As a Villa fan I've far more time for a fellow Brummie who supports the Blues than the glory hunting clowns we get who follow certain fashionable clubs from London and the north west.
He's a professional footballer, If he'd signed for us and had the tattoo removed I'd have lost some respect for him and think it was petty of somebody to ask him to do that.
why would you have a tatoo of your club in the first place?

Simon Jordan still holds a bitter grudge against Birmingham City which goes back to 20 odd years ago when steve Bruce left palace to go to Birmingham when he was chairman. He's never got over it 😂

Really West Ham v Millwall - look it up. Not saying Blues v Villa ain't nasty but there are levels. Celtic v Rangers in Scotland and Millwall v West Ham down here. Not sure how old you are but Wall v West Ham has always been ridiculous in terms if violence in the 70's to the present day when it happened. Especially before the Police became clued up.

I've been to both Highbury for the Spurs One, and both St Andrews & Villa park, not even close mate, your just a big game in North London. TBF I was at a Chelsea v Spurs that was a lot more bouncing and feisty. Villa v Blues is another level though.

They didn't tell him, they asked. It's a request that would need to be forfilled before any deal was done. He may have considered the money to he worth it and done it.
No issue with asking. I would however hope any person had the integrity to refuse and he did. As a Villa fan, I'm glad he did. I'd have thought less of him if he'd have done it. I'm also glad the club have the integrity to not have a player with a rivals badge tattooed on him.

I really like Simon Jordan and what he has to say but he failed in his attempts to get Troy Deeney to bite. Troy speaks really well and is very measured and balanced with what he thinks and says.
I hope Blues (my team) will soon be playing the s#*t (Aston Villa) on a regular and consistent basis. I will also add that it would be good to see The Baggies and Coventry up in the top flight, too.
Blues just need to secure their championship survival this season, and then next season, really have a go at getting promoted. Hopefully, the Baggies or Coventry will go up via the play-offs this.
I really dont like it that Villa are doing as well as they are as i don't want them to do well, but first and foremost, all i care about is Blues and we the fans have for the most part suffered far too long (with some successful times/moments dotted around here and there).
Going back to my original point..... please can we have more of Simon Jordan and Troy Deeney please. Both are very impressive in their own style and what they have to say.

No chance. I've been to both. Mum's Rangers, Dad's Blues. The OF is definitely top of the pile but blues villa is up there with the worst in England for hatred.
