- My favourite skit from Portlandia condensed from the 4th episode of season 3.
I chopped this one down after explaining to friends how funny this show is and how great Kumail Nanjiani is, and it isn't on CZcams.
Check out this show and also Kumail's movie "The Big Sick".
"Those are display pops" and "I already selected moose-head" are two lines that will always make me laugh.
I do not claim this content as my own, Portlandia is a sketch comedy television series set and filmed in and around Portland, Oregon, starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein. The show was produced by Broadway Video Television and IFC Original Productions. It was created by Armisen and Brownstein, along with Jonathan Krisel.
This video is a fan upload that has significantly altered the original media and is not attempting to bypass piracy laws. - Komedie
"It is a 6.5% rate loan, but we round up to 8%" LOL.
6.5% interest loan that's actually just the name of it
Yeah we all watched the same video.
"I'm a Birthday Loan Officer. I know what tapas are."
I dont think it's arguable, Kumail was the best recurring sketch player on this show. By far the funniest and most reliable.
True true
Kumail's delivery of "it seems like medium to heavy punking" smacked my head off the table laughing
"you checked a box for moose head?"
My favorite line.
It seems like a person has a birthday almost every year...
Exactly, right ?!
“For all Intensive purposes “ 👍🏼
I love that, its really subtle.
This show is just something else entirely
correct - rubbish
You're something else entirely, mate, if anyone is...
late
@@itsMrNoble he named himself after something he doesn't know.
I love that the form had a box for moose head.
"Those are display pops" *grabs one *
LMAO and the actor was cracking up as well
Honestly, a guy that deals fairly with splitting the bill would be extremely useful. It’s always the most stressful part of a group dinner. No one knows what to fuckin do
Except it's a birthday, shouldn't the host provide meals for the guests?
Is it an American thing to have ppl pay for ones birthday?
@@lourdesgyan yeah, usually the guests of their party would pay for them, but they still have to split it up amongst themselves.
Most people just sit there. That seems to be the overwhelming majority of people's actions.
I know a guy who robs liquor stores, I if just just drive him, he give you a cut of it, RoFLMAO. I died....
Calling in the guy who splits the bill as if he were the wolf in Pulp Fiction. Genius.
Everyone needs that guy.
"It seems that a person has a birthday almost every year." *OMG thank god im not the only one that notices that.*
Literally every person that watched this noticed it. It is the single most on the nose joke in the bit.
@@Adaephonable a) "...notices that [a person has a birthday almost every year]"
b) "...notices that [joke in the sketch]"
I thought they meant (a)
@@GoggledAgog A is even more moronic to point out. It is literally axiomatic.
@@Adaephonable Right. Hence they would be joking.
‘They don’t look at the glass!’
Holy shit, I just realized I did that whole "this is inauthentic" thing with ramen after being in Japan.
When you realize you're actually the person they're making fun of. 😄
and yet people like that sit in their all inclusive resort, eating tourist food all day long and haven't had any "authentic food" either.
@@fahrradmittelfranken8207 Yeah. I wasn’t in no resort. I like to get down and dirty with the local cuisine.
Me too
@@gringochucha (who would've thought)
@@KiraPlaysGuitar I don't know, Kira. You tell me.
The upside of being friendless
One of many
Why the dinner frustration is so relatable?
The prop lollipop fucking kills me everytime
The guy at the end is a parody of the Wolf character from Pulp Fiction
No shit Sherlock
For all intensive purposes
"You checked a box for moose head?"
“It won’t be much but it might cover the tapas”
I'm getting Harvey Keitel as the Cleaner in Pulp Fiction vibes.
Maria Thayer is unreasonably beautiful! And this is a hilarious sketch.
Me (in my head): Its for free!
'Them' (in my head): Yes, thats the name for it, but you have to pay!
its free, after you pay. duh.
“There’s a Box for moose head” never fails to make me laugh.
“These are display pops” as he immediately starts on one😂
Wait…this isn’t a skit…this is a real show 🤯🤯🤯
you dont need to put "funny" in a Portlandia clip, of course it's funny!
Why would you watermark this, it’s not even your content
THEYDONEVENLOOGADAGLASS!!!
You've checked a box for Moose head? HAHAHAHAHAHA
"Minus the birthday girl... she's gratis :)"
$100 for inauthentic tapas?!! I know a place in Salamanca
Lol. I am from Salamanca. This is hilarious
"tapas ghetto" - I have lived this
intensive purposes, i thought it was for everyone living in tents
Someone invites you to a bday party and makes you pay? WTF is wrong with you?
One of my pet peeves!!
Most people just sit there.
Birthday loans are the best
Tortilla Española, just anything with ape 😂😂😂
[Funny]
That’s my shirt
Those are display pops
What is the name of the intro song to this video?
Its Feel it All Around by Washed Out czcams.com/video/3Pt0V6K7WpM/video.html&ab_channel=WashedOut-Topic
is that wally????
I don't seem to be able to follow the plot. So high right now.
Where's she from for 10 min... Stanger's With Candy!
Intense and purposes not intensive purposes
The actress in this clip is smoking hot.
The birthday girl? I know right!
June for me…
WHO IS THE REDHEAD!!?
Nina
Maria Thayer.
Is this reality? I mean really, this can't be real, right?
If someone here invited people to a birthday party, he pays the entire tab *himself*.
Not in woke America apparently
What’s the name of the actress playing Nina the birthday girl? She’s really hot!
And here I thought that Kumail became unfunny once he got buff, but apparently he wasn't funny, even on carbs...
He’s super funny
Wow you must be so fun at birthday parties lol
"You checked a box for moose head?"
For all intensive purposes
Yep she is the best lollipop in the skit
"You checked the box for moose head?"
