When you read off the names as you were swatching them I was confused for a moment. The shade names were reused when on the new shades! Not that I mind as much. I guess I'll get over the new pan sizes & shapes if I get the new palette. Lol! I hope they change their minds about selling the new shades as singles. 🤞🤞🤞

I'm late to the party - just watching this now. But I love having swatch videos to refer to when I am considering a palette. I just discovered Adept so it's so helpful to have videos like this to help me research which one I want!! These shades look amazing!!
I had a feeling when they discontinued the OG Plain Jane that they were going to released a remastered. Made me regret a little bit of buying the OG like a launch or two before they said anything about discontinuing it. I like my OG, but I am still figuring out the best primer for it since they tend to crease a lot on me. which makes me wonder if the new formulation is better for my eyes. I don't think that I will go out to get the remastered unless I decide to get rid of my OG and even then it's a maybe.

I’ve been checking their website whenever I see videos featuring beautiful eyeshadows they’ve made but it always looked really sparse, like they were stunted by supply chain issues or maybe just going out of business. It is a relief they reformulated this palette, since that probably explains why I can’t get any of the shadows I was looking for. I hope they start rolling out a lot of product now. I got a couple shadows from them years ago and want to try more.
Im so excited bc i got my tax refund today unexpectedly and bought this palette immediately! I have no multichromes from anyone so am super excited to get this! ❤️ I've seen a few videos about the original but since I knew I couldn't get it at the time I didn't really pay alot of attention but since they did this remastered version I'm happy I had to wait and that it was still available since I saw most of the other ones are out of stock right now. This one may be considered old by now but it is still going to be new to me!

When you swatch shimmers in the future, could you maybe show with dry brush on one eye and wet brush on the other?? I would've loved to see this with a wet brush too, since I like my shimmers the most sparkling as possible🥰

Omg im so excited to get this palette! I have the OG Plain Jane, plus the anniversary ACI10 shade(the blue shade) the Ninhydren palette, and 3 of the Amunet Nu Light palettes cuz the first one came shattered, the 2nd one came shattered so they refunded me and let me keep them, then the next time I ordered from them, they sent me another one and it came in tact, I was so shocked!

How I wish I had your eyelids. Wow, that sounded creepy. What I mean is that I wish I had actual eyelids and not profoundly hooded slits under a Neanderthal brow bone. But we all play the hand we're dealt, and I find that sparkly, shiny, shifty shadows make the most of the 2mm of lid space I do have. Thanks for doing the video!

I’d love to know if there’s a significant difference in the pan’s product; kinda think it’s a bit lacklustre to make the pans so much smaller for shade names that’re literally just numbers anyways… Don’t feel like you’d get the same value for money with the new palette, it’s like they made the pans smaller to cover extra costs for the new packaging. It’s a shame too because I was so interested in getting the remastered and now I wish I just bought the old one instead.

@@HeatherAustinmakeup This is true! However with that being said the pan size is definitely smaller now, apparently it’s 2 grams now instead of the previous 3 grams per shade! So even with the new lower prices, the cost per gram ends up making it more pricey. The OG was $62, 12 shades, at $5.17 per shade and $1.72 per gram of eyeshadow. The new remaster now is $58, 12 shades, at $4.83 per shade but works out then as $2.42 per shade. Which is I’m assuming where they’re using the extra cost for the newer packaging from!
I think it’s definitely something to be considered. It’s crazy to think jeez, with the 12 grams of lost product we could’ve gotten either 6 extra shades in the newer pan size added onto the remaster, or 4 new shades in the older pan size. I think that’s where this new remaster has me disappointed! If anything I know now to run to the Ninhydrin before they try rework and remaster that one lol! Thanks so much for being so quick with the upload too and letting us make these decisions for ourselves quicker ❤️❤️
@@iJamieM I agree. I like the new packaging and don't necessarily mind the smaller pan sizes but it also looks (based on the comparison swatches) that this new reformulated formula is less sparkly than the original. Definitely recommend the Ninhydrin though.

They should have just made a new Palette instead of changing a perfect Palette. The new shades don't look as beautiful
