A friend of mine always adds boiled eggs to his. That takes chicken and dumplings to another level.

If I were to make this I would sub the chicken broth with beef broth since beef goes with beef and chicken goes with chicken. Since it's a cheese burger soup.
You can do either one. It really doesn’t make much difference .

That’s a culinary “law” I’ve never heard of; glad my family survived my cooking all these years
I see most "professoonal" chefs/cooks on TV use chicken broth instead of beef broth for everything calling for broth. I looked up why one day. It's because most commercial beef broths taste fake and chicken broth has a milder and richer flavor. And goes with everything. Unless of course you make homemade beef broth. 😊
@@donnastratton8397 @donnastratton8397 it a preference for me .ive tried pork and beef with chicken broth and it made me sick . I use better than bullion . I can't eat hot dogs made with pork and chicken because it makes me sick to my stomach. My comment was taken wrong. The great thing is everyone's taste buds are different and you can take a recipe and make it your own ,to your own taste buds. I was simply stating I would change it to the way i like it or prefer it.
