  • Our first tidy up of the Toyota MR2 project car. We're servicing the car at home to change the oil filter, oil and replacing the spark plugs. As per usual it doesn't go to plan... but we got there in the end!

    Good video. I find it best to stop the car push both ramps up to the wheels then drive it on to make sure your in the flat part of the ramp with both wheels.
    Keep the videos coming!

      gsrlancer6 that’s a good tip, thanks! Also to remove the chocks before attempting to drive off them helps..

    Good video.
    I'm not a lover of ramps myself. But as you said the wedges in front of the front wheels caused your issue. 👍👍👍👍

    good work lads. Makes a refreshing change seeing someone work and provide decent youtube content on their cars unlike some of these chavs who all they do is stick stickers on their shit heaps and make a 10 minute video of it! Keep up the great content.

    Hello! I'm also a MR2 owner And having problem with changing the spark plugs. Could you explain how you unplug the three sparks from left? I can't pull them out of the chamber due to limited space of the wire And intake tube. I'm appreciated for any reply!

    Confused as to why you filled the oil filter with oil before you put it on, seems like a waste of oil as you spilled it 😂 next time I wouldn’t bother filling it before as it will fill up once you fill it with oil and start the engine up. Only thing you should do is rub oil round the rubber seal to stop it from crimping up and not making a proper seal. Other than that, decent video lads and best of luck with the project 🤙

    • @RODEBLOCTV
      @RODEBLOCTV  Před 5 lety

      Ibd0bdI thank you man! Yeah we were recommended to fill it up by half, but with the location of the filter that means all you do is tip it out when fitting.. won’t be doing that again! 😂
