Yes, This new Acura TLX should be my car.
Test drive for the TLX base model and Integra A-Spec. Both are great but I picked and purchased a TLX yesterday due to smooth and quiet ride, space, and great horse power. Also, the TLX base model has what I need. Don’t want to pay extra for what I don’t need. $3,000 below MSRP.
Can you advise what the A Spec has that the base model does not?
@@crumbcake11 The A spec I checked has Blindspot sensors, wireless Apple CarPlay, sporty pedals, and little storage under dashboard, gear shift, and touchscreen.
Great review, my dude. I'm thinking of getting the type S . My bro just got the RDX type S
I'd buy a base. I'm ready to trade in the fusion sport but the wife like a zero payment the past 2 years 😅
Thanks for the great review of the base trim tlx. Looking to purchase one since I feel that this has the all the important features you need day to day without going broke. It has the same engine for all the trims so the only thing I think you will miss from those higher trims are the ventilated seats and els speakers. I don’t really listen to high volume in my car (my wife as well don’t like it if I even attempt to make it a little louder). I will be pretty happy with this base. For some reason, I feel like the 18 in rims on the base looks better than the higher trims styling and bigger rims at 19 in.
You’re welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch and share. I appreciate your time!
_Nice video, beautiful car!_
Great value
Hi back!! ❤🎉
TLX owners often turn their nose up at the base model. But the difference between a Tech (which I own) and base are pretty minor and cosmetic. Which makes the Base a very good way to get into an Acura with a phenomenal engine, 10 gear DCT and 99% of the bells and whistles.
Acura did away with the Base model for the 24 year when they simplified from 4 models and 2 drivetrains to just 3 models period. The lots around here still have a relatively large number of 23 base models they are trying to clear out. I imagine there are going to be some good incentives and deals to be had if someone wanted to get one.
It’s not a DCT
Totally agree Base Integra is the best option out of all civic and Integra trims. The rest seem way overpriced
How? For $2-3 grand more than a Civic Touring you're getting 20 more hp (hardly noticeable) and a worse sound system. Even if you want a manual it makes a lot more sense to get a Civic Si.
I fail to see any value in the Integra-there's too much Civic in it and that's not even an insult because the new Civic is a very good car.
As for the TLX while performance and technology have increased over the previous generation, so has the price, which kind of negates the whole idea of the TLX. It's still cheaper than its German and Lexus counterparts but not by much and it's just not as well-engineered.
We just purchased a 21 tlx base. Got a fairly good deal. It is a fine car all around. We previously had an accord exl. Very similar car but this is a step up in ride quality and performance.
Does it come with ambient lighting?
@@FadozTLX no I does not
@@harryhowell5644 is it anyway you can get it equipped
What kind of tint is that? It's got a bluish tint to it.
I have a 2023 TLX I wasn't too sure about the car before I bought it but let me tell you it is worth the money. I bought the baseline.
Very nice-looking vehicle overall on the outside. Like the pin stripe. The standard sunroof is fine with me. I can't stand the Track Pad at all. I prefer a touch screen infomat system. Lot of car for $40,050 dollars at today's prices. Thanks for the great review!
I think they went track pad since they set the screen so far back on the dash.
@@PaulBruinFan I think so, but I also think it is a mistake they will regret.
Definitely need higher trim, the leather interior will be much nicer. Canada doesn't even have this trim level, aspec is the base trim.
Gonna pickup a 2021 with the technology package and 6k miles for $31,000 plus tax
Nice!
That’s a steal
That’s a solid deal
Thanks for the review. Very helpful!
I could certainly like the car very much without all the extra bells and whistles. I wouldn't enjoy putting premium gas in it, though, and am not a big fan of the non-touch screen in Acura's. I would probably opt for an Accord Touring over the TLX and get all the gadgets for about $2000 less.
This vehicle is so poorly engineered compared to a Civic. The safety features are behind a camera on the windscreen on the Civic. This has all kinds of crap that’ll cost $$$ to replace and fix. The Civic has more trunk space and passenger space and is a foot shorter. This uses a track pad for Apple CarPlay. The real killer: SH-AWD is $8,000 extra.
A Civic over an Acura? k......
This looks awful!!! Idk why acura insisted on simplifying their brand it looks like a honda/mazda. The older TLs and TLX are so much nicer.
