Amazing series that highlight the most complete set of tactical squad level rules made. Very well illustrated examples and these Help returning and new players alike. Thanks Cody for this and your sister history/ literature channel.
Thanks for this series. I played the original Squad Leader a couple of times as a 13-year-old (more than 30 years ago), and have been mulling over whether to give this a go since I joined a small gaming club 18 months ago. This Starter Kit version looks pretty accessible (for me at least - I don't mind mathematically grindy games), so I'm in. Now I just have to get hold of a copy in Europe!
Sorry Ben, but my review failed to demonstrate that you ever covered Support Weapons, except for the placement of a DC during the movement phase. You haven’t covered the Flame Thrower and the very important Machine Guns, as well as the associated concepts of Rate-of-Fire maintenance and Portage Costs of all SWs, and Captured Use penalties, etc. I think you need a video added to the SK1 series so that folks can understand use of these weapons for War of the Rats, Scenario 2 and others in SK1.
Thanks, Eddy, for double-checking for me. I must've done the placement and mentally checked them off the list. I can create another episode that covers these aspects.
Great series you have taught my friend and I so much!
Looking forward to your continued series, I find these very helpful.

fantastic episode and very well explained
Hi Ben. Did you include Support Weapons from SK 1? I don’t recall. If not, consider doing so before breaking into SK2. Thanks!
Sorry, Eddy, I didn't respond quicker. Been a crazy week. I covered the Support Weapons in an earlier episode.
