He was like, "lighting in a bottle." Why is it some of the near-greats often have more than a screw loose to keep them from G.O.A.T. status? #couldashouldawoulda #skol
I said the same exact thing bro, i mean he is the only player i've EVER seen that could be a pro-bowl receiver, running back or kick/punt returner. Reggie bush couldn't play wideout full time, some of these other versatile players couldn't. Even devin hester couldn't play receiver or running back. G.O.A.T talent
I doubt he would have been a great O-Liner, but yeah I struggle to think of a more talented running back/returner than him. Wide receiver too if it weren't for me
He played at a different level. Never seen a anyone with his combination of speed, power, hands, shiftiness and instinct. That said, his most impressive attribute was his incredible toughness. He bounced off of hits (and got up after hits) like no other while getting the most out of every touch he had.
Dugan had just been victimized in the redzone on a bogus flag, taking away go-ahead TD. That flagger knew before any of us did that he was about to be trucked just like he was William Gay!
Watch his highlights at UF looked like a polished NFL player vs high schoolers. Unbelievably talented football player it’s ashamed that injury and migraines held him back from reaching full potential.
Dude was so damn explosive. Wish we could have seen him play longer but he definitely was a home run threat every time he touched the ball, on the seahawks too
they were 12-4 that year, lost in the NFC championship to the Saints. Despite fumbling 7 times and losing 4, the Vikings were in position to kick a game winning field goal at the end of regulation with the game tied, but Favre threw a bone-headed interception so the game went to overtime. The Saints got the ball first and kicked a game-winning field goal to go to the superbowl, where they proceeded to dismantle the Colts. That was the same year of Bountygate, where the Saints defensive coordinator gave payouts to players for injuring opposing players, including Brett Favre.
Favre, prime ap, and Percy... I miss those days... but this current team could do more... I just want to see one championship before I die, Vikings. Please just one...
My favtorite football player since landstown high school. It was a struggle being from midwest trying to keep up with percy during summer camps at Florida and seeing how he was at practice. Then have highlights of him shaking everybody or not heing touched lol. Boy been the truth since day 1. Percy #fan.
Harvin’s feet were so damn quick. I recall a few times he tripped himself because of it. One of the most incredible athletes I’ve seen play. Strong, quick, fast. Watching Harvin accelerate and run reminds me of watching Jeff George throw. Seems almost unreal.
1:47 what an INCREDIBLE play ruined by lazy commentators. Where's the excitement? Favre makes one hell of a pump fake, throws into triple coverage, Harvin catches the ball, stutters and plants, runs ahead makes a cut and dashes into the end zone for a TD!!!!
can believe vikings went from Favre to Ponder and stick with him for three years. Harvin hated ponder and openly criticized him for being unable to deliver the pass unlike Favre.
you never know how great it is to play high until you do it. its like having that heisman vision on ncaa 13 where everything slows down and you can dissect shit lmaoo its amazing.
Thank you not a viks fan. But harvin my dude one of my favorite players. Wanted the giants to draft him but it worked out , we got nicks and both won a ring.
Incredible talent. He had an uncanny ability to exploit gaps in defenses and explode through seams like no player I've ever seen. Too bad he became such a head case.
Y’all think this is crazy to watch? You should have seen what he did to defenses when he played for Florida with Tebow. Man I miss that 2008 Gators team. Top 3 teams of all time in college.
As a Gator fan, I sometimes found myself thinking...why the heck do we even snap it, hand it, throw it, toss it to anyone else. Kidding, that offense was scary good all over the field, but not entirely kidding...he was crazy good. Fast, but lots of guys are fast. Great vision...hard to bring down, especially for a smaller speed guy. Didn't waste time or energy on fancy jukes...subtle (and instant) changes of direction at speed, just would pick his line and slice through before the defense could react. Not that he couldn't completely change directions with a stop on a dime, go 180 the other way move. He had a few jet sweeps at UF where the D saw it coming and had it totally covered...PH was just like, oh, ok, i'll go the other side then, see ya. Those, and the ones where he'd have 5 or 6 defenders all right in front...99% of the time most if not just about every other player is stopped. I don't know how many times he'd be in that scenario, no blockers, and somehow between picking the exact right line, hitting it with whatever necessary subtle change of direction, and of course blazing speed, and the D is left looking at each other while PH goes the distance. And if a pass was anywhere near him, he'd come down with it, then engage the RAC skills...
I think if Peterson picked up Chester Taylor’s passing game skill set, making him an every down back earlier in his career. The vikes might went further.
These are some nice “High”-Lights
😂😂😂
Are pot jokes still funny?
@@tannerbollon633
Dont be a dope
😂😂😂😂
I see what you did there 😂
This dude truly could score from anywhere on the field. He could've been one of the all time greats...
If only he didn’t throw a dumbbell and lezzly Frazier
@@e-dawg768 One of the true good guys in the history of the league. Not a HC though

#couldashouldawoulda #skol
He waste his prime with the trash ass franchise team
He is one of the greats, he has a Super Bowl and a kick off return for touchdown in the Super Bowl
fucking miss this guy
Harvin may have been the most talented NFL player I ever saw. He could do ANYTHING, and he could be the best at any position.
But then there he goes to the fucking Seahawks sorry I know he was so amazing but man I'm still mad
I doubt he would have been a great O-Liner, but yeah I struggle to think of a more talented running back/returner than him. Wide receiver too if it weren't for me
It’s so crazy thinking this dude was probably baked every time he played lmao
If a study is ever done on pot and reaction timing I cite Percy as sample A.
That’s why his Visio was so good he was zoned out 😂
I have no clue why it's illegal. Beer is legal, try playing drunk lol
If you can still perform what’s the issue? He wasn’t the only guy blazing out there and most those guys would of if they knew they could
@@Swankman33it’s not healthy either

It’s so satisfying the way he runs idk how to describe it... they’re just perfect strides
1:32 Ref eats the turf.

Jeff Dugan doing God's work
Looks like he intentionally pushed him
I was looking for someone to point that out 😂
That was way on purpose he pancakes him haha
Watch his highlights at UF looked like a polished NFL player vs high schoolers. Unbelievably talented football player it’s ashamed that injury and migraines held him back from reaching full potential.
True natural talent would be out of practice all week with migraines and put on a show on sunday
trout bout he really was the Allen Iverson of football huh lol
Guy was a complete head case never saw his true potential .
Turns out he was high every game too. Weed, no practice and just showed up to score touchdowns.
farve was awesome when he was with the vikes...and harvin was unstoppable.
Such an amazing talent
This guy was just electric. Crazy combo of speed + strength + skills.
Dude was so damn explosive. Wish we could have seen him play longer but he definitely was a home run threat every time he touched the ball, on the seahawks too
8:26 that acceleration is ungodly
Also see 0:56
That’s that Florida speed
@@UFspeed Percy from Virginia isnt he?
Dominic D'Amico idk but he was a Florida Gator though

All time playmaker. Route running, catching, ball carrying, kick/punt return.. nothing he couldn’t do.
No mercy Percy , my guy !!! Would love to see em still playing ball.
I'd always go nuts on Percy Harvin's KR TD's!
when the Vikings had harvin, moss, AP, and farve that's just a unstoppable offense💯
T. Y. The only won like 6 games that year tho 😂😂😂
Nick Kosek because their defense was atrocious
Nick Kosek The 2009 Vikings were 10-6 and nearly had a superbowl run.
C&B AIRSOFT moss was in 2010 when the won 6 games, in 09 we went 13-3

Percy Harvin was a freak of an athlete.
Doing the same on the field as if he was at Landstown. Loved watching him on the field

1:30 R.I.P. To my man in stripes
Percy didn't have a long career, but when he was with the Vikings he looked like a hall of famer. SKOL!!!
My favorite player of all time
1:47 what an INCREDIBLE play ruined by lazy commentators. Where's the excitement? Favre makes one hell of a pump fake, throws into triple coverage, Harvin catches the ball, stutters and plants, runs ahead makes a cut and dashes into the end zone for a TD!!!!
That's from Joe Buck probably. A Packers gomer. It's a shame they let him call MN vs. GB games. He's pretty biased.
Actually, it was Thom Brennaman. I can't stand Joe Buck either, but he at least puts a bit more excitement into it than this.
Mitchell... Mitchell... Mitchell... down at the 25.
If you let commentators ruin a play...idk man thats kind of stupid
Harvin was the definition of a hybrid player
That Titans TD at 9:30 was so disgusting. One of the sickest TDs I ever seen
Triple threat player...was such an athlete he actually made Christian Ponder look like a competent NFL QB!!
He was HIGH on every TD ✊🏾🤯
Love all your Vikings videos! Skol
Love these player highlight videos
The saddest of all words: “what could have been”.
Percy Harvin was the best talent I’ve ever seen. Sucks he couldn’t stay healthy. He was a GAME CHANGER

So talented.
@9:12 iconic play, all the best players have 1-2 plays that are just legendary and never leave your memory. doing that on an NFL field is special

Brenden Chandler he’ll yeah he did

Great acceleration and long speed. It’s like watching a 200 meter sprinter
It's nice to se someone toss the ball to the ref after a td Barry Sanders style
Yall See How Red His Eye Was When They Zoomed In On Him I Knew He Smoked Some Fire That Game
This just reminds me how freakin good Farve was in 09.
Almost all of these TD's especially the kickoff returns were crucial to getting back into a game we were not winning.
Jeff Dugan trucking the ref is fantastic
