He grabbed him under the arms and hoisted him out of the seat. He got me to move into his seat then pushed the drunk guy into my original window seat and sat down beside him, pinning him in. At this point, this rescuer hadn’t even spoken a word. Every time the drunk guy spoke after that, my rescuer glared at him and growled until he shut up. The flight attendants kept coming around and thanking him. At the end of the flight, police escorted the drunk guy off. I bought my rescuer dinner before his connecting flight.

We had cellphones, but they were just practical flip phones made for calls & texting was still in its infancy, and only rich people had the fancier iPhone types of phones. Now, due to tech, I can get all my entertainment, news, updates, etc. at home. I swear, people didn’t act out quite as bad (or at least as often) as they do now. Maybe it’s just because we have the ability to film everything now & I just didn’t notice back then, but, man, it just seemed different then.

Actually, they all should be forced to watch themselves as well. Maybe they’ll all seek some help for their drinking problems.

The first lady appears to be an alcoholic. My father was like her. Once he began drinking he couldn't stop until he was drunk. What I find amazing, however, is how none of the people who saw her drinking up a storm alerted the airline staff before she got on the plane.
She should get 5 years for biting the officer with two years to serve and 3 years probation. Lifetime ban on flying. She is a despicable person and it’s not the alcohol causing this.

Profit. It is a MASSIVE money maker. Airport staff hates it - during the pandemic Air Canada didn't serve alcohol on flights and flight attendants said they loved it since it cut down on the idiocy they had to deal with. But profit is king at airlines.
Thats a person that has a bad drunk when they drink alcohol. Should not be drinking at all. Some people have this problem !

The mom knew more than what she was saying, it doesn't make any sense what she's saying. If she was with her the whole time - she would know what happened. It's not like the plane is huge either
