V - what about adding a glass piece to fit the top of your desk? You could spray paint the bottom of the glass in black so that you don’t see any chips or peels and I’ll never tell anyone what you did! Love you and your family.
I was thinking how about a glass piece that you put a beautiful peel and stick wallpaper on…..the underside of course!
Glass on top of any piece makes it more high end and easier to keep clean. I have glass on my antique desk to protect the top. Use table glass. You can purchase them in furniture stores. Its not inexpensive, but its a tempered glass and won't shatter if it breaks. Comes in different sizes and shapes.

Great design tips! Just a friendly suggestion: I would love for your CZcams videos to include a complete room makeover from start to finish of your bedroom, living room, and office. Currently we are only getting bits and pieces of rooms in random videos.
We’re working on multiple projects but unfortunately they’re taking a while to complete. All of our contractors are overbooked and production delays on furniture are significant. Most furniture takes 6-9 months to get right now.

I absolutely love this session, you nailed it. Sometimes, people (meaning me) are those with the one pillow on the bed and don't know how to go further. You find yourself hooked on something but don't know how to pull it together. I've never shopped Ikea but this really helps for any purchase you make. I can't thank you enough for your examples, that's what makes you the person we love to turn to be it for home design or even how you pull together an outfit.

Talking about duvets...use 2 inserts in your duvet. Makes it look really high and cozy ❤💚💜💙💛
My tip for buying non-matching table and chairs is to measure the height of the table and the seat of the chair of a set so you get the right height between the two. We bought a table from one set which was a little high for the chairs from another. They were modern chairs so a cushion wasn’t really a design option. I recently bought some down cushions that weren’t very full so I bought an extra one and transferred the feathers to them. It was a little messy but it’s done.
I’ve searched for your video on the best products in ikea just to thank you; I’ve followed your recommendation to buy Dytag curtains from ikea for a lux look and I feel amazing 🤩

I love love love love Ikea but it overwhelmes me, I literally get do tired when I go there because it's like Idea overload. I just love it though . I know west elm and CB2 and such are beautiful but Ikea just has my heart . Maybe because it opens un my mind to imagination, and that there is an exhausting dangerous place , for my brain and for my husband's ears ( and pocket).

First time commenting ever on CZcams! Lol! I love your videos! I am still going thru all your videos so if you already have one similar to what I am about to suggest, please ignore me. My house is very traditional with darker tones. I would love to lighten things up but given that so much is dark already I am not sure how to tackle this without having to redo everything and buy all new stuff. Would love a video on suggestions or even a room reno showing how to brighten up a darker traditional room! Thanks again for the awesome videos!

I need help! I'm an American in the UK and found a gorgeous 18th century gilded Rococo mirror but we have started transitioning our decor style to industrial/transitional. Would that mirror go with that style?!! Can you do a video on decorating with mirrors with different decor styles?

Another fun and informative video! I am decorating the 1960 modern/minimal condo I bought in Houston (we have one of the ginormous IKEA stores, thank goodness) and I'm trying to get a luxe look on an IKEA budget--hard to do but your vids are helping me out.
I do have a random question about your filming location, if I may. What color is the ceiling? I'm leaning away from a light/bright/pale woods/white Scandi interior and leaning into a darker, more moodier vibe, similar to some of your spaces. My current inspiration is a room with black walls, very pale floors, and a white ceiling but I'm also loving your filming location with the dark floor and dark walls. I've seen spaces which I love which go all in on the dark and have dark floors, dark walls AND a dark ceiling. So I'm wondering if you went all in and included a dark ceiling in that room? (I'm guessing that possibly for filming purposes, and other reasons, you didn't?)

I love your design and styling videos. I am a fan of dark bold colors as well. I have been dying to paint my entryway door darker, whether it’ peppercorn by SW, graphic charcoal by behr or Kendal by BM. What is your approach to open floor plans where you can see 2-5 other doors??

You can repaint your black desk or anything already finished at Ikea. Most commercial finishes are lacquer not paint that is sprayed on. You can respray it with dead flat lacquer yourself.
