Traveling to London in September and though I have been to London Thrice before, I am taking my parents and would do everything from scratch. The map is very very very helpful. Will save me a lot of time in research. Thanks a lot!

Thank you! :)
I love your helpful tips and information! You are so generous with your itineraries and suggestions. I'm planning my first trip to England, and have watched a lot of vlogs, but I really enjoy yours. I'd also be interested if you do any other day trips. Have you thought about taking a trip to Yorkshire?
Aw thanks so much, I’m so glad you found it helpful! Some of the day trips I have so far are Oxford, Bath, & Brighton. This Sunday will be a video on a day trip to hike the Seven Sisters white cliffs!
I haven’t been to Yorkshire yet :( but hoping to do more UK travel this summer! So stay tuned for more day and weekend trips from London :)
As an American that’s been to central London multiple times I always tell American tourist do not take the tube. People don’t realize it depending on the time of the day the tube has off peak and peak times. Take the buses it’s cheaper. Unless your going to a far out destination with in zone 1-6 don’t. Avoid taking the Elizabeth line because it’s not part of the underground. There are ways to get from Heathrow to Central London to zone one and two without paying an arm and a leg.
Hmm interesting! The buses are cheaper yes, but the tube is so much faster. So it’s just depends what you value more! Once you’re in central London you can basically walk to all the sites, so it’s not a huge deal.
You are right about the Elizabeth line though! A lot more expensive than the tube (esp getting to Heathrow). I always just use the Piccadilly line :)
London England yeah !!!
Amazing city!
You didn’t mention the theatre! I always recommend seeing a show in London at one of the many theatres in the West End (which is apparently half the price of broadway shows, check online to see what’s good and what’s not) or if you’re into Shakespeare you’ve got to go to Shakespeare’s Globe on the south bank near the Tate modern. It’s a rebuild of the seventeenth century original theatre so there’s seating OR there’s the option to stand and watch the show from ‘the yard’ as people did back in the day. The theatre company who run the globe are fantastic. It’s weather dependent as it’s open air, so if I starts raining and you’re in the yard you get wet, but the cast often interact with and sometimes walk through the people on the yard. Also not used in the winter (they have a smaller indoor space that still has shows though).
Thanks for sharing! It just depends on your interests - I’m not a huge theatre person, nor is anyone who has come to visit me so far. But if you are, this is definitely one of the best places in the world to see a show!
Big Ben is the Bell in the Tower. Tower used to be St. Stephens Tower, but has been renamed the Elizabeth Tower.
Oh interesting I had no idea! Thanks for sharing :)

Hi, this is very useful. Can you suggest which area to stay and can you recommend some hotels in that to cover all the attractions, I'm planning to stay in Wembly 1 day and Central London 1 1/2 days but we would like to stay closer to the attractions so that we're not wasting time for transporation
Thanks, I’m glad you found it helpful. Wembley is quite far! Anything in zone 1 is good, the more central the better like Soho, Westminster or Maryleborne, but those will be the most expensive!
I live in the UK 🇬🇧 and always use feet and inches, but thats not the norm here, i just prefer it. But then I'm 67 and was brought up with it 😊😊
That makes sense! 😊
Hi, thank you for the wonderful video. I’m visiting London next month. Can you please help me with some informations?
1. If I get an Oyster Card for travelling and suppose cap it to 50 pounds, is it valid for 1 day only or more than a day?
2. I found that there’s zone demarcation in London. Now, do Oyster Cards have specific zone limits? Or, having one is enough to get through all the zones?
Thanks 😊
You’re welcome! So if you put £50 on your Oyster card it’s not valid per day, it’s valid until the £50 runs out. The daily cap for zones 1-2 is £8.50 or zones 1-3 is £10, so it depends how far your hotel is and where your traveling
There’s no zone limit for an Oyster card or if you use tap-to-pay (like your credit card or Apple Pay), it just charges you based on how many zones you travel

Very cool!!
Can I invite you to an interesting place in London?
I always love recommendations!
It's a shame you didn't venture further below the river
If someone only has 3 days, this itinerary allows them to see all the main highlights! If they have more than 3 days, that’s when they can venture to further zones and across the river
