We have always referred to the liquid in the bean pot as pot liquor, and it is made for sopping up with cornbread. I love y'all. My husband will ask me after I have cooked a new recipe that he liked if it was a "Mandy" recipe.

I was in the middle of placing my Walmart delivery order for next week when your video hit. I stopped shopping and started to watch the video, hit pause and went back to the Walmart site, added cube steak, gravy packages and an onion. I think people like to see you once-in-a-while at the sink doing the hand cleaning, even when you 're eating at the table and feeding the cat, may also need a little hand washing. It just shows a good clean perception of you and can deter other thoughts people may have but I they don't mean any harm. I feel its a job indeed to even make videos like this cause you are putting your family out there. Thank you for all you do.
Mandy, you really need to get the Green Pan Slow Cooker. You can brown and sear in it so your recipes are done in one pot. I love mine so much. I enjoy watching you and the Commentater!

Wow, I was raised in WV, my Mom fixed Pinto Beans at least twice a week. She always parr boiled her beans, and so do I. Let them boil about three minutes, drain and rinse well. If you let your water come to a boil and put in the crackpot when cooking beans, they cook a lot better.
Mandy, I love watching new cooked. Don't get me wrong but I thoroughly enjoy listening to your husband he is the cutest little thing and very handsome but I love it when he says we're just a bunch of people sitting around the table. Can I buy? That's what he really feels like LOL he's amazing. I think he's a keeper.
When I was much younger. One of my aunts would always wait for a good burp from her husband at the end of dinner . She said it was a compliment to her good cooking and meant he was full and enjoyed the meal 🤭

I love your story of your grandmother cooking pinto beans. My grandmother used to cook, delicious beans as well. She had this blue and white spoon that she used for cooking, and I always admired it. When she passed away, she had left it to me, I was 10 years old. Im 60 years old and still use it, I. plan on leaving it to my granddaughter.❤

A burp just means it was an enjoyable meal! My wife and I love the love y'all show each time. However, my wife has a love-hate relationship with your channel. She loves the food you show but hates that I run to the grocery store to make some so quickly after watching an episode!😅
Mandy, someone probably already told you but when you were having trouble with rolling out your dough, if it keeps snapping back on you you need to let it rest in-between. Make Strombolis all the time for my family using that dough. They are a fantastic hit. Love the interaction between you and your family in keeping it real, makes me laugh . Thank you.😊
I have a carb kitten….I just adopted her 3 weeks ago and she’s already a people food eater….she reminds me so much of my old man that passed away last year at 16 years old….she’s been the perfect addition to my house… Anyway, she loves pizza crust, crackers, tortillas, and rice….cornbread will be next..

I usually buy a bag of onions, then dice or slice them the same or next day. I put them in snack baggies, then put them in a gallon freezer bag. They are prepared for when I need them. Saves time and doesn't give them the chance to go bad.
I’m a Born and Breed Texan… “76” years and I have never made my chili with chuck roast…. And I’m going to have to try it! Looks yummmmmeeeeee! I also have to confess because I was raised by Yankee parents who moved to Texas from New York City before I was born.. I have always put beans in my chili! I know I’m probably going to be taken off the true red Texas list. I have a really good excuse besides my Yankee parents I raised 3 beautiful sons who could eat you out of house and home.. so the beans stretched that chili to fill their tummy’s! YeeHaw!

Just wanted to write and say that you and Steven have been a blessing the last couple of days. Wendesday night there was a mass shooting here in Maine and the shooter was at large until Friday night when he was found deceased do to his own hand. Steven's reactions made me laugh when needed it most. Bless you both and Gracie Lynn is just a bundle of cuteness. God bless you all and keep up the good work.
These easy crockpot recipes will be great to try this week, we have such a busy schedule. so easy meals work, also you both make me and my family laugh when we watch you, Thanks
Mandy, old saying for an after dinner burp: ‘Not bad manners; just great food!’ Remember, in many cultures it is extremely rude to not burp after a meal. To not burp shows the cook you didn’t like it enough to “eat yourself full”.
That cube steak looked delicious. I always fry mine until it stops bleeding, then in a casserole dish I mix 1 can cream of celery and 1 can cream of GOLDEN mushroom with about a cup of milk and half a stick of butter (you don't have to melt it, but you can) and thin out the soup enough to make a sauce, but not runny. Then I add yellow american cheese tore up slices, usually about a slice per steak. then put your steak in your sauce and bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes. Low and slow makes for more tender steak.
I just love you two!! I will have to try the Texas chili for sure. I've never been a fan of the beans in chili! Thank you for some great dinner inspiration, as always, Mandy! :)
I also watch Brenda Gantt cook and she makes her cornbread in an iron skillet in the oven also. She said that which ever iron skillet you use, use it ONLY for the cornbread because if you use it for other things then go back to cooking your cornbread it will stick.
If you do the cube steak like that,or round steak cut into serving size portions, add a bunch of sliced onions and a couple cans of diced tomatoes, salt and pepper only. I usually in oven at 350°, covered. It works in crock pot too. Swiss Steak ❤

Authentic Texas chili doesn’t have tomatoes or beans. But this one does look delicious!! I like all types!!

I'm a old Great Grandmaw and I've cooked my whole life and never used a recipe! Just tell or show me and I can cook it! Lotsa times, I can taste food and tell you whats in it! Mandy, someone probably already told you but when you were having trouble with rolling out your dough, if it keeps snapping back on you you need to let it rest in-between. Make Strombolis all the time for my family using that dough. They are a fantastic hit. Love the interaction between you and your family in keeping it real, makes me laugh .

I have a carb kitten….I just adopted her 3 weeks ago and she’s already a people food eater….she reminds me so much of my old man that passed away last year at 16 years old….she’s been the perfect addition to my house…
Anyway, she loves pizza crust, crackers, tortillas, and rice….cornbread will be next..

I usually buy a bag of onions, then dice or slice them the same or next day. I put them in snack baggies, then put them in a gallon freezer bag. They are prepared for when I need them. Saves time and doesn't give them the chance to go bad.
I’m a Born and Breed Texan… “76” years and I have never made my chili with chuck roast…. And I’m going to have to try it! Looks yummmmmeeeeee! I also have to confess because I was raised by Yankee parents who moved to Texas from New York City before I was born.. I have always put beans in my chili! I know I’m probably going to be taken off the true red Texas list. I have a really good excuse besides my Yankee parents I raised 3 beautiful sons who could eat you out of house and home.. so the beans stretched that chili to fill their tummy’s! YeeHaw!
You're forgiven. I don't put beats on my chili but, I will make a pot of beans if someone who wants beans is coming to dinner.

Wendesday night there was a mass shooting here in Maine and the shooter was at large until Friday night when he was found deceased do to his own hand. Remember, in many cultures it is extremely rude to not burp after a meal. To not burp shows the cook you didn’t like it enough to “eat yourself full”.
That cube steak looked delicious. I always fry mine until it stops bleeding, then in a casserole dish I mix 1 can cream of celery and 1 can cream of GOLDEN mushroom with about a cup of milk and half a stick of butter (you don't have to melt it, but you can) and thin out the soup enough to make a sauce, but not runny. Then I add yellow american cheese tore up slices, usually about a slice per steak. then put your steak in your sauce and bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes. Low and slow makes for more tender steak.

I also watch Brenda Gantt cook and she makes her cornbread in an iron skillet in the oven also. She said that which ever iron skillet you use, use it ONLY for the cornbread because if you use it for other things then go back to cooking your cornbread it will stick.
If you do the cube steak like that,or round steak cut into serving size portions, add a bunch of sliced onions and a couple cans of diced tomatoes, salt and pepper only. I usually in oven at 350°, covered. It works in crock pot too. Swiss Steak ❤
