- Diablo T2 tuner, Greene Racing tune, scat pack stage 1 PCM tune are options that I've done in the past & would like to talk about now. If you have 5.7L Hemi this tuning video might help. The Diablo T2 & i3 intune comes with a 91 & 93 (Diablo Tune) Tune that will help to add HP/Torque. But if you would like a more aggressive tune for your mods you can get an emailed or remote tune. This is one of the best mods for your Charger, Challenger, Ram or Jeep. The best emailed tunes come from Hemifever, Greene Racing & Tim Barth (Barth Tuning).
If you would like more ideas on modding your Charger, Challenger, Ram or Jeep make sure to Subscribe!

Great video bro I enjoyed it and you help me to make my final decision I am going to get a Diablo tuner kit DODGE CHALLENGER/CHARGER 11-14 5.7L REAPER TRINITY 2 PCM SWAP STAGE 1 KIT - 9345-R13
I really enjoy having a T2 - looks great & many tuners can use it for custom tuning. I've heard of the reaper kit - comes with an intake & some other goodies right?
@@RTLife
yes comes a lot with goodies cold air intake PCM swap & many more
and I'm still checking into it
Where is the reaper kit?
You definitely hit the nail on the head by saying not to be scared! Great info and you have had quite a bit of experience with different options with different tuning options so this was very informative!
Thanks man - yah you just have to say I'm going for it or not. Either way - we all enjoy this awesome hobby differently, I def like the modding. Makes the mopar unique. You know how it is
Been with you from the start and always gonna be with you to support your channel. I appreciate all the work you do and the information you give us.
Thank you for the continued support - it helps the channel a ton. Glad some of these videos are helpful & entertaining
Great video man Thanks for covering this hot topic. I think a lot of us 5.7 guys who don't have a boat load of money have questions about the best route to go to get some gains that doesn't put us in the poor house! Man I have been watching you from day one and love what you have done with your R/T and that you share everything with us to help us make more informed decisions when choosing mods! You are definitely the man R/T Life!!! 😎👍
Thanks man I really appreciate - I def enjoy doing this & really happy to basically document everything so it can potentially help some people. Me, You & a bunch of the other guys are the OG Squad! You're the man, thank you for always supporting my channel #MoparBros
Yes I have a 6 month old and I’m 19 and I work my ass off so my fiancé can be with the baby and I have a 11 Dodge Charger rt and I’m into cars I do auto body but family cokes first so I’m looking for a good way to get some more power but not be broke and not afford for my family at the end of the day. Definitely subscribing
Bolt on a hellcat blower😂😂😂
I'm glad I watched this because I recently purchased a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T in Midnight Blue Pearlcoat with 49,000 miles. I was originally going to Procharge or Supercharge the engine but that was before I drove it. Now since that I drove it, I feel that wouldn't be necessary and I'll go for an intake, an exhaust and maybe a tune system like you just mentioned. I've had the car for two days and I love it already!
These 5.&L hemi's are a ton of fun - congrats on the new Hemi. Keep on enjoying it & let me know how the mods go
So much information provided!!!! That’s what’s up. So much to take in but once I get really into it I think I’ll be fine. Trying to catch up on all your videos so I know where to start. So far loving the channel. Always got good info.👌👍
Def learned a lot doing this stuff & hoping to transfer that info. I appreciate the support & Def glad these videos are helping you. Thank you man
Definitely they are!!! No problem anytime.
Lou!! Great topic!! I agree that an unlocked PCM with custom tunes offers the best performance with room to grow. I picked up some used Nitto drag radials over the weekend and tested them, Big Blue needs them, you would love it!!
Yah I need more traction in the back! It's so annoying slipping on launches
Very Informative and True..
I did little things..180 thermostat. . Catch can...275 rear Tires..even open up Air Intake more...But once I unlocked Pcm /Diablo tune car Responded. I than went with a More Aggressive Tune From Hemi Fever...ALOT better...Now just ordered Long tube Headers and 274 Com cam...Keep up THE AWESOME CHANNEL! !
The headers & cam will really get that Hemi screaming! Let me know how it works for you - pumped to hear what you think
@@RTLife
Thank you...Really looking forward to it.. Oct 12..is the shop day !!
Pop💥 Nice👍🏽 that’s got to be my favorite sound affect but you stated all great points go all in don’t hold back
thanks man - Hopefully this helps some people down the road!
I’m taking it all in thanks for the motivation ☄️👍🏽💯
Spot on, man!
"You can't mod scared" is right...now, start doing your own mod installs too! Don't be afraid to enjoy it (a lil scary at first), because the satisfaction of a self done job makes each install even better!
"Having said that", pay to have the cam install done right...that's definitely NOT a novice install 😉
Right on! Yah the cam is def getting professionally installed. Many people are afraid of modding but man they're missing out on a lot of fun that's attached to this great car hobby. These Mopars are a blast
@@RTLife Amen to that!!
2 years later this video in coming in handy 🙏🏾
I am glad you tried out new ways to tune. I like you were in favor of the scatpack stage 1 pcm. Not sure I could have personally swapped out. But like did .. If you want to get serious about modding gonna bring out the big guns.
Heck yah man - it's all about having fun & trying new stuff. Congrats again on 1k I know that is a milestone you really wanted to hit. Keep it up man
I bought the Diablo Sport Trinity 2EX platinum tuner .. absolutely Love It ... Def woke my 5.7 up
Yah it makes a big difference over stock
@@RTLife I love being able to turn off the MDS and set the actual redline and a few others that help
Loved the police blooper....hold up...what did I get into this time!
hahaha I freeze up so bad! Years of getting tickets will do that - thanks man for watching all the way to the end
Great video. Ppl need to understand every mod is a risk and at some point parts are going to break. The more power the more upgrades in drive train need to be made. Great video
Most Definitely bro!
100% right about that! Modding is a lot of fun but it's a can of worms lol. You upgrade this then have to upgrade that & so on.
Yep you get to a point and you find weak points, I found it's around 500hp. Things will start breaking than. Lol you have to be getting close
I’m definitely doing this to my 2015 300S Hemi 5.7 😎
You will really like the performance gains - a tune really peps up these Hemi's!
It’s all about Having fun 😎
Got that right! That's exactly what I'm doing - having fun. I appreciate it
Good video . “This is the newest vehicle I ever owned, I wanted to be cautious about warranty “💯💯💯
Your charger is beautiful man. I got a Durango RT 19 model with borla catback it’s such a great ride plenty fast handles well for its size n I get tons of compliments I have 3 kids so had to stay 3 row suv but happy I got it had it since 2020
Definitely helps alot, thank you.
Nice - glad this was helpful!
Thank you for your honesty man very informational
I know this is an older video. I Absolutely Love My T2. I have 06 Daytona. OMG!! Had 2 but sold wife's. Hers wasn't tuned. Definitely a difference. Love your reaction when the 5-0 rolled by.
Bro literally explained my thought process for upgrades in order 😂
Thanks for making this video. 👍
Almost 20k 💪💪
That's a couple of months away but def cool to close in on that! Thanks man
Do your thing Bro....You were a lil unsure about heavy mods in the beginning but that car crept into your sole just like the movie Christine where that MOPAR possesses her owner....Can't wait for the cam and subsequent dyno #BROTHERHOODOFMUSCLE
that's exactly what happened. I really wasn't planning on doing much after my exhaust & intake. But I just don't want to fun to stop hahaha! We will see how the cam does
This a great subject to go over
Thanks man - def something that many are looking into
Currently have my car with a Diablo tune, MDS turned off, Solo Cat-Back exhaust, and an intake.
The Solo Cat-Back exhaust is fantastic! Got to check out vids on it!
My car sounds like a beast and I got to have a fun night with my son changing out the PCM and loading the tune which he loved!
I can't wait to see how your cam works out. I'd love to do it but I'm still saving up money to buy a set of headers!
Mine is a daily driver and I don't want to damage the car long-term because I'm going to be driving it for 10 years.
You will really enjoy the header upgrade with an upgraded tune - really wakes that Hemi up nicely. Keep on enjoying it! You have a solid mod list going so far
Good options RT just sucks that 2015 and up pcm has to be unlocked at extra expense but tuning does definitely make a difference!😎👍
It adds a layer of annoying but where there is a will, there is way! Thanks man, I hope all is well on your end buddy
U cannot nod scared I felt that lol real talk bro great video
2011 Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi Here Def thinking bout upgrading
Good content brother. I have a question I have a 5.7 challenger I bought headers I haven’t installed them yet. I have to get a tuner so you think it’s best to get the Diablo tuner T2 plus a pedal commander? What’s your thoughts I want to get rid of the throttle delay I hate it and add more kick.
Hey dude, great videos! I just got my dream Challenger, 2014, 6 speed RT. It already came with Jammer CAI, performance exhaust and throttle body spacer. It is my daily driver. What type or even should I put a mild tune on this car? it only has 22000 miles on it. Thanks
Great Vid, been following for a couple of months now. The flowmaster 40s you have is it the 2.5 dia. or the 3.0" ?
2.5 I believe - I put it on a while ago now. I appreciate the support.
I've been on the fence for a while with the Scat Pack PCM & the Diablo unlocked PCM. You just sold me on the Diablo!
The unlocked PCM really opens up the door to more HP! Let me know how it goes for you
@@RTLife This I know. I just couldn't make up my mind, but you helped me do that for sure! 👍🏼
I'm glad I found this channel because you have a lot of great content on modifications that I certainly would love to work into my challenger. I had a question regarding a performance tune though for my car which is a 5.7L as well. I have a 2015 challenger RT Plus and I just recently added new after market headers and exhaust to it but I don't have a tune yet which is my next mission. I just don't have the time right now to ship my PCM off to get it unlocked but I have come across diablo performance tuning kits that include an unlocked PCM. Do you know if doing this would have the same effect as unlocking my current PCM and tuning it?
I actually just watched your "Skip This Performance Mod..." video and I think that answered my question lol so I'm probably just going to go ahead and get the unlocked PCM and the diablo tuner that goes with it unless you have a better recommendation. Did you have any issues after the installation of your unlocked PCM? And did you get better results compared to the first pcm you went with? It seems like having the unlocked PCM will give me more freedom to tune it to my headers and exhaust because I feel a little more power from the switch but it feels like it's still not there yet.
Nice! Thank you for watching these videos - glad some of it is helpful. No issues with the unlocked PCM. Simple install & then you load up the tune on the Diablo.
I know this is an old video but it's still relevant. I just ordered an unlocked PCM that will be here in a couple days and then I'm getting it tuned with HP Tuners. I'm scared shitless since my RT is my daily but gotta go balls to the wall.
You're going to be fine - a tune is going to really wake up that RT. Makes the shifting more aggressive, more HP/Torque etc. Very nice difference
Great video and informations!! So I have a 2019 Dodge Durango R/T and I am very new to cars, so forgive me for asking dumb questions! Is there any advice or recommendations for moding/tuning my car? Thanks!!
Yeahhhh you are a NA car guy! Keep it that way! Something about a NA car that makes me go ouuuu!
looks like that is the direction I will be staying on for a while. We will see how it all plays out man. I love a big N/A build as well but man it's so hard to not look at forced air with the 150-200whp.
I have an 06 Dodge Magnum R/T. I have upgraded the air intake to a jlt and put a three inch exhaust on it with flowmaster 40s. Right now i am running rich because i obviously unrestricted the engine. What tuner would you recommend. Ive read a lot about diablosport but i am also concerned about the long term reliability. What brand would you recommend?
Great video. I currently have a 2005 300c. Plan on doing shorty headers along with a upgraded throttle body. Intake and a cat back exhaust. Wondering what type of tune would be perfect for those upgrades. I enjoy the channel. Thx for your advise and knowledge
Those mods should net you a solid amount of performance with a solid tune. What do you mean what time?
Thanks man def appreciate the support
Sorry about that. I was using voice text to type. But I meant “what type of tune”.
Love the content my man!!! Opinion ordering a throttle body in the morning for my 5.7 magnum . Modern Muscle or bbk 85mm 87mm 90mm?
The bigger the better! I went with the 85mm - probably should have gone bigger
Been wanting to do this for my 5.7 300C.
Love the channel man. Great information. I just purchased 2019 ram 1500 single cab with hemi. 1k miles and I'm already having a hard time keeping myself from modding because of warranty lol. Damn it what do I do?
hahaha I hear you man! congrats on the new hemi, so much damn fun. You will see a nice gain from getting yourself a diablo sport & unlocked PCM. Their 93 tune adds a healthy amount of power.
I think the dealers know it's part of our DNA. We don't buy these cars because we need a car to get us to work. We buy these cars because we love tinkering on them, modding them and making them go fast. Just look at the Challenger, the manufacturers themselves love tinkering on them, from the starter V6 to the all out Demon. I think most Dodge Chrysler Ram and Jeep owners are car people. They love their vehicles and they take pride of owning them, maintaining them, modding them and showing them off at car meets. So enjoy and keep modding!
I'm on my 3rd Ram, started from an SLT now to top of the line 2017 Sport 1500.
You're 100% on point with this comment. Keep on enjoying that Hemi!
So are the Hemi 300 owners. I got two of them in AWD!
Nice car
Thank you I appreciate it
Hey, great video man! I wanted to know which one you recommended for my 2012 charger R/T
You should load up the 93 tune that comes on the diablo - see what you think. After that there are a few tuners you can contact for emailed tunes.
Question what’s your take on a HP tune and what size Throttlebody is go for a 16 rt
Hey man, awesome video as always. Gonna be taking a look at a used 2017 charger R/T later today, any tips or things i should look out for?
Is it a super track pack (upgraded SRT kit on it)??? or does it look like mine?
@@RTLife it has the same body kit as yours. It was a previous demo, so it only has 4000miles on it.
wow not bad at all - super low miles. That's almost brand new. have you looked into any 15-16 RT Road & Tracks? It has some really nice upgrades
Just starting out!!
Two thumbs up! So, it sounds like you DO want a supercharger? ;)
Thank you! At some point maybe down the road it will happen - who knows. I just don't really want to commit to one at the moment.
Went the route of doing crazy upgrades on my Mustang (V6) adding a supercharger and inter-cooler to it and it was fun until the day came that something within the supercharger came off and fell into the engine, warranty of course did not cover this and the fix was roughly $2500 so that sucked.
I'm really on the fence about engine upgrades to my R/T. Torn between keeping it as is, paying it off and putting money towards hopefully a 392 in the future or doing some basic upgrades like you've been doing. That's why I like following this channel because you give good feedback on what you're upgrading and pretty much going the route I would if I did choose to upgrade. No more supercharger or turbo, I just want some good reliable bolt-ons that will add some fun but hopefully not cost $10K in parts.
I don't blame you for wanting to do a cool N/A build. Sounds like you've been there, done that with the forced air. Let me know how the modding goes on that Hemi when you decide to begin.
Great info...I'm new to the game and want to tune my 2013 5.7 300C...since I have no warranty my biggest concern is if I will be able to pass the California smog after tune or if I would have to reset stock tune every 2 years to pass smog...what are your suggestions...I'm not trying to create a hotrod just wanna beat a stock R/T and hang with a 392
Great video and very informative. I've had my RT for almost a year now and I'm ready to start some custom engine mods. Like most, I was quite apprehensive about my warranty at the start. But like you said it "You gotta pay to play!" LOL. So quick question for you - I haven't added a single engine mod to my car yet other than a PedalBox. Would you recommend a T2 tune to start before headers/cams/etc? And if so, what can I expect in terms of added power from just the tune itself? Obviously, I'll add the other mods individually after the tune, but I'm just curious about the added performance levels of the tune alone. Much appreciated and look forward to hearing your feedback.
I forgot to mention, my 2019 RT is a Super Track Pack.
I hear you on the warranty decision, it took me months to finally say screw it hahaa! Yes I would recommend getting a diablo T2 or i3 - both have a 93 or 91 tune that should help you gain around 15-20whp. It may not sound like much, but let me tell you it is. You notice a big difference at least I did when I loaded it up. Ease into modding & see how far you want to go. Some people are good with a tune & tires - don't need anymore than that. Others keep wanting more!!! czcams.com/video/lZ2I2Ir5_Hg/video.html
@@RTLife Ok thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated. Even a little extra power is well worth the effort. I'll probably just keep my existing PCM and get an unlocked one to write the tune to. Just in case I have any issues I'll still have my stock PCM. Either way, I really enjoy your videos, so please keep the content coming, Bro! All the best in the meantime.
@@RTLife BTW any suggestions where to shop for the Diablo T2?
I really enjoy your content, thank you. I recently traded in my Jeep Wrangler for a 2019 Challenger RT 5.7L. Love the car, but I'm having trouble finding tuning options. Not sure if the scat pack tunes are available for the 2019 to not void warranty.
No I don't think they're for 2019's yet - I think the 2018's aren't even able to use them. You're going to have to unlock that PCM to tune it
@@RTLife I called MOPAR earlier today, and nothing yet for the 2019's. I was told by the representative to check periodically.
I've got a question for you. Do you have smog restrictions in your state?
ALL of the tuner systems I looked at were for mainly automatic cars. I have an 09 Challenger R/T 6 speed with factory Trak Pak. Though there were some options for different tire sizes for speedo recalibrations, and SOMEWHAT crisper throttle response, as well as shutting the traction control all the way off, none offered real hp gains out of the box, plug and play, for manual cars. There is a shop in Racine Wisconsin that can tune the stock ECM for a 20-30 hp gain, BUT they disclaim that it will no longer pass an emissions test. The lite will be on! 1 has to be very careful about recals if it's gonna still function as a daily.
Where do you live? I'm in NY & everyone has a tuned car, no issues passing emissions.
@@RTLife Currently Illinois. The massed produced tuners, over the counter stuff, will pass emissions tests, but again offer little for manual trans cars. The couple of places I've contacted that do tunes for manual cars have all stated that it's an off road 'track tune' in which the engine light will be on. Only 1 said that their system, which plugs in the data port, can be removed and the stock PCM will take over to pass the tests, after a full drive cycle. It's only an 8 to 15hp gain though. I believe NY has a 50 state program, 08 and up. I'd love to know if there is a speed shop in that neck of the woods that does cars with a stick, that won't violate emissions standards, and provides good gains. Please send me a link if you know of 1! THX! Great channel!
Just traded in our 2016 Challenger SXT for a 2018 Charger R/T, i've been seeing your channel in the comment section of videos so i thought i'd come subscribe to your channel,
Congrats on the new Hemi man! You're going to really enjoy it. I appreciate the show of support.
How do you unlock your pcm , I just got a 2011 challenger, another question is I have the shaker and looking would a cold air be better ?
Do you get an engine exhaust sent or burning sulfur smell in the cabin after hard accelerations ?
Finally got my Diablo ex tuner. The power gains have been amazing! Just trying to find a decent offer to install my headers, and my car is done until I can afford a new cam.
Thanks so much for all the info over the years!
Nice! Glad you're enjoying it - really wakes up the hemi. I appreciate the support
Imagine one day. A Challenger/Charger with a V8 AWD that comes unlocked for the real fans. If only Dodge cared about it's mod community that way.
I agree with you - all of these companies are starting to make it to hard to mod & enjoy these cars more.

Ty sir
It's understandable that the techs at the dealership might not know about the staged kits specifically, but they're techs! They work on cars for a living....I'd def do the Scatpack staged kits to keep the warranty. I read that all the components would get you about 75 crank hp over stock. That's just over $8k in parts ± labor.
With 8k investment your better off getting a supercharger/procharger where you get 100+ HP rather then just 75HP crank
Jhon Mcuzi True...Def a better value but what about warranty and reliability?
@@waydigga1982 reliability is based on your tuner & most shops guarantee their work, & if your worried about warranty just keep it stock till it runs out, because 8k isn't worth 75hp crank & even less to the wheels
I would consider doing 1&2 if the warranty was an issue. Stage 3 I believe is where it gets silly expensive. After the warranty is up start modding away
Jhon Mcuzi I agree that there isn't a lot of value in the staged kits compared to other mods like a cam and a tune or even a super charger. It would be nice to mod the car, keep the warranty and keep it all Mopar....I don't have a charger yet but plan on buying a rt next yr (up in the air new vs used). New or used there's a $10-15k diff between rt and Scatpack. Ideally I'd like a scat, but unless they drop in price, it's out if the question. At the same time, I wouldn't buy the rt chasing scat power. I'd likely mod the rt slowly over time keeping the warranty in mind.
I have the 07 charger 5.7. Which tune would be safe to start off with I’ve already installed a cold air intake
Im new to this world, im trying to get my truck tuned but i would like to hear recommendations. I have a 2016 jeep grand cherokee 5.7, cat back exhaust, intake and 95mm throttle body. Pretty much stuck, would you recommend anything? Like diablo tuner or custom?
Can the Diablo tuner take traction control off on the 5.7L? I got an 05 300c that I’m trying to get the eco mode turned off as well as traction control
What's up R/T life it's been forever.
Car still looking awesome you been doing a lot on it. I finally got the tires and rims now and that my questions I always ask two people you and Rydin..cool people to deal with I ask other but I been follow you two's for a while..
Ok question I want to get a oil catch can. did you get it from billitech? And where did you get your wicker bill spoiler? I have the spoiler that I both. but I dont want to deal with the holes in each side.
Thanks in advance.
Oh and yes definitely my next move will be tuning my car so I will be listen.

I have a Durango Citadel with a 5.7. What would you suggest to be the first performance mod?
Can you instal the pcm and Diablo with the tazer in the trunk? Or do I have to undo the settings and unmarry ? Pls let me know
A lot of tuners in the world but there’s only a few that work with Hemi
Agreed! I really can't complain at all with the tune I have loaded up - makes the RT drive like a dream.
What tuner works for the ram 2011 2500 5.7 hemi
@@RJShum8 🤣🤣🤣Nunya tuner
My Bud, tuned my Charger when I had it. Definitely knows what he's doing. Turned her into a Monster!
I know this is an older post, but you tag teamed the pedal commander with the diablo?
I dont remember if you have the performance pages with the HP/TQ numbers display.? If you do do you see the raise of HP/TQ numbers on them after all the mods you did? (cam, intake, exhaust, tune, etc) i was wondering if those numbers are just based on prerecorded graph or are actually link with the engine live...
I do have the performance pages stock - Honestly I haven't even looked. I should see if it shows HP increases.
@@RTLife that would be great
Question has anyone put a jay Greene tune in and went to the Dyno after? If you went to Dyno after did you gain anymore hp or did the jay Greene tune suffice?
I have a question can I put a tuner on my 2018 Dodge Charger rt with changing the pcm
Do u know what size fuel injectors are in a 5.7 hemi 2015 an up an could they handle 500 hp at the crank or should i just get bigger fuel injectors
It seems the diablo i3 has the same capabilities as the $600 trinity 2. Just without the big screen... Do you agree with that statement? What are your thoughts? My goal is buying an additional license for both my 5.7 hemi cars and be able to disable mds, speed limiter increase, change cooling fan settings...
I believe your right - the tuning between the T2 & i3 is the same. With the T2 you get the extra monitoring setup
I have a Diablo i2 and currently just using the stock diablo tunes but of course I want more. Would you suggest getting the Hemifever stage two? I have K&N cold air intake, MBRP dual exhaust. Should I go Greene or Hemifever? I do realize you have the T2 but i'm not looking into buying another tuner.
Thanks
shit forgot to say I'm running a 2011 dodge ram 1500 hemi of course
I don't have any experience with Hemifever but I hear Sean does a great job. I believe Hemifever has better prices now. You can use the i2 with either tuners.
Hey bro so I currently have res/muffler delete and cai and I want to get tuned. Do I need to take anything with me that the tuner will need ? I don’t know anything about tunes
Hmmmm, $36000 car ~370-380 stock hp... $800 for +10hp, $8000 for a supercharger or tons of engine mods for ~100hp... is it just me or is there a pattern here where no matter which way you slice it, every horse costs about $80?
ballpark wise you're about right. HP is def expensive LOL!
")
If you think about it in terms of actual meat and bone horses, $80 is a pretty cheap horse 🐎 😎👍
Strippin weight is free...take a 350 hp motor put it in something that weoghs 2k pounds and you might as well have 800 hp
Jay Greene have my SRT8 getting up to 21 mmp on highway, chill mode ofcourse. While doing0-60 in 3.8☝
What if I’m trying to tune and improve my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit (5.7 L V8 Hemi)
How does everything work if you go with a Jay Greene tune? Does he send you a diablo programmer with his tune or can you download his tune to the diablo? What all do you need to go the Greene route software wise?
He will email you a tune that you load up to your diablo. Takes 5 minutes. Then you plug your diablo tuner into your car and install it.
I have a 2009 Chrysler 300 5.7 hemi c awd what tuner do u recommend?
what’s the link to the t2 u have in this video ?
I love the advice! Im new to tuning and I have a couple of questions though..
would this work on my 2007 charger rt?
whats the difference between a diablo t2 and a diablosport predator 2?
Was also wondering if this could negatively affect my car?
I have one of those diablo trinity 2 or 3 tuners for my cts-v …i have yet to install it….do you really think its worth it especailly on a boosted vehicle…..i know my h&s minimax tuner on my duramax was well worth its wieght in gold…but thats on a diesel and gains are huge….i know on a gasser its not gonna even come close…
Just bought a new Durango RT Hemi, what would you recommend for adding more HP? Diablo T2? Already resonator deleted for more growl. Not looking for cams just want a little bit more get up and go.
Yes - Diablo T2 or I3 w/ unlocked PCM. You want that Hemi on 93 - makes a difference. Congrats on the new R/T
Custom 93 tune would be your best bet.
Manifold and LT headers to go with your mud suitcase delete would be a very good combo
R/T Life I'm thinking of doing Long tube headers and after the PCM unlock with Diablo. Do you think I should start with the PCM instead?
I already have;
Hellcat intake
180 stat
Skip shift & CVD
Plus other cosmetic upgrades
I would get the diablo & then get the headers - the shop doing the long tubes will likely dyno tune it so the PCM needs to be unlocked.
Say no more!
Thanks
I have a 2015 challenger rt. Full cat back exhaust, intake and upgraded throttle body. What tune do you recommend?
I would get an emailed tune to maximize the gains
I have 06 charger rt can I Diablo tune a stock enigne only thing I have is mid muffler delete and a drop in K and N air filter
Yes you can - it will help performance
With Diablo, do you have to leave the tuner connected after you load a tune to your car?
With the T2 yes because I like the display screen. You don't need to keep it any diablo plugged in though after the tune is installed
Can anyone help me with best choice tuner and or PCM I have a 2015 Dodge charger AWD Prusuit 5.7 Hemi. Thanks
rebuilding my 2008 Aspen 5.7, 6.1 Forged Stroker Crank with new 0.20 over Forged pistons (slightly higher compression), new Comp Cams cam, new roller rockers mds delete, behive valve springs, long tube headers, 85mm T/B, Cold air, Dual 2.5' exhaust with 2 high flow cats and turbo style mufflers, 3.92rng and pinion and Diablo Tuner
Going Broke doing it... lol. Doing everything myself except machine work
That's a hell of a build you have going
R/T Life Thanks I used to build all my own Chevy stuff years ago, got the bug when my 2008 Hemi dropped some valve seats and forced me to rebuild it. MUCH more $$ than my old Chevys... I would warn anyone with a 2008 or older 5.7 to replace the radiator. the side WILL split open and almost instantly overheat and the valve seats will drop, this is especially true with high milage motors. I was on the freeway and within 2 minutes my motor was ruined. Its actually very common on 2003-2008. They fixed it on 2009 and up Hemis
I have been hearing a lot about green tunes but have not seen a good comp vs Diablo vid yet, does anyone know if there is that much difference between them?
You load up a greene tune onto a Diablo device. the Greene tune is much better then the canned diablo tune though
R/T Life really so how does that work, is it e-mailed and then upload onto my Diablo?. Did you personally do one and if so, where are you gaining in performance, the top or bottom end?. BTW thank you for answering my question so quickly, I appreciate that man
I’m looking into getting a diablo tuner with the unlocked pcm for my 2016 Dodge Charger rt. What’s the difference between the i3 and the T2? Is it just that the T2 has the nice display or are there differences in what you can do with each?
The actual tunes are the same - the T2 has the nice display screen. You can use performance testing with it & has gauges that can be on display.
R/T Life Awesome thank you! Love your videos man they give me some good insight and feedback on mods that I want to do!
I have a 5.7 Durango, do you think this Diablo tune will work on it since I have the same engine?
Diablosport is asking me the vin number and the calibration number so can order the t2 and pcm kit. But I don’t know where to look for the calibration number. Need help
I don't remember a calibration number - maybe it's on your PCM
I’m just trying to get into the 400 up gang:/ have a stock 2014 rt awd , what should I do
