    I love love love the Evolve GTX all terrain board because it makes me want to live and it is saving my life! I grew up skateboarding downhill in San Francisco. My whole life I dreamed of an invention like the Evolve skateboards and your company has made those dreams a reality. I was diagnosed 1.5 years ago with stage 4 vocal chord cancer. This has been really hard and left me completely unable to speak and very depressed. I decided I had to bring the most joyful thing I could think of into my life as therapy, and that is skateboarding in nature. My friend has been loaning me his evolve board (I have not been able to afford one yet due to massive medical expenses I am struggling to pay). This board has brought so much fun and adventure back into my life that I feel it healing me every time I ride. I can feel it strengthening my body spirit. It fills my life with joy and childlike freedom. I feel that riding your boards is a key component in saving my life! Bless you for creating these most awesome of boards. You are helping humanity into a more positive future of fun and non toxic transport. I thank you for all your company is doing and I pray one day to own my own Evolve GTX all terrain skateboard. Dreams do come true!

    Guys, love your stuff! Been owning a bamboo GT for nearly a year. So stoked for summer in UK and enjoying! BUT there's a huge problem in London. PEDESTRIANS who walk anywhere any time, mostly without looking! Please make an episode on how you signal pedestrians who can't hear you to avoid breaking to the stop or actually hitting them.
    Even better, how about an episode on where you share practical tips on daily commute and general safety stuff? Like using AT on streets to avoid bumps and potholes. Trucks set up for maximum manoeuvrebility but speeds up to 30km/h. Being safe on the road with traffic - maintaining safe distance, hand signs for turns, helmet with lights. Best ways to carry or drag the board. Transporting it safely when it rains unexpectedly (I panic and cover it with plastic bags, try to hide under umbrella ☔ etc). How to lock your board in the safest way if no other way to leave it around. How to have your hands as free as possible when riding and so on.
    My biggest struggle at the moment: putting a light on my finger ( I don't think it's safe enough having it under the board only as traffic in London is intense and cars often run back to back where they can't see the bottom of my board), no way to signal pedestrians who jump in front of me. I either shout, break rapidly or hit them. Very dangerous (bell solution doesn't work as I don't have a place to attach it to... I've looked at electrical bells solutions but couldn't find anything) really looking forward to hearing from you!

    The episode 41 for me is the favorite because I understand the differences in the use of road wheels compared to those for all terrains; I was interested in understanding what was the best solution in my case, using it mainly to move from one garden to another to follow my crops and also to carry out door-to-door deliveries.
    I think the wheels for all terrains are the best performing solution in my case.
    Thank you!

    I am looking to buy a top electric skateboard and been in the UK Evolve boards are a logical choice. I was surprised to see these great instructional videos and also the tricks a person could perform with these boards. I first thought they were merely for commuting. I hope to win a custom version board as I too would like to get into learning these tricks.

      @yoohooloucremefraise4176 Před 5 lety

      Hey Pedro. Look up instructional videos on how to slide using a regular longboard. The mechanics are the same, but you have to throw a little more weight on your tail/rear leg because the gears and drivetrain weigh the back of the board down more; this makes it so that it takes a little more oomph to break the threshold needed to slide.

    hi there.. i have a dual rear hub electric longboard with just standard longboard trucks, but it runs large 90mm wheels... my question to you is would your sweet looking front trucks with the dual bushing setup for dual adjustability fit on my board? it isnt a drop thru deck or anything but i think your trucks would be an awesome addition and help me turn harder... please let me know if they would fit even tho my wheels are soo large... if u have ever heard of it it is called the meepo board... i didnt want to go all out on my first eboard but it has plenty of power for me and i weigh 240 lbs... neways would your trucks work with my board and be able to be mounted on the bottom of the board since i dont have a drop thru deck?

    After much research I think the evolve board is for me... I plan on using the board(s) for fun play with challenged / underprivileged kids. The boards will be therapeutic. We have smooth roads and lots to ride yet thinking the All Terrain wheels are they way to go if choosing one... Would you agree?
    Spent my 20's on skateboards and surfboards looking forward to diving in a few decades later - still ride my old school board now and then.

    • @evolveSkateboards
      @evolveSkateboards  Před 5 lety

      The all terrain wheels give you the option to explore on and off roads! They are grippy on road, give you smooth acceleration, absorb impact and are easy to control. Please note that we do not recommend children using the board under the age of 16. If you have any further questions, please contact your local Evolve or Evolve HQ at ask@evolveskateboards.com.au
      Thank you!

    I think my board is just perfect for learning a lot of these complex movements. It goes up to 17 miles per hour and accelerates quickly but I've been getting a little better at the carving. With that in mind, how do you keep in mind speed? Does it just come naturally?.

    This is my favourite Evolve video as it shows how to carve in style and what wheels give the best grip or slide which is really important so you can set up your board to suit your ride and the terrain. I use AT wheels as like to carve hard and put a lot of energy into the turn so I love the phenomenal grip of the AT wheels which is awesome cross training for surfing! #winacustomGT

  • @Generictingz95
    @Generictingz95 Před 3 lety

    Always good to practice push skateboarding/push longboarding. As someone who skateboarded for many years all these movements are like second nature to me, but not those slides. The video Made it seem like sliding those big longboard wheels is a easy feat and can randomly happen while carving. This is not the case. Even with the non AT wheels it takes a ton of force to get the wheels to lose grip. I highly doubt any beginners will be able to do it by accident. That being said beginners who never skateboarding or long boarded can definitely learn on a eboard but my biggest tip would be avoid throttle while carving

      You welcome Amazon has a few types ones types about $20.00/ the other looks the same for about $74.00.. Turn signal light LED gloves,they also have the vest thing that's a turn signal light indicator,and the type you put under a bike seat a type of Mino bag holder, that lights up Amazon has some nice options,for bikes,boards,ect and you might be able to get creative & make a hat or helmet type if they haven't already yet easy idea to make..maybe you could make a type that's compatible to helmet and gloves and make a complete set.
      Or a type you could put on the back of a skate board,hoverboard, best of luck have fun and please try to remember to wear a helmet no one's to cool for a helmet..best of luck to you..and thank for the nice reply :)

  • @BN99239
    @BN99239 Před 3 měsíci

    Some of these tips may be misleading for beginner riders. The part regarding getting as low as possible only works if you are aware of your body position and balance. I've seen way too many beginner riders just bending their knees and getting as low as they can. Not only does it look awkward to be too low, but they also lose their balance. This is because not everyone is used to bending their knees that much. If they don't really do squats or anything like it before, they may just stick out their butt too much or put their weight all on their toes when they bend their knees. Everyone's flexibility is also different. Some people can only maintain good form when they bend their knees and squat for a little bit, going too far past their flexibility and they have to compensate by sticking their hips out too much, causing their center of mass to shift towards their back. The key should be to be aware of where your hips/pelvis are.

I wish it was because its one of the nicer looking boards and I own one. I have no issue with paying top dollar for something as long as I get a top dollar product, and unfortunately Evolve cannot and does not provide that.
