Can we talk about how she takes weeks to try out her products before recommending it?? Everything she recommends is backed up with scientific facts and the overall experience of using it! Absolutely amazing.
Are you dating her??? Lol. She's a dermatologist with a YT channel. Of course, she'll do that.
@@la381 yeah you jelly? đ„șđ„șđ„ș
Over the counter products donât have serious clinical studies behind. They are for mass production and least side effects.
I'd rather talk about my man Kirby chilling in the back... But yes, good real life use and research is amazing.

You have no idea how much you have save me from all kind of skin disasters as well as over spending. Love you so much Dr Drayyyyy đđđđ
Same here ! Quality at the ânice price âđ any product Dr D suggested , I have always been pleased !
My husband is a cancer survivor and had received radiation treatment on his neck and mouth. He was left with damaged skin from these treatments. Nothing helped. Snail serum has been amazing. His skin looks so much smoother and he is happy.
So Dr. Dray, I stopped your video to make these comments before they slip my mind. I can discern that you are a very good doctor by not only your personal knowledge of these products but by your broad spectrum of care for your youtubers and paitents. The fact that you mention that the ointment may be difficult for those with mobility issues really struck me. You also mention those living in various climates and those with certain conditions where a different product may be better. I am impressed. Also, as a side note, love the red top! Love the bright colors you've been wearing & your hair! đ
and her skin looks even better now than when she first starting making these videos
Exactly! She has no idea how much her product recommendations have helped me. And if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have known about Urea too. My skin has never felt this smooth because of it! And yes, she's very considerate about others' situations too. đâ€ïž
Agreed. So thoughtful.
@@langyd4518 She's also wearing more makeup.
I'm so, so glad someone mentioned this, let alone did it justice. I could not put into words how much I appreciate her awareness. đ„čâ€ïž
When difficult to narrow down to 10 would enjoy hearing a part two OR more than 10 item's. You educate but also help and bring a smile. Thank you!
I live in Japan and discovered Hada Labo through Dr. Dray and now I just buy lots of Hada labo stuff from the local drugstores. I just love the SPF 50 white gel. Itâs my favorite spf for the face and I even got my husband to use it as a day cream. At night we use the hyaluronic perfect gel. I also love the foaming cleanser and use the hyaluronic milky lotion under the gels.
Hey, can you tell me where I can purchase cerave products in Japan? Or the Ordinary? I cannot find them in Kyoto. Pls help.
Love these type of videos and learning about your âgo toâ products. Iâll be forever grateful for your recommendation for Vanicream. My son struggles with Eczema and that is the only lotion that does not sting his skin.
As a guy, I took a leap of faith with the Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 cream. This was before I really knew anything about skincare and was just beginning. Once I really started getting more into skincare and the ingredients in products is when I started to question some things in my routine, including this. It's a huge relief to hear your insight about this product because I relatively felt the same of whether it was just in my head but it really helped with keeping my skin hydrated and leaving a smooth texture to my skin. I use this both morning & night and you really need only a dime-size amount for your entire face! It's amazing. Also, to combat the stringiness she mentions in the video, I began using a tongue depressor as a way to get the cream out to avoid the stringiness by getting the amount I need on one side then flipping over and scraping the excess off on the edge and usually you don't get the stringiness along with it. Then I just put it in my hand and apply to the face from there! I don't know if this is good or bad to do but it has worked for me. I'm just not a fan of dipping my fingers into a jar repeatedly, whether that makes a difference or not, idk.
Thank goodness it now comes in a tube!
@@MyCrownstar Over the course since making this comment I have continued using this moisturizer and it is still my go to. I've only used 1 jar since (3.52oz). If that at all can give a representation to those interested of how little you need to keep your skin nice and moisturized!
I'm glad to hear there are more options for people! Personally, I'm going to stick with the jar version of this product as over time I've become accustom to using it this way. It's also made me happy with knowing I can get every last bit of product out of the jar! In comparison to my sunscreen that comes in a tube, I've had to cut it open when I thought I ran out only to notice I had about 3-4 more uses left! If you use the tube version, consider doing this to make sure you get the most out of your product and get your money's worth! :)
Hands down THE best skin-care advice.
I love, love, love your videos! Honest, non-biased information and real product names we can purchase. Are you considering Part 2, with another 10 favorite products? Thank you for helping us all.
After following you for well over a year, I have changed my skincare routine. I have used the Eucerin Daily SPF 30 as my moisture lotion for many years because of its light non-greasy feel, but I have added several new products to my skincare arsenal. ColoreScience Tinted Mineral Sunscreen, Vanicream facial cleanser, Vanicream moisturizer for the face, Cerave nighttime facial moisture, adapalene gel, and body sunscreens from Cerave, Neutragena, or Eucerin. Cerave healing ointment is a must-have, and I now reapply sunscreen during the day. I've also trie the Kerasal foot ointment--it's a lot less expensive than a pedicure. Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge
Iâve been watching you since the beginning and always loved your product honesty. Im So proud Of your channel growth. â€ïž
I've been watching your videos for about a year now! I am a recovering "natural/clean" products user with eczema and a list of random allergies that cause dermatitis (formaldehyde, propolis, fragrance). After years of avoiding things like petroleum jelly and certain preservatives I finally purchased some of the products you've recommended here and in other videos and even after a couple of days my skin is so much happier!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for lifting the veil of marketing that I've been falling for that "natural" is always better!
After watching your videos and doing some research, I love CeraVe. I have purchased multiple CeraVe products and have never been disappointed. Also, I appreciate that you are reviewing OTC products and giving recommendations pertaining skin type, climate, activity.... Thank you so much!
CosRX Snail 92 is my favorite! Glad to know there's a bit of evidence to back up my personal experience
I didn't realize how much of an impact you've had on my skin care routines until I watched this and realized I have almost all of these. Hadn't heard of many of them before you talked about them. These are really great, effective products. And most are very affordable. Thank you!
Same!!! And skin has never looked better.
Yes! Same! I keep smiling at all the great products I love too!â
Dr. Dray, youâre very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Youâre young but very experienced and wise!
I love your content. Thank you for doing what youâre doing!
Thanks for watching
Using four out of these Dr. Dray thanks to you. YES and YES to Hada Labo Cleansing Oil...a holy grail of mine đ.
That Kerasal is one of my new holy grails thanks to you! Loved every recommendation of yours that I've tried!
I love the Aveeno oat gel rather than the Neutrogena hydro boost. That will forever be in my routine, and I learned about it on this channel!âșïž
Omg can we mention just how glowing Dr.Dray is looking these days, omg⊠Blessings! Absolutely beautiful :â)
I am team Cerave & Aquaphor on the healing ointment game. I love the Cerave ointment for under my eyes and slugging but nothing helps my lips like Aquaphor. I will never go back to any regular old chapstick. I would never have tried either of these products if it werenât for your suggestions. Thanks for all the amazing content, Dr. Dray!! â€ïž
Elf Happy Hydration has been a savior device ever since I first tried it. My skin loves it!
The Hadalabo Cleansing Oil is my absolute favorite! Love the refills too! I also love their Premium Lotion.
I always repurchase the cetaphil mineral liquid sunscreen, thanks to you. I don't skip a day. It's light, inexpensive and beautiful on the skin. đ
Thoughts on Dr Drayâs repurchases from someone with mature, dry, sensitive skin: 1.Hadalabo cleansing oil is my đŻ holy grail! 2. Iâve found no improvement to skin quality, texture, healing from the CosRx snail mucin products for my mature dry sensitive skin. 3. Cerave healing ointment is fabulous. The whole family uses & loves. Itâs tied with our love of Aquaphor. 4. Vanicream is also a family fave, definitely prefer over Cerave body lotionâs more waxy texture. 5. Not a fan of the LP (too shiny) but love the DRMTLGY untinted spf. 6. NG facial hydroboost stings, but love love Aveeno Clam & Restore. 7. I prefer DRMTLGY body exfoliating lotion (with lactic acid) for feet and hands over Kerasal or Dermatonics. Seriously no need for professional mani/pedi after using it. I definitely need to try pro cure. Has anyone else tried it for mature dry irritated skin? Hope other over 50 beauties found this helpful đ.
I'm happy I'm mot the only one who doesn't jive with the snail mucin. In theory I like it but it doesn't feel moisturizing at all. I always put a on of moisturizer on top of it. Also, I think slugging is just a better option for max hydration
@@GenXVictoria Enjoyed hearing your faves & fails from Dr Drays repurchases. It truly is so individual. Agreed the tinted DRMTLGY SPFs tend to be very orange. Thanks so much for sharing đ
Right on. With ya Sister.

Very glad to find information and help for skin problems from head to feet that have culminated just before my 76 birthday! After seeing the dermatologist, podiatrist and pharmacist my daily and nightly rountines include fluorouracil for AKs on face, hands and arms, abreva for sores on lower lip, and CeraVe SA cream for feet. Your videos are great reminders to be proactive and an active advocate for good skin care! Thank you from a New Mexico outdoors woman.
As soon as that Neutrogena gel moisturizer came up I zoned out because I had used it before and the scent was AWFUl! How funny you literally address this complaint and now I'm going to try the extra dry formula! Thank you for all the amazing videos!
Dr. Dray I just love your videos! Followed you for a very long time. Just wanted to say - I miss seeing "Mom" in them here and there as we once did. She was a delight! Especially on your outings â€ïž Hope she is doing well â€ïž
Iâve been in love with Hada Labo products. Their moisturizer with sunscreen is by far my favorite skincare product! I absolutely love it - itâs very lightweight and absorbs really well. And I love the fact that I can reapply it several times a day without making my skin feeling greasy. I got the tip here in your channel. Thank you!
Is the SPF you use in a tub?
Is that the HADA LABO UV Perfect Gel SPF50+ ? Thank you
Blistex DCT lip salve. Been using since the 80's every night. Discovered it when I was in my 20's living in Denver.
The Procure is amazing! Thanks to your recommendation and i love it. I never pay full price for it at CVS with coupons. At this point Iâm using it only on my cheeks and Iâm very happy with it.
The Kerasal ointment is a miracle worker. I do own one of the foot files and I would apply Kerasal the day after I'd file. Never on the same day or my heels would burn. But just lately I tried it on my nails. I have tried everything on my brittle ridged 66 year old nails even the Kerasal nail repair BUT! the foot ointment worked wonders and I thought hmmm wonder
what Dr Dray would say about this and lo and behold you said it!
I have to say I agree! And none of the stuff you recommended cost an arm and a leg! I so appreciate that.
You're the best!
I really love the peach slices snail line!!! Itâs a bit more afforadable and I find it really has helped heal my skin!
Hada labo- love love love this stuff. Have tried others but always go back to this one. Equally love the refills without buying another plastic bottle.
I bought the Hado labo cleansing oil based on your recommendations and Iâm so happy with it!
I tried the DRMTLGY sunscreen because of you and I love it đ
Vanicream moisturizer is my HG for my face and neck, and the CeraVe ointment for lips--all thanks to you, Dr. Dray! My dry skin drinks the Vanicream up and it's the only moisturizer I've found that can calm down irritation when I try a new product that doesn't agree with my face (sadly the cosrx snail mucin was one of them, lol). Thank you thank you thank you for all the amazing, science-based content you so generously share with us
I never wouldâve tried out the Vanicream Moisturizer if it werenât for Dr. Dray and it has worked wonders for me, too.
Vanicream is my absolute holy grail for life. I started using the Vanicream gentle cleanser when I began using Accutane when I binge-watched your Accutane videos primarily. That was probably four or almost five years ago. It is still my everyday cleanser. Just going simple and back to the basics also aided in making the most significant difference in my skin!! I also use that moisturizer occasionally. This is all thanks to you. I sincerely appreciate your recommendations, education, and honesty you constantly provide!!
Skip on in there.. I just love your videos. Clear, to the point and so informative!
Thank you! Great recommendations and very helpful descriptions! Keep these professional videos and recommendations coming!
The Kerasol is amazing. I cannot tolerate having my feet touched and HATE pedicures but I'm always barefoot so my feet are rough and gross and needed them. Not anymore. Thank you for introducing me to it, Dr. Dray!
I love everything Hada Labo! The HA serum, the milky lotion, the gel plumping creamâŠ.all so good!! Perfect for sensitive skin.
The three that I've used and repurchased are the Cerave, Vanicream and Kerasal. Love all of them. Happy Tuesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a lovely evening. đ
for anyone who gets frequent nosebleeds when its dry, i highly recommended putting a layer of ointment (like the cerave ointment or vaseline) into your nose to make moisturize the inside. i have near-constant summertime nosebleeds but the vaseline does the trick
thank you for this!! i keep getting nosebleeds this summer and am not sure why, but glad to know I am not the only one
@@nadakartika2456 It may be helpful to have a nasal culture & sensitivity swab done to see if thereâs a bacterial (eg, Staph) overgrowth causing the bleeding .
If you do this, please be really careful not to let it go down the wrong pipe if you accidentally inhale it into your throat. If the ointment/petroleum gets sucked into your lungs, you can give yourself Lipoid Pneumonia
@@Melon29813 I understand your concern, but only the tiniest bit of ointment on a swab is used in the nares, not nearly enough to make it down to the lungs.
Be careful not to use non water-based ointment in nose before going to bed as it can move into the lungs causing serious inflammation in the lungs, lipoid pneumonia.
CeraVe Healing Ointment is my must have because of seeing on here. Love it.
I LOVE the consistency of the nuetrogena one too. Iâm so glad I found it. Smoothes our skin and yes - NON GREASY!
Oh girl, I use so many of these products since watching your channel. CeraVe healing ointment is my holy grail---love, love , love it!. I also adore, vanicream gentle skin cleanser, Drmtgly sunscreen, kerasal and the hadalabo cleansing oil.
I've only started proper skincare in 2021 (I'm 46 years old, lol).đ But here are some products that I have been repurchasing (aside from Retino-A Tret and Skinoren Azelaic) :
1. Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion (w/ tranexamic)
2. Illiyoon Ato Ceramide Cream (old and new formulation)
3. Some By Mi Propolis B5 Serum
4. Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence spf 50
5. Naturekind Super Barrier Cream - I've only discovered this recently, but will definitely be a staple in my routine from now on! It's got 5% Urea, Ceramides and Centella among others!! đ
Love love love the Hada Labo Gokujun Premium Hyaluronic Acid, I purchased it multiple times đ
Following your channel since two years and I truly, deeply use it as one of my main source of information on skin care. I always look for cruelty-free alternatives to products you are recommending. I was wondering if at some point you could make a video on cruelty-free products you have tested and could recommend? Thanks again for all information shared, much appreciated!
Kerasal foot ointment! That product gives me such nostalgia with this channel, for those of us who have been watching Dr Dray for years! Putting us rosacea sufferers into remission one video at a time!đ đȘđŒ
The French formulation of Biafine that contains Trolamine is a miracle worker! Iâm also a huge fan of French pharmacy staples Embryolisse lait-crĂšme concentre and homeoplasmine as an overnight lip balm
Thank you for clarifying that it doesnât hurt the snails because Iâve been avoiding snail products for that suspicion!
Hada Labo cleansing oil has become my holy grail thanks to you! Youâve saved my skin and wallet as I was spending so much money on expensive cleansing oils and balms, yet I always come back to Hada Labo :)
Hada Labo ftw! I also use the foaming HA cleanser and the HA gel lotion. Leaned about it from you, Dr. Dray. Thank you!
I tried the PCA skin pigment gel and I definitely saw an improvement in my Melasma. Honestly, the only product that has improved my Melasma. Unfortunately, it was irritating to my skin. I ended up using the CeraVe healing ointment on my face to calm it down. I use Aquaphor on my lips. One of my favorite skin products is the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic. â€ïž
I love PCA products wish they were more affordable though
Well duh, it has alcohol as the first ingredient, alcohol, not water, which makes the bulk of the entire product đŹ I don't understand how she can recommend such a product.

You got me hooked on Procure Rosacare, and itâs been a real, game changeR with my rosacea. I use it day and night and my skin has been comfortable and beautiful for the first time in years! Thank you!
I love the Aveeno Calming, it's so good. And the cleanser is great for winter for not disturbing the barrier.
I'm definitely team aquaphor!! In the end it doesn't matter as long as it does what's supposed to right? Thanks for the great videos Dr Dray!!
Vanicream, cream & lotion were a life saver for me when I developed a fragrance intolerance. I use a squirt of each in my hand and mix them. The cream can feel weird to me by itself on my skin but together is perfect.
Vanicream is lovely isn't it? Leaves my skin so plush!
They are definitely a saving grace! The moisturizer and cleanser donât flare up my sensitive skin at all.
Excellent video! I watch a lot of your content but always look for products that you like and the reasons why. I will be watching this one over again.
I canât stop repurchasing HL cleansing oil as well! It is simple and straight to the point⊠Amazing!
You got me hooked on the Kerasal foot ointment for my scary calloused feet. Nothing else I tried has worked as well as this product. It has made a huge difference and I am no longer self conscious about my feet. Thank you!
The scraping instruments used in salons are actually bad for your callouses - your feed believe they are being âattacked or injured, so they respond with more build up. When I do get a pedicure, I refuse the foot file. Love Kerasal.
I have tried the Neutrogena HA extra dry gel cream, Hada Labo Cleansing Oil & CoSRX Snail Mucin moisturizer and theyâve become my holy grails too! I also currently have the Aveeno oat moisturizer but I still havenât opened it and now Iâm even more excited to try it. I will also definitely try the others on this top 10 lists ttoo esp the cerave ointment, kerasal & vanicream soon. thank you so much for sharing your faves Dr.Dray! đ€

I'm definitely going to try Procure Rosacare and the Neutrogena too. Thanks for sharing đŻâŁïž

Yes! At first I thought it had gotten old and turned to âconcrete.â

I use Aveeno Eczema Therapy in the jar. It helped my eczema dramatically.

I grew up on the east coast and my skin was very oily, hardly needed moisturizer. A couple years ago, I moved to Colorado and the lack of humidity in the air definitely took a toll on my skin, especially when I started using Retin-A at 0.05%. My skin needed all of the moisture and hydration! I started using the Vanicream gentle facial cleanser and the Cetaphil moisturizing cream at night and what a difference it has made with the dryness and peeling from Retin-A use. Would have never thought I would use a thick cream on my face due to my skin type, but with the dry climate and using a retinoid, I can totally relate to Dr. Dray with using more moisturizing products at her time in Colorado!
Did you know that having oily skin and therefore not needing moisturizer is a myth? When your skin becomes dehydrated, it can overcompensate by producing more oil, which can then lead to more breakouts (if acne-prone). So you can still be oily, but dehydrated at the same time. It's better to moisturize than to not. Just have to find one that's not very thick and will not suffocate your already oily skin. I have very oily skin myself and using a gel moisturizer plus a niacinamide serum really helps with keeping the oil production at a minimum.
I feel you! I live in Colorado and there is never enough moisturizer!

Vanicream is my go to for my daughters eczema! It keeps her skin so moisturized!
I've tried a LOT of Hada Labo and the only 2 I keep repurchasing is the Cleansing oil and the HA essence (premium gold) for the driest skin type. Also love the Cosrx Gel cream and the sheet mask. Hi Dr Dray. Two things. First youâre a genius. Drmytlgy is amazing and that Four Sigmatic coffee is awesome. Thank you so much. Youâre so good to us.

My mom LOVED the VANICREAM. Thanks
I love the cosrx snail mucin moisturizer too! †I have seen it in ULTA sales multiple times đ

Love the Drmtlgy moisturizer/sunscreen. Works so well under makeup. Kerasal also is great, no more calluses.
A product that I found through your videos is on the expensive side ($20) but I'm super picky with how body moisturizers feel on the skin and I have repurchased this one several times. It's the Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Nighttime Moisturizing Balm. I'll pay the extra price because fragrance free, not greasy, can put it on right before dressing or going to bed and it doesn't need dry down time, lasts a few days even with showering, works anywhere on the body and is light enough for summer and heavy enough for winter in Colorado.
Ok thanks for the advice from watching your videos Dr Dray I watch your videos in CZcams for over 4 years now
Thank you Dr Dray! So grateful to you â€ïž
My frequent repurchase that I discovered through you is the Vanicream facial cleanser. Best cleanser ever!
Same!
Does it take off mineral sunscreen?
@@leasanders3902 No it does not remove sunscreen. I use it only in the morning.
Same with me as well. I started using the Vanicream cleanser & moisturizer via Dr. Dray's recommendation after suffering through a mild Perioral Dermatitis rash during the pandemic. I fell in love with it and repurchase it often. Its gentle, cheap and does the job. :)
It has titanium dioxide, does Dr. Dray mention anything about this?
Totally agree on the Hada Labo cleansing oil, itâs also the one I compare all other cleansing oils to! I also love their hyaluronic acid emulsion (itâs a clear watery gel) which I use on damp skin under any serums or moisturizers. And their eye and lip area cream which is light and moisturizing. They really are a great brand for hydration đ
Their lotion is the bomb, and way cheaper than Neutrogena Hydroboost. Both have hyaluronic acid. I put it on first, then Timeless Vitamin C serum
