  • Britain's Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett tells his story before his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini in Las Vegas on Saturday - after turning down the UFC twice in his younger years.
He talks about comparisons with former UFC champion Conor McGregor, coming up through Cage Warriors and going off the rails.
Pimblett, 26, fights on the undercard of fellow Liverpudlian Darren Till's fight against Derek Brunson.

@@luisveitia2310 kind of what I meant about gunnin to break that big nose. He does come in open, and swings hard, but very wide, huge gaps. In the UFC, it wont go unnoticed, a nice overhand right to that big shnozz, and that baby is crumbling. And that can't get knock out business will probably end in the UFC. And it may be hard to eat them words, paddy is over excited when he wins an that shows me a lack of confidence, why so shocked if you feel like your gonna win. So want to see how he bounces back from a horrid loss, like a knock out, that shows a true fighters spirit, conor did that with diaz, he did win second fight and came back composed like the first fight never happened. But hey It would be cool to see dude go undefeated till champ, but I feel he is too young and adversity will come and humble him, and its all about he comes back. We'll see.

@@j.v.malley5882 so true. What i fear for him is a growing ego, which was the death of conor. Conor had his feet far more on the ground before he won the second World title, then it was affairs, coke, steroids, whisky, religious bashing etc. As he was no longer thankful he was just greedy. Paddy looks like his ego is taking a massive stroke (as it would at 21) but that's too young to be able to handle the fame and I would predict him doing well for a few fights only before the ego gets the better of him and the money change him into a conor
