But what it has to do with the clip is the way the people running the store are talking, the ideas they're spewing as if they're sane, rational and expected to be accepted. For example, when I was a kid going to school, whether it was 1st grade or 12th, it was unheard of for a kid to bring a gun to school, this just didn't happen. It was unheard of for kids to have to go through checkpoints that had metal detectors. It was unheard of to have kids going from class to class, not as students, but as dealers selling whatever the flavor of the month was. I'm not saying this occurs in every school, I'm saying that it didn't occur in ANY school when I was a kid. No one can argue that this change is for the better, yet it's tolerated. The school situation is just one example of society falling apart in my opinion, there are others, and it's all being tolerated like this is the way things are supposed to be.

For example, when I was a kid going to school, whether it was 1st grade or 12th, it was unheard of for a kid to bring a gun to school, this just didn't happen. It was unheard of for a kid to get into a physical altercation with a teacher. It was unheard of to have cops walking the halls. It was unheard of for kids to have to go through checkpoints that had metal detectors. It was unheard of to have kids going from class to class, not as students, but as dealers selling whatever the flavor of the month was. I'm not saying this occurs in every school, I'm saying that it didn't occur in ANY school when I was a kid. No one can argue that this change is for the better, yet it's tolerated. The school situation is just one example of society falling apart in my opinion, there are others, and it's all being tolerated like this is the way things are supposed to be.
I don't think I would leave the baby with them!

Has the US really gotten that bad? I moved to Denmark 8 years ago and I only go back a couple times every year. The city I come back to isn’t so weird like this, but I haven’t been to any of the bigger cities on the coast in a while.
