantly order on my phone and then once I dropped cable its been even easier to not get into it because generally going to the website allows me to change my mind about buying the makeup. That is awesome to hear that you can use the Facebook group to just catch up on what you truly want instead of feeling like you have to have it all.
Doesn't it feel so satisfying when you see that newly cleaned makeup? It feels great when you go to use them too because you just breathe in a sigh of relaxation since makeup and the process of putting it on is such a joy for us!
ohh this video is just in time, i was having coffee near a sephora during lunchtime and was sooo tempted to go in and check out what holiday collections have come in. im still lemming so hard for the KVD metal mattes palette but after tax and shipping (non us resident) it will come up to almost a $100 omg, have to keep telling myself not to spend this money frivously because i am never going to use the colourful shades. im also guilty of forgetting what i own but now its because im out of storage space so i 'stack' them together which just means i have too much gah
Ouch for the high cost! That makes things less enticing for me for sure! The KVD metal matte palette certainly is gorgeous though. I thought a little bit about it but I agree that some of the colorful shades aren't enough for me to justify spending the money and I do have similar options already that I should give my time and energy to. I'm also guilty of stacking things together and I forget too quickly about them so I am done with storing it all out of sight because its not working for me anymore. I have shelves in my closet so I lined up the products so that I see them every time I open the door but then I still get my neat and tidy urge satisfied because I can close the door. Its working out so much more efficiently for me but still that swift kick I feel I need to be ok with what's there and to keep working hard to move it out!
Just reorganized my Alex drawers totally helped me tell myself I don't need this at the VIB rouge sale. Treating the sale as a time to restock up on items I'm completely out of with no back ups. My goal for 2017 is to make a serious dent in my stash. I'm going to buy a foundation and focus on skincare at the Rouge sale. What palette are you going to pan for 2017? I think an updated video on your makeup stash after shopping it in 2016 would be a nice video for year end. 💄💄💅🏻💅🏻
Holls excellent goals! It's going to make a difference once you get into your groove! Next year I will tackle the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and co tiniest rotating other palettes in as I finish shades. I've taken stock of what I have to dupe those highlighting and transition shades and plan is to power through the glitter shades-going to take loads of hard work but it's worth it!
Having a lot of lipsticks that has lasted years makes me not really want to wear certain colors just when its the appropriate season for them, if that makes sense. For example I have a few purple and berry toned lipsticks that are 2 or 3 years old that have been used a lot but aren't used enough because during the spring and summer months I feel confined to wearing more bright and vibrant colors. And vice versa. I've learned to just throw the whole "seasonal colors" rule out the window because I feel like I wasn't getting a ton of use out of all of my lipsticks.
Floralisa I agree-there's always a time and place for any color especially now with so many options for eye looks. We aren't limited like we used to feel.
Yes I agree. I always wear what I want when I want. During certain seasons maybe a certain color will show up In my looks more often, but I'm not discouraged from wearing things.

Izza Ismail no, I am not officially on a no buy. I do keep an eye on what I'm spending bc I'm only picking up a few items and I will receive makeup for Christmas so it's been easy to just enjoy these awesome products at my leisure but still be resourceful.
I love that!! I am pretty good about it too because I don't like the dust of shadow to accumulate on my things. I have a white countertop so I am constantly wiping down products and the makeup area. I too love looking at new stuff so its beneficial for me to make it "new to me" on a regular basis! Soul sisters in panning!!!!!
Amber F I am glad I am not the only one doing it 😁 My countertop is light pink hahaha I love you way of thinking about using your stuff. Do you know snupps? It is an amazing app to organise your stuff. I always look at it when I want to buy something and I realise I have far to much. For example when I count now I would say I have 3 perfumes, when I go to snupps I see oh I have 3 perfumes, 3 mini's and 5 testers. Let me know when you join snupps.
This lipstick is AWESOME in color- not too dark of a red but its still intentional. The formula is a little drying but I do not mind that in a red lipstick because it means that I don't have to worry about it moving all over the place!

Can I just say you've put road stripe on the brain for me and I am thinking I found something close from bare minerals-I will think of you every time I wear it when I start working into the chocolate bar palette with candied violet!

its so easy and I now prefer the subtle look of the eyeshadow instead of trying to smudge out the pencil. I know I have a ton of colors just laying around so its very satisfying to know that I can show them some more love and attention vs accumulating more pencils like I used to! Have fun trying out your shadows on the lashline!
Great Tips Amber! Next Year I'm going on a major makeup restricted budget! But I agree with you on so many levels! I love organization but I'm like you out of sight out of mind. I have also decided to reorganize my vanity do that my blushes are more visible!

This is coming at a time when I think a lot of us need it. Holiday sets? Oh man... Changing up organisation and stash. I think this is perfect. Thank you for these tips Amber. I am going to do some reorganization this weekend to remind myself what I have and check my lipsticks. A video idea for you to consider - I would love to see how you multi-task products, especially using eyeshadow for contour and highlight, do you use a larger brush in the small pans? Fingers? Small brush, then sheer it out with a large brush? I can experiment, but would like to know what works for you and other project planners who multi-task products.
You bet, Gina. I often show the multitasking in the grwm videos I have posted. I use the brush for what I'm trying to accomplish into the eyeshadow pan- so highlighting I will take my Real Techniques contour brush because its small and tapered into the eyeshadow pan and then use it to highlight cheeks, chin, center of forehead and nose. Then I'll go back with the eye brush (like MAC 217 size) that I use on my eyes and dust that highlighting shade on my cupid's bow. Contouring brushes, blush brushes I also use in the eye pans because you can press in the bristles or lightly tap/brush across the shadow before applying it to your face and you are good to go! I also have used my finger in the powder before applying if I'm going to ombre a lip or stamp something lighltly into my inner corners but I make sure my hands are clean and I spray the powder down with rubbing alcohol when I am finished with my makeup to sanitize it from anything that might have still been on my finger. Hope that helps!

thank you so much for making this video. I'm trying to clean out my collection. the struggle is real! I sucks at doing project pans. I've been trying to do them for two years now. I've never been able to stick with it. I've recently started putting 20 items in a bin and forcing myself to use them, and decided if I love it or hate.
Keep working hard at it and you are going to find your rhythm. When I first started panning in 2012 you could call it a continuous fail- I hit so many walls and got discouraged. I finally started getting hopeful as I finished eyeliner pencils I'd had for a long time and then a small travel size body spray and then the last of a buxom lip gloss and then a foundation. I kept a bath and body works bag handy to remind me of empties and I gave myself a time frame of 6mo to see what I could finish. The bag filling up kept me motivated and knowing I would be moving gave me more incentive to get through at least something. Then after I moved I set a new goal to see what I could finish in the first year of being in our home because I proved to myself that I could finish makeup. You can do this too- I know it, just keep plugging at it, stay motivated jumping into a seasonal panning challenge and you will surprise yourself when you have your "AHA" moment! Everything clicks and then starts to fall into place with more ease because you will build your confidence to take on a little more.

Great tips! I have some problem with that "What if I missed something out without having that product" and that makes me sad. From this week on I really really want to use up my "old" makeup.
You can do it, Mima! It took me a long time and a big learning curve to get to where I am now but its worth all the hard work along the way. Its going to feel weird for a bit as you go back into shopping your collection vs buying new makeup but you will feel so satisfied as you start to hit pan and finish makeup off out of the stash! Have lots of fun rediscovering those hidden gems in your collection!

Amber I could use these tips not only to control my spending on makeup but also other areas like crafting stuff and books. I forget what I have and don't take the time to organize/play with what I own. Things fall to the bottom of my stuff and I repurchase those same size knitting needles or even books that I can't find. Crazy huh?
Terri Burgess oh Terri, it happens to me too. Makeup is always a constant love for me but everything else feels like intense phases that pile up. I knit/crochet so you know the needles, patterns and skeins overtake a closet in a heartbeat! That was quite an undertaking but I've gotten it to where I want. I also had to tackle other areas of my life like the scads of clothes to get to a capsule wardrobe, the handbags to get down to only what I truly use, the cookbooks bc let's be honest life gets tough and it's easy to find great ideas online and accessories bc I certainly don't need all the excess with the capsule wardrobe. It's hard work but it's paying off now that the stress is gone.

Elisabeth Brounbjerg Christensen have fun rediscovering. I do it periodically while panning so I give some new life to the fit and it makes a big difference for me and then I get the extra push from seeing the obvious progress so it's less and less boredom the closer I get to the finish line.

And btw, I don't watch many hauls any more because I end up feeling like cosmetics companies are just putting out the same things over and over again, only in different shiny pretty packaging.

Amber Paredes Sometimes I will get excited by a new palette, but when I go into a store to see and swatch it in person, I realize that if I'm being honest with myself, the 3-5 shades I can really use are ones I already have in 2-3 other palettes at home. not everyone is like emilynoel83, who can make any color combo look good on herself. i can really pull off about 3 combos that look good, with one really being the best, and i might be able do a few more but they are not going to he as flattering. i seriously do not need to buy any more palettes at all. period. haha
jcjccmz I don't agree with this. For me emilynoel always wears pink eyeshadow and I've stopped watching her because she still wears the same yet is recording blogs about new products that she doesn't appear to use! I applaud videos like this because Amber actually uses what she has. The consumerism of haul videos galls me! There, I'll put my soapbox away x
Val Martin Hi, I find what you are saying very interesting! I still watch Emily because she is likable and she is one of the few on youtube who reviews PR samples that are sent to her for free as if she had to pay hard-earned $ for them. But I have learned that I personally cannot use much of what she likes/recommends because our facial features and skin types are so different. That is the main point of what I meant, and she does seem to constantly talk about wearing/loving different kinds of shades when she points them out in new palettes. She has deep eye sockets with a lot of lid space and I have no crease and a tiny lid space. It would just look ridiculous if I tried to wear a lot of any color around my eyes, so my main point is that I recognize this and so i do not waste my money buying any of the pretty new eye shadow palettes that come out. It will probably take 20 years to pan just The Chocolate Bar palette that I have, let alone the 3-4 others that I own, so I am just saying "no" to buying any more palettes. And just so you know, she has recently worn a mint-green eye look, but she does wear a lot of purples on her eyes. Any way, I think we both agree that the crazy consumerism that is being pushed all over youtube is really unpleasant.
I bought lots of skincare and gifts for Christmas for the 20% sale. I've been panning/using up everything. Something that has definitely helped me with my collection is deciding to go cruelty free with all my products. I know that it's not for everyone, but it's helped me. I'm panning those non-cruelty free products and then getting excited about makeup again. Because there's the research of looking for new brand to buy from to test out, which is always the fun part. And it helps you to not to buy, because a lot of brands are not cruelty free, but you don't feel deprived. I feel like it makes it not just about myself, but that my choices are affecting something bigger, and all my purchases towards cruelty free items in the future will make me feel even better. It just makes me happy and also makes me feel that I'm not just a shopping sheep sucked into every little hype, which is why I was so knee deep in products to begin with.
That is fantastic, Lynn! I'm steadily working my way into having fewer products from non cruelty free companies as well so it gives me a lot of inspiration and motivation to see that you are well on your way to achieving it for yourself. I agree that it makes it a lot easier to not feel tempted because you know I hope that with more of us choosing to go cruelty free it will help make larger changes across the board in all brands and companies in how they conduct their research and product development!
it took me YEARS but i finlly got past the hoarding stage and now i buy and use versus buy and hoard. and i finally tossed those old cosmetics out. hard to do but gotta do it....

I live in the UK and we don't have the amount of choice instore that you folks in the US have. We also cannot return items so I am always wary of ordering online. My downfall used to be the QVC TSV kits where I would buy a kit for 1 or 2 items. I've now found a Feb group that sells off kit items and has a fair pricing policy. I do look at swatches online too to see if I have similar colours.
QVC is the ultimate master of sucking me in. They are simply brilliant with sucking us in with those product demos. I finally had to quit watching QVC because it was too easy to instantly order on my phone and then once I dropped cable its been even easier to not get into it because generally going to the website allows me to change my mind about buying the makeup. That is awesome to hear that you can use the Facebook group to just catch up on what you truly want instead of feeling like you have to have it all.

ohh this video is just in time, i was having coffee near a sephora during lunchtime and was sooo tempted to go in and check out what holiday collections have come in. im still lemming so hard for the KVD metal mattes palette but after tax and shipping (non us resident) it will come up to almost a $100 omg, have to keep telling myself not to spend this money frivously because i am never going to use the colourful shades. im also guilty of forgetting what i own but now its because im out of storage space so i 'stack' them together which just means i have too much gah
Ouch for the high cost! That makes things less enticing for me for sure! The KVD metal matte palette certainly is gorgeous though. I thought a little bit about it but I agree that some of the colorful shades aren't enough for me to justify spending the money and I do have similar options already that I should give my time and energy to. I'm also guilty of stacking things together and I forget too quickly about them so I am done with storing it all out of sight because its not working for me anymore. I have shelves in my closet so I lined up the products so that I see them every time I open the door but then I still get my neat and tidy urge satisfied because I can close the door. Its working out so much more efficiently for me but still that swift kick I feel I need to be ok with what's there and to keep working hard to move it out!

Just reorganized my Alex drawers totally helped me tell myself I don't need this at the VIB rouge sale. Treating the sale as a time to restock up on items I'm completely out of with no back ups. My goal for 2017 is to make a serious dent in my stash. I'm going to buy a foundation and focus on skincare at the Rouge sale. What palette are you going to pan for 2017? I think an updated video on your makeup stash after shopping it in 2016 would be a nice video for year end. 💄💄💅🏻💅🏻
Holls excellent goals! It's going to make a difference once you get into your groove! Next year I will tackle the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and co tiniest rotating other palettes in as I finish shades. I've taken stock of what I have to dupe those highlighting and transition shades and plan is to power through the glitter shades-going to take loads of hard work but it's worth it!
Having a lot of lipsticks that has lasted years makes me not really want to wear certain colors just when its the appropriate season for them, if that makes sense. For example I have a few purple and berry toned lipsticks that are 2 or 3 years old that have been used a lot but aren't used enough because during the spring and summer months I feel confined to wearing more bright and vibrant colors. And vice versa. I've learned to just throw the whole "seasonal colors" rule out the window because I feel like I wasn't getting a ton of use out of all of my lipsticks.
Floralisa I agree-there's always a time and place for any color especially now with so many options for eye looks. We aren't limited like we used to feel.
Yes I agree. I always wear what I want when I want. During certain seasons maybe a certain color will show up In my looks more often, but I'm not discouraged from wearing things.

Izza Ismail no, I am not officially on a no buy. I do keep an eye on what I'm spending bc I'm only picking up a few items and I will receive makeup for Christmas so it's been easy to just enjoy these awesome products at my leisure but still be resourceful.

I love that!! I am pretty good about it too because I don't like the dust of shadow to accumulate on my things. I have a white countertop so I am constantly wiping down products and the makeup area. I too love looking at new stuff so its beneficial for me to make it "new to me" on a regular basis! Soul sisters in panning!!!!!

It is an amazing app to organise your stuff. I always look at it when I want to buy something and I realise I have far to much. For example when I count now I would say I have 3 perfumes, when I go to snupps I see oh I have 3 perfumes, 3 mini's and 5 testers.

This lipstick is AWESOME in color- not too dark of a red but its still intentional. The formula is a little drying but I do not mind that in a red lipstick because it means that I don't have to worry about it moving all over the place!
