I love modern, but a rustic modern...like a leather sling chair on a wood frame. So I like wood in all parts of the home.

I loved your video. Seeing your son being so silly at Ikea made my day. My two boys, now 33 and 29, used to ride the heavy duty carts in the self service section like two speed demons. Yes, I tried to stop them but in the end I have great memories of their antics.

Gotta get that last wood tray! So nice! My favorite IKEA find is their waffle cotton blanket. We use a few on our beds as throws. They’re so reasonable and wash really well.

That was FUN! Thank you for taking us along on your I-K-E-Aaaah adventure with 13 year old Landon in tow! Glad his gaming desk was in stock! He definitely earned it 😆 It is a 3 to 4 hour trek for us to get to our nearest IKEA and they do not ship. Next time I am able, I will certainly be on the lookout for the gorgeous rugs! The curtains! The pillow covers! The wooden tray and cutting board oh my! And. The sponges for sure! 😊 I have 1 or 2 of them that I will not use until I can buy another package or packages! The last little sales bit that Landon showed us, for all of the extra clothes. 😄 I actually have 2 of them, I use them for allll my scarves 💛🖤☕️

I just LOVE this channel and content so much. I moved out of my parent’s home for the first time last summer and I found your channel while I was shopping for furniture and decor. I’ve always loved black and white as a color scheme, but was afraid to transition that into home decor because I didn’t want my first apartment to appear cold and unwelcoming. You definitely inspired me and TAUGHT me how to accomplish a black and white scheme while making it warm and cozy. I’m still learning, but your home and design style remains a top influence for me. You have to try the Loofah dish sponges from Amazon they last for 4 or 5 months and they never EVER EVER smell bad! They are my number one favorite Amazon find for house hold products!!

We love seeing all of the creative IKEA rooms for ideas too! You mentioned 6:47 that some people are upset with woods coming back to kitchens. Why? Whatever the case, wood accents are pretty & one can still sell a house with or without it.

Keep the green napkins for St. Patrick’s Day. I like to change up my spaces quite often and IKEA definitely makes it affordable. I have Sanela pillow cases that I change on my sofa.
For those who have tightly woven carpeting, the thin area rugs are a nice overlay.

Love your show and love how Jack seems to love you so much. You are very lucky! Jacobsen salt is from right down the road from me in Oregon. And please don't promote sponges which take years n years to disintegrate. Having lived in Hawaii for 20 yrs I know they kill sea turtles and dolphins and all kinds of sea creatures n birds. Promote cotton cloths you can throw in the washer. Mahalo nui loa🌺🌺🌺

We are house hunting and think we found our home. Deciding on color palettes because it needs new flooring and paint and everything. Love my current black and gray walls but now considering greige with some earthy accents…after years of going towards gray, black and white its hard to pull that trigger!
