I can't tell you how much your channel has helped me. I have ADHD and have struggled my entire life with organization, which as a woman has made me very self-conscious. Your videos have been such a huge help, especially the decluttering one. I've been able to take some of your suggestions, tweak them to what I know works best for me, and my apartment has actually started looking really nice, which has been a massive confidence boost. So I wanted to say a big thank you for all the effort that goes into your videos.

The thermostat thing won’t work for most people because it actually has a temperature gauge on it. If you cover it up, it won’t be able to accurately measure the temperature in your house and that could cause a higher bill.

Careful with clear spice jars: some/many spices are sensitive to light and can lose nutrients this way! If you want to use clear jars, I think it’s better to store them in a drawer or cabinet that’s mostly shielded from daylight

Keeping your counters as clear and clean as much as possible is another tip. I added a paper towel rack to the inside of my kitchen counter door to get them out of the way but yet still be accessible. I also added hooks to the inside of my kitchen cabinet doors to hang potholders, bottle brushes etc. Leaving that stuff on the counter just makes your kitchen look low end and cluttered.

The reason to leave labels on cleaning supplies is they are poisonous. If you have children or have them visit, consider leaving in OG container and put them in a basket on a shelf in linen closet. Read a couple labels. Its coded by poison control and if you ever suspect a child drank a cleaning agent, grab the bottle and take it with the kid to nearest ER! Docs with check code on label and immediately know how to counteract the poison they swallowed. FYI

Hubby does heating and air and when I tried to cover the thermostat a long time ago he said that’s a big no no because then it can’t function properly. The thermostat needs to sense the temperature in the room and it can’t do that correctly if it’s covered up. So if you want your temperature to stay accurate then you really shouldn’t cover up the thermostat, even if it’s an eye sore. It’s better to just upgrade the thermostat if you can.

I always enjoy your videos, love your discoveries, tips, tricks, wit and humor. I've repackaged my laundry products into all white containers that I've cleaned and re-labeled for a more clutter free and cohesive look. The bathroom and kitchen products have been recanted too. I know this isn't necessary for everyone but I realized a while ago that I operate better with less visual clutter. Sometimes little things can have big impact. I'll try the folding techniques, too. My methods need an upgrade. 😃 Thanks! ❤

I don’t think posting receipts on your walls, especially ones from Dollar Tree, makes your house looking expensive 🤔 Also, covering the thermostat with a hat will make your temperature be off in your home since the sensor is being covered from accurately sensing what the temperature is.
