Got a question for you, mate: I'm doing this on a 98 EX and everything is the exact same until it comes time to remove the alternator. I don't have enough clearance between the oil pan and the axle to remove the alternator. Though I'm wondering if this is because I'm using ramps and not jack stands like you. Is it possible that with the suspension not being.. well suspended, that the axle is too close to remove the alternator? Any help is much appreciated as I desperately need this fixed haha. At first I thought my alternator was bigger for some reason but that just doesn't make sense. Thanks in advance!
@@Laiceps04 I did! And it was actually exactly what I theorized! I just had my roommates lift the front end to sag the suspension enough until the alternator just slipped out. Though the next day I went and bought a jack and some stands since there's no way I was doing that to get it back in. Hope I could help! :)
Best video hands down. No one shows you how to put the alternator in the bracket

I pull them fro the top lmao
Pull from the top. It takes some readjusting and flipping until you find the right space needed to remove
