Hey Ryan, I was up at the Pass while you were filming. I see my Outback in one of your scenes (16:55). I was making coffee at the lake, enjoying the scenery. You apologized for making any noise. It was fun to see a car like that Acura up there kicking around in the dirt, not the normal rigs that go up there. I bought my 2020 Outback based on some of your reviews. Thank you.

@@pope9349 love my 2012 3.5 but this tlx is really nice, so is the 2015 model imo. this car is about as big as mine though, I wanted a TL quality TLX with things like double wish bones that the TLX originally dropped. My car is too wide for my clumsyness and my cracks mirror blinker shows. But this looks sportier than mine in everyway especially with the v6. i'm not a fan of downsizing the engine and adding a turbo and the j35 was proven especially on Acuras without vcm

I don’t think it really matters. How often are you really having 6’ adults in the back seat? If you’re that worried about space, average Jane would go for the RDX anyway. I’d say the higher ride height, trends, and the “prestige” of owning a CUV plays way more of a factor for the downfall of sedans. If space and practicality mattered so much, the wagon and minivan segments should be the most popular vehicles by a wide margin.

It is a good looking sedan. Price is not bad for the segment(Especially with awd). I'd say that this is possibly geared towards young professionals(With/without kids), hence why 4 adults would be uncomfortable here. Cannot wait for the FI V6. When it comes to the transmission/shifting, it seems like the German Trio have this dialed in(For a while now of course).
Zero to sixty? not bad for a 4 cylinder, therefore as a whole, the price is not great but not bad either. The snow/O.R. portion is why this car is a serious contender(With the only hindrance being ground clearance). Great Review as always Ryan.. Thank you!!!!

However, if you were to recommend a solid high performance all season or grand touring tire. Which would you recommend? (For living in states like Utah and Colorado)

Thanks for watching. I've had good luck with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS in the past. We've been running the Vredestein Quatrac Pros on our long-term Subaru Outback XT, which have been good and are decent for snow. But size and availability of that exact tire is limited in N America.

@@drivingsports I'm watching the Genesis off-road video now. I love this car from all the videos I've seen!
As for the tires I've heard good things on the Michelins, and I've heard good things about the Quatrac Pros too. I know a lot of people run the Continental DWS's (Dry Wet Snow) performance all seasons a lot here in Utah.
The problem with performance all seasons, is they just don't have the mileage longevity of a touring tire. Plus I'm sure a touring tire is much more comfortable. Lol.

SH-AWD is the only one that offers side to side rear torque vectoring.
bmw and Audi only offer that on their high end M and S models which are more than twice the price.
