The volume knob is where it is because the co-pilot should NEVER touch the controls đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

hahaha the comment about the volume knob.... I recently test drove a similar vehicle with my partner and she said the same thing "I cant reach the knob very well!" I looked at the sales guy and told him I'd take it

lol. fullsize trucks are so wide inside its not possible to put the volume knob in a location that's easily accessible for both driver and passenger- if they centered it, it would suck for both and obviously it makes the most sense for the driver to reach it.

I bought my truck back in January I love my 3.0 duramax. I have no issues with mine. My truck did burn a little bit of oil just like yours. Mine was at the half way mark before I changed the oil. I use Amsoil so I hope that helps it from not burning. Other than that great truck!

Thanks so far, so good. I have noticed a few other small issues and plan on taking it on a cross-country road trip trailering our boat. So that will be a good test. I plan on videoing part of that

Column shifter blocks the screen when in drive.

I have a 22 high country 3.0 and only complaint is the shifter. I really would rather have column shift

I'm still rocking an antiquated 21 Denali and can't imagine being able to live with a console shifter. The console shifter is great in a Corvette or Camaro, but not in a truck in my opinion.

not a fan of the console shifter

I'm not a fan of the console shifter either, but I absolutely hate the cup holder placement. Such a waste of space and a bunch of moron engineers.

It's a huge console, seems like they could do more with it

Let use know on that def I seen and heard alote of them messing up the truck even when keeping up with the def fluid 2018 they were trying to charge someone 9,000 for a job and it didn't have 60,000

The lower SLE trim still has the shifter on the column.

On the 2023 models? I asked the salesman about it, he said they were all like that

I believe that the shifter moves to the center console when you get the option for center console and column when you don't opt for the center console. It's a $640 option on the chevy trucks to get the center console and you lose the middle seat.

Probably the only person on this planet who has complained about a volume knob being too far from the passenger seat 😂

    Couple questions
Did standard cruise control remain an option that you can toggle back n forth for 2023?
    Automatic high beam dimming remain?
Engine brake shines on a drive with cruise control and rolling hills for sure. Truck kept my 4000lb load right at the set speed.
Camera views staying on longer is a nice change over the 2022.5 models which only stay on for a short time. Wish an update would change this.
Do you still have the large view of the boat on the screen when you turn left or right?
    Enjoy the truck!!
If you really want to see boost pressure and a whole host of other data for the truck. May I suggest a Banks IDash or data monster. They are only for reading and displaying info. No changes to your trucks performance.

I'll do my best to answer your question.
The adaptive cruise control is part of the SLT preferred package
Intellibeam, auto high bean seams to be standard on the SLT
So far, the engine brake has seemed to be lacking. But I have noticed that on the open road, I dont need to apply the brake much
I really like being able to turn the camera on and off. Wish I could get the 360 cameras
Yes, the camera seems to stay on until you toggle it off or turn the truck off
      Many thanks

On my 2023 there's a small volume knob just below the screen on the driver's side, just out of reach for your passenger
