    Nobody told me about de-weighting over train tracks and stuff. I eventually figured it out and I felt like a bloody genius, it's super helpful.

    Change the standard grip tape for Dope Grip… much more stable and even a bit cushioned for your feet.

    I felt so weird my first day after boarding.
    My legs didn't like it. My legs have gotten stronger. They used to shake during the rides.

    Regarding shoes, I find that a stiffer sole helps a lot. Hiking shoes are not perfect because the sole is not flat, but I find that they are more comfortable after 10 miles or so then my skate shoes. You can tell how stiff the sole is by grabbing the shoe and giving it a twist. You will be surprised how different it can be. Being 64 years old, some bits are, um, not so flexible anymore. So I also added insoles I bought at the drugstore which also seem to help.

      that sort of twist resistant stiffness is also found in running shoes on under the category 'motion control'.

    I often ride the Hadean 15-20 miles. I found that cushioned insoles for the shoes helps. At 67, I take all the help I can get...

      @@kie-skatemods4141 all bs aside, this really works!!! get the hips and feet moving and fatigue vanishes. I ride 2800AH lipos for 30+ miles at a time with almost no stops with no more fatigue issues because of this silly advice LOL and it makes you a better rider IMHO so yeah lets dance!

      @@kie-skatemods4141 i can post my rides from last weekend if you like. Use strava so fairly accurate mileage and speeds.... cant help if youre a FLYweight LOL i live in the burbs so trails her are pretty long. I rarely see other electrics out there. pretty much standard for me to travelwith extras these days. Oddly enough my 6 year old car had 11 miles on it at test drive is now paid for and i am still under 50k on that. testament to my 1st board that i ended up wearing the axle out on (SYL08) silly cheap and low end but great starter board!

    Massage your calf BEFORE you ride. Add a few stretches too. Makes a big difference to sore, numb, tingly calves.

    Laughed a little at the footwear part, I pretty much only wear high support combat or work boots, only issues are arch/instep support, but good insoles solve that pretty quick. Can recommend anyone who wears the same to invest in a good quality gel instep support, will greatly reduce fatigue and extend your ride time.

    1. Ride with proper wheels.
    2. Tighten everything that makes the board carvy (you want speed not calf ache).
    3. Ride with shoes with a bit of height of the soles.

      nah the AT, don't really like offroad all that much, compact dirt and gravel is fine anything that makes any resistance and you will start cooking the motors

    great information thanks but, i am very disappointed to see the lack of safety gear in your videos. Seeing as i lost use of part of my right hand for the rest of my life from a silly simple fall while riding, GEAR UP PLEASE!!!especially wrist braces IMHO

      @@skirmishcustoms2595 Thanks Bro! no worries, since then built and bought 4 more boards. Rode over 70 miles last weekend alone LOL Take if from someone with literally over 10k miles on electric boards, mostly street and sidewalk. gear up! then have fun :)

      I should add, i don't ride evolve boards sorry too tiny for me. I have 3 boards and 5 batteries. big thing is tires all pneumatic and rated for 50psi not the cheaper softer 30 psi tires. huge reduction in vibration and comfort. but then you cross the line between mountain boards and skate boards.. daily board has 10x4 inch tires (dominator) and cyclecagle has 10x2 inch my total DIY board has 9x3 inch...huge

      How do you use a right wrist guard while holding the remote? I usually use my left one, but I haven't been able to find out how to control it with my right one on.

      @@neilsom5117 try diffrent models' of wrist guards. i have a mis-matched set so free hand is fully protected remote hand has fingers free so easily work my vx2 remotes.

    Shoes was the most obvious for me, I found adidas trainers the most comfortable. Used air force and Asics and adidas still better.

    The best fatigue advise i can give is to switch your stance every 5 minutes.

    Most people just give up and switch to AT permanently. lol noobs. It's not even skateboarding at that point. 97mm is fine if you're getting really sore you're unfit and need to skate more.

      I don't think electric Skateboarding or even skateboarding is about proving something to anyone. People can just ride however they want.
      Unless u want to use an old regular skateboard and do tricks, being an aggro premadona about wheels is stupid. Let ppl do and customize whatever they want. Skating on the streets is hella annoying in some cities and having AT wheels isn't even a solution most of the time.
      It's a fun hobby, but let's be real "real skateboarding" is an elitist made up term. The only thing any skateboarder should say to another one is "wear a helmet and keep ur safety above everything"

    your feet should be facing the same direction, turning the front foot forward 30 degrees actually increases foot fatigue in the rear foot. pretty bad advice.

      I rode over 2500 miles last summer, carve hard, have the bamboo, extra battery on my GT Carbon and after I ride a few days the fatigue goes away - I definitely use the 30 degrees, but I ride carve hard -- depends on your skill level if you are a beginner, then perhaps not the best advice -- also I use the wheel to stretch out my foot and calve -- good luck and enjoy what works for you... but in my semi-pro humble opinion, this video is very helpful... ride on:)

      @@dumwaldo Basically, no pro skater stands with both feet facing the same direction (unstable). The advice provided in video is correct! Front foot angle depends on personal linking (range: 25-45 degrees normally)

      @@voltagefrogmatthias2375that’s an emphatic lie. Virtually all longboarders stand with their feet facing the same direction. They might move their feet for a slide but they ride with both feet in the same direction.
      Feet parallel, KNEES FACING THE SAME DIRECTION!
      You look like you are trying to shit in your board if you point your knees in different directions. Pros don’t shit in their board a when riding.
